Nov 6, 2011My phone displays the following error: "Activity Home screen (in application Home screen) is not responding." I cant open the menu or do anything.

Xperia Z5 :: Home Screen Not Responding
Oct 13, 2015I've recently got my Z5 (upgrade from Z3) literally on Monday 23rd Nov.
I've loaded most of the stuff I had on my Z3 and not loaded anything else that I didn't have on the Z3 (eg. Apps).
However, the first morning upon trying to sleepily swipe the alarm off, it wouldn't work so when I eventually opened my sleep encrusted eyes to see what was up it had a little pop up message saying "home screen not responding: close | wait" so what I pressed as I was trying to get it to stop blaring out Queen at the ungodly hour.
Didn't think much of it but over the past few days it's been doing it still. This morning it did the same thing but it also does it during the day too when I take it out and unlock to start using it.
I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing and whether it's because it's the first usage and it's unhappy with my choice of alarm music, the music I listen to during the day via Bluetooth headphones or maybe the somewhat RAM hogging weather live app I have running as a live background function.
I tried Google but it came up about home being touch unresponsive which this isn't technically doing. If I press "wait" it's a bit like a pc in that it will sit frozen for a minute then start working.

Feb 13, 2012Yesterday, my Xoom has started to really slow down - on occasion. I will touch a button on the screen and nothing will happen for maybe ten seconds, and then it will do the task. Then after this goes on for a few minutes without it getting better, a window will pop up on the screen saying:
Sorry
Activity Browser (in application browser) is not responding
Force Close Wait Report
This not only happens when browsing, but also when working in some apps. In that case, the above screen will mention the app, not the browser. At this point, sometimes I can't even turn off the Xoom. If I just let it sit, it will "clear" itself and start working again. For the record, I haven't added any apps in the past week and the AVG virus program says all is well.
Motorola Atrix 4G :: Gallery Isnt Working Says "Sorry Activity Gallerys Is Not Responding."?
Sep 3, 2011Ok so I just got the droid phone called the Atrix and after setting up my applications I then tried going to my photo gallery supplied on the phone to look through my photos, but when clicking on the gallery it acts as if it is loading, but then a notifications pops up that says "Sorry Activity Gallerys is not responding." I dont understand why it is saying that or how to fix it seeing as how this phone is BRAND NEW!!! I do know that my memory card did have alot of photos saved on it but I dont see how that should matter!!! If I go to my files and then click on the different folders that hold my photos I am able to get to them but not through the gallery

Oct 8, 2012Sony Experia play, the home/standby button will still send the phone to standby but it will not wake the phone, i had to use the slide to activate the phone from sleep but now that has stop working. The phone is on and somebody can ring or text (Rings and vibrates) but the screen does not respond. Once in a blue moon it will work fine, then other times i can sit for 20 minutes pressing and sliding for the phone and screen to wake up. I have tried factory reset etc but to no avail.

May 6, 2011GF facebooked messaged me last night after I tried to ring her, saying that since our last call, her phone had seemed frozen and wasn't responding to her touch. It was on the locked screen and she couldn't get it to work. Physical buttons worked ok.I got her to reboot to reinstall through SU, but not joy. So, what's likely to be wrong with it that suddenly, the whole screen goes pop?

Dec 3, 2012My Xoom2 is connected to internet by celullar network and network coverage are doesn't strong enought to keep my device online every where. (Subway, B1 floor etc.) Here is the thing; every time, when the device loose network or catch back, it on the screen (like as tap power button) and wait 2 minutes (which is my set) then screen goes off. Which is increasing my battery consumption and sort of meaningless reaction. How could i get over it?

Feb 28, 2015Just discovered my home screen is blank, so I thought I had accidentally changed/moved it when I turned on "Easy Mode" to check that out. Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.

Mar 25, 2015If I want to make the Z5 a call and dial the number and pick up the phone, the screen goes black and I can do nothing more. It then responds to anything, not even on the Power button until the other ends the call. Then, the screen lights up again and it goes back all normal.
