Xperia Z2 :: Touch Screen Dead Zone
Jun 8, 2014I have not had one issue with regards to hardware until now...
Since the 314 update, there seems to me areas (bottom half of screen) that are sometime completely unresponsive to taps..

Xperia Z2 :: Dead Display And Touch Screen On Phone
Apr 20, 2015I'm Sony user since 4 years ago as I started with Sony Xperia miny pro, Xperia S, Xperia Z1, then Xperia Z2.
Now I own the black model of the xperia Z2 since 2 days I decided to try the waterproof ability and take a photo under the water. I took the phone with me under the water it's not more than 30 meter and not more than 6 min .a few hours later, I found out that some of the water got in because I can see some condensation on the camera lenses both front and back.
Another few hours later I found out that the screen starts to flicker then the screen dies. All other functionality such as the sound still works because I can hear the tone if someone call me or receive a sms but the display and touch is dead.
Xperia PLAY :: Dead Spots On The Touch Screen?
Dec 5, 2011as of today my phone has dead spots on the touch screen where it will not read my touch at all. and the other spaces that will react slower. is there anyway to resolve this without having to go back to verizon and getting it replaced....for the 5th time?

Jun 20, 2012I am an addition to that list wherein the touch of my phone has gone completely dead. Have tried the repair option via the PCC but that has not helped. Rebooting multiple times has had no impact. Although the soft keys on the phone still operate but the touch has become completely unresponsive.

Jan 27, 2012So everyday I go through a dead zone with my phone, and everytime I go through this dead zone, I have to reboot my phone after because it prevents me from being able to use the internet or bbm. In bbm it makes an eternal red clock (even after I fix it the messages I wrote before rebooting never send) and the internet will not load anything (nor facebook). So what I do everyday is pull out the battery to do a full reboot.

Jan 18, 2016Motorola Droid Turbo (v. 1) Ballistic - I have a dead spot on the upper left hand corner of the screen, annoyingly right where a menu or "back" navigation button usually is in an app. I have confirmed this one spot is dead to the touch with a screen tester. When I turn my phone off and back on, it reactivates the spot for a time, then eventually it goes dead again. This phone is less than 2 weeks old...I just got my settings just the way I like them.

May 18, 2012I recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (MT11). I locked the screen using the Power button of the phone. I have set a password for unlocking my phone. Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). Could you guys please help me make my phone screen responsive again. This is a brand new phone, just a couple of days old and no apps installed other than loaded by the Company itself.

Sep 30, 2010The date and time is Sept 30 2010 at 11:32am. Which i set and is correct and is correct on the smaller clock on top right hand of the screen. However, on the bigger time and date that "floats" on the touch screen it is still reading 9:43am with yesterday's date which is the 29th of sept. Then when i want to change my phone setting to either vibrate or silent....again, the smaller notification is correct but the big setting that "floats" on screen keeps telling me its on vibrate when i try to change it.

Nov 25, 2011In the past couple of days, I am having trouble with the touchscreen on my Neo V. It does not respond as well as it did before. For instance, the slide unlock takes 3 times to slide before actually unlocking. The upper notifications bar does not get pulled down easily. And while scrolling, I end up opening something appearing on the screen wherever the finger is touching while scrolling. All this did not happen before. I performed a system test as well, which does not really show any problem with the touchscreen. Restarting the phone did not help either. What could be the issue then?

The screen is not black its working all that isn't working is the touch,. All the seals were closed and it doesn't seem that any water has gotten into the phone.
