It's not an ICS thing, because my GNex still has Flash and it works well. I know that Adobe will not be allowing new downloads from the Play Store starting on 8/15 (but they will still be providing bug fixes for those who already have it) & that Flash Player is not supported in Jelly Bean, but what gives with Moto killing Flash in our ICS update? Now, whenever I visit a page that has an embedded Flash video in the browser, it crashes the browser. :(
Addl. details: Basically, when you upgrade, the Adobe Flash Player app gets uninstalled from your phone. If you reinstall it from the Play Store, it won't work for embedded videos on websites. Unfortunately, many websites still use Flash for their embedded videos. :( Hopefully websites will start switching over to HTML5. This isn't just a bug.. there is an actual process running on the phone called FlashRemoval that Moto slapped in there. I expect to get Jelly Bean ASAP, since Moto prepared the phone for not having Flash so early. ;)

View 6 Replies View RelatedXperia Mini Pro (SK17i); I upgrade to ICS (4.0.4), Build Number: 4.1.B.0.431. After that Notification LED is not working for MISSED call, SMS Alert etc. when screen is OFF. However, it is working for Charging and E-mail (using K9). Checked in Service Menu and all the LED are working fine.
All the LEDs were working when using Gingerbread (2.3). Only after upgrading to ICS it is not working. Is this an issue with ICS?
After updating the x10mp to 2.1, I have lost the ability to use the camera to take pictures. The camera does work for recording videos, saves them too. What happens is that when I take a picture, the camera makes the shutter sound, and then just goes to a blank dark screen. The phone is still on and can go back to the menus. I have tried different sd card, multiple updates, factory resets so far.

After 4.0.4 release installed I'm having problems using the hotspot function. my laptop connects as usual but I can't surf the web. there is no problem with my wireless connection (I use it with my home wireless router without further problems) but I can't open any website when it's connected using the hotspot (data option is also enable in the phone). How can I fix it??

The on-screen keypad seems to work OK.Anybody seen this after updating their mini-pros....Checked that 'Xperia keyboard' service is running. The input method in the keyboard setting is 'Xperia keyboard'.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been at this problem for some time now and I have no clue what has happened. I simply connect the USB to computer and phone, Click Start in PC Companion (in File Manager). I drag and drop my pictures from 'My pictures' to 'images' and the pictures does appear in the folder of 'image' but once I disconnect the USB so I can access the photos in the phone, it's nowhere to be found. I'm not sure what's wrong with the card or the phone, I've tried deleting pictures from the folder ('image') that I open in the computer but once I disconnect to check if the images I deleted are gone, they are still there. It's like the SD card is not even connected or being read by my phone? The weird part is that it use to work before I updated the phone to 4.0.4. The file sizes and formats are identical... Music and other files don't show in the phone at all either.
