I updated my X10i to 2.1 on Orange and am noticing that there's a problem with my Timescape (great app btw) where the phone suddenly goes from Timescape spline to the Home Screen without me touching anything. The phone seems much slower now in loading some apps - one main example is the text/mms messaging app.
View 5 Repliess6 edge.When I am on homescreen 1, how can I get to homescreen 5 without having to swipe over to the right 5 times? How come I can't just swipe left 1 time and go from 1 to 5. Here I will put it another way. Instead of going through my homescreens like 1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1. What if I want to go 1,2,3,4,5,1 by swiping?Or 1 straight to 5 by swiping left. Etc.

It was working fine until about 1:00 today. I have also noticed that double tapping the home key brings up voice commands. Is there any way to turn this off?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAccording to the tips&tricks section of Help Center, when I am on any home screen, pressing home again should take me to the middle home screen. Touching home from the middle screen should give me a thumbnail view of all home screens, enabling me to jump directly to anyone of them. Neither of these functions is working. Am I perhaps missing a setting?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWe have two iPhone...both 4. Both are running the latest software. We both have the same issue. One is that frequently when you press the home button to escape an app it doesn't work. If you press the on/off button and then go back to the home button it may work, but not always. It takes repeated tries to get a response.
The second, and perhaps related, issue is that calls frequently do not connect. I can select a contact from either my favorites or the contact list. When I select the name the phone appears to be dialing. You hear the ring once, but no more and the call doesn't connect. Then you can't end the call to start over you have to wait for it to decide to end.
I don't know whether to restore both phones or not. We are thinking of visiting the Genius bar, but we're sure they will work perfectly there.

Over the last week I've noticed sudden power loss on my Photon. It will go blank without warning. Plug it in and it will show 0%-10% battery power. Watch the screen and it will sometimes jump back up suddenly. From 10-20% to 100% before my eyes. I'm guessing it's a battery or phone issue. Don't see any other discussions about this. Planning on brining the phone in soon

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got my Nokia E75 for about 4 months now. Had no problems with both the camera's or the video camera. I've deleted some videos and now, all of a sudden, as soon as I want to use the camera it opens on video mode, the screen went blank and give the message; "Unexpected error occurred. Power off the device and restart". I did that a few times, but the problem persists. I also went so far to take the phone back to the original factory settings, but to no avail. The next step was to download the firmware from the internet. After that, the camera worked and could take pictures, but as soon as I switched over to video camera. It is the same problem all over again. Can you please help me to rectify this problem?

Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently got my Z5 (upgrade from Z3) literally on Monday 23rd Nov.
I've loaded most of the stuff I had on my Z3 and not loaded anything else that I didn't have on the Z3 (eg. Apps).
However, the first morning upon trying to sleepily swipe the alarm off, it wouldn't work so when I eventually opened my sleep encrusted eyes to see what was up it had a little pop up message saying "home screen not responding: close | wait" so what I pressed as I was trying to get it to stop blaring out Queen at the ungodly hour.
Didn't think much of it but over the past few days it's been doing it still. This morning it did the same thing but it also does it during the day too when I take it out and unlock to start using it.
I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing and whether it's because it's the first usage and it's unhappy with my choice of alarm music, the music I listen to during the day via Bluetooth headphones or maybe the somewhat RAM hogging weather live app I have running as a live background function.
I tried Google but it came up about home being touch unresponsive which this isn't technically doing. If I press "wait" it's a bit like a pc in that it will sit frozen for a minute then start working.
I was using my phone to record something earlier; the battery died while it was filming! I have got the phone charged up and turned on, but I have no home screen. I can access the camera by holding the button on the side, I can access the drop down menu/settings, but that's it.
I have tried holding the power and volume up buttons for 10 seconds; the phone turned off, the time reset, but then went back to normal (time). Still no home screen.
i have just updated to 2.1 but have lost my downloaded apps and when i have tried to download them again they wont go on main screen

Put my phone onto charge last night with phone turned off. Don't normally do that but kept getting FB notifications. Turned phone on this morning and noticed several widgets missing from my home screen. There are gaps where widgets were but now they are missing. They are still on the phone as they're visible on the other screen where all my apps are.
Yesterday it worked properly, homescreen was rotating even in lock screen, today it not. All other apps, call log, messages, even settings rotates normally.
I use it for a dock and in the car.. Tried diagnostic but there is missing test of this sensor..restarted even with button next to sim slot,
Does z3 have the function to rotate the home screen to side ways? I've seen z1 can so I am feeling weird that the newer z version can't...

View 1 Replies View RelatedSomething changed on my Xperia Ray and I don't know what or why. For some reason, when I try to share an app from my Home Screen, the options menu that used to appear asking for how I would like to share is no longer there. It used to be that I could long click an app on my Home Screen and then drag it up to the top where it says "SHARE." Then an options menu would appear and I could select how I would like to share. Now, when I drag something over the "SHARE" area, a little dialog box appears saying "Creating Post." Then it says "Connection Error." I have tried factory reseting my phone and repairing my phone more times than I can count. I'm not sure where the problem is. I also notice, that some settings seem to stay with the phone even after a repair or factory reset. For example, I had to manually enter my APN information when I first got the phone. It is now already entered when I finish a repair. I don't know if this sharing problem is some deep setting that I can't reset or something else all together. It's a royal pain. I really liked and used this feature before and now it's gone!
