My brand new Xperia X10 worked for around 15 minutes after I took it out of the box, and then went dead. I charged it for around 10 hours, but it still does not switch on.
View 9 RepliesI just get LG G3 and see 3 places with dead pixels, one is really hard to see but it is here, second is like 2x larger and third is 3x larger (its still really small point on screen). Its almost week over so i can send it back on next week.

Condition before the incident: perfect.
I always took a full care of my belongings (especially the electronics). This phone was only used by me. I never over charged it and always update it. I also never overloaded it with softwares.Today the phone just refused to turn on (no lights, vibration, nothing at all). Even when I tried charging it, the battery never gave a sign of the charging process.
I have used my phone around 3 AM, at that time I remember the phone having between 25 to 20 % of battery life, and was working fine. I went to bed and woke up around 7:30 AM, that is when I found the phone off. I then tried charging it normally because I never thought that it will never turn back on, I assumed that it ran out of battery and that it needed charging. I tried every method of recharge I was able to perform (of the wall, changed the charger, off a USB cord connected to my laptop, etc).
I luckily had a recent back up, because I updated the software then. Yet, I think its ridiculous because I have paid a lot to get this phone (I actually purchased two of them and now I am nervous that the other one will have the same fate).For now, I am using my an older phone (bold 9780) and contacted T-Mobile USA and see if they can help me, and unfortunately they did not have any clue as they claim, about this dilemma. Meanwhile, I found many people owning bold 9900 and 9930 models complaining from the same problem that I have encountered.

My device is in lock mode, press power button and will not wake up screen.Had to do a soft reset (volume button + power button to reset).Rebooted fine.Seen this once as I wanted to use my phone, the screen was not awake, it decide to do the following:LED notifcation went red, then shortly after flashed three red. The device rebooted.Things I have done, repaired device via Sony Companion software:On the latest frimware (even though this has happend on old firmware).Only restored data from messaging and call log.Â

is there anythign that can be done to stop the screen flickering or is this a manufacturing fault. only had it a few days and not noticed it until this morning (updated software last night to lates version as instructed by SE) please help - is there anything that can be done to put it right or does it need to be sent back to where I bought it from?

Is there any official solution to my newly bought xperia mini st15i? Its brand new but when i plugged to charge or to connect to pc, suddenly the touchscreen become abnormal or unstable. Sometimes i can get it open type in the address bar what i was going to type in and then it closes, sometimes i open the app and it closes right away. I haven't seen any updates recently so not sure whats been going on.I just tried clearing the app cache to see if that works, will report back later.
Clearing Cache didn't work, still seeing the issue. Can't seem to re-create it as it happens at random, but it is still happening.
Ive had this iphone for about 2 years. It is in perfect condition. i was using it all day the day it started messing up. I was taking pictures and i was uploading them to facebook. My facebook became slow and not working right so i restarted my iphone and all of a sudden in the corner it says NO SERVICE. I wasnt really trippen about it because i have a prepaid sim card in it that i havent paid in 2 months or so. But it shortly turned off and turned back on by itself. It was doing that until the battery died all the way. That was when i got kinda scared.Today i plugged it into Itunes and restored it. it still says no service. but it hasnt turned off yet. Im waiting for it.I absolutaly have not dropped it in water so it cant be water damage.

I charged it for 15 mins, unplugged it, set an alarm, and 5-7 minutes later the screen was black and won't turn back on. The case/phone is still hot, and it still won't turn on after 2 hours. It hasn't cooled at all either, and my AC is blaring in this house.Â
When can I expect it to turn back on? That is, if it's even off at all.... Is there a reset button-pattern I can push to expedite the process? Is there anything I can do?

When using the bundled music player my music will stop playing approx 1 minute after the screen turns off. I do not run any app killers so I know that isn't the problem, also if I use a different music player (like google music) this problem doesn't occur.
I have had this problem for a while and I fixed it just by using another music player, however recently I got a FM transmitter for my car and its buttons seem to interface with the built in music player.
Today I noticed that if I take photos using the camera shortly after the phone has booted they are not stored on either the internal storage or external SD card even though it looks like the photo was taken.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was recently on a trip and went swimming with my phone.  The covers were all closed and about 2 minutes in to my swim the the camera stopped working.  The battery (which was fully charged) died within a couple hours after the camera stopped functioning.  I tried plugging it into the charger and the charging screen came on for a minute and then dissapeared.  It did not charge and since then the phone is dead.  I currently have my phone in rice hoping that  out any moisture that got in.

I took the phone out of my pocket, hit the power/lock button, and nothing happened. I tried double tapping the screen, holding the power button down for a loooong time, plugging it in. Everything.

So i was sitting there and the screen turns on by itself I thought ok phone call or text. I try to unlock the screen I noticed there was no signal bars red x and screen would not unlock it was frozen then about 5 seconds the phone turns off.

Now it will not power on and I have tried 3 known good chargers but the led in the top flashes red. If I press power down button led stays solid red as long as I hold power button on when on charger. If I unplug from charger power button does nothing not even power + down or up volume. I even tried little yellow reset button next to sim card nothing. Is my 4 month old phone shot? The sony companion app on pc does not find phone either this blows.
I have an xperia z2 it was working fine and suddenly it went dead no sign of charging no light nothing i tried every trick on the net " run + volume " anything I found I've already try it but nothing i changed the motherboard and still nothing i went to a repair store and after 2 weeks it's on but only for 2days and went dead again.

Since the 314 update, there seems to me areas (bottom half of screen) that are sometime completely unresponsive to taps..
I HAVE PROBLEM WITH MY XPERA Z3 6633 dual. I put it off and connect it with pc and then trying to goto recovery mode. But xperia it vibrate 3 time and and ask for driver csus_bulk like this type i dont remember now. But after that mobile completely dead even pc doestnot recognized the usb device. Now i set mobile at charging and red light is not on.
