Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Upgrade To 4.0 Runs Slower?
May 5, 2012after an upgrade of os to 4.0 from old os of 2.3.4 my neo v runs slower and crashes on games which before never did happend using the old software?

Jul 3, 2012I waited and waited for the OTA. No issues on install, and I do love many of the new features. However, my phone is generally slower to respond. Where it would once keep up with my swipes, pokes, and keystrokes, it now seems sluggish at times. Exceptionally slow when hitting enter from the google search widget. That is, the time from when I hit search until the time a webpage is loaded is much slower than before with both Chrome and Browser.

Jul 3, 2010Yesterday i bought Xperia Z5 dual, i like it, it is a fantastic phone, i liked every thing in it but i have one problem, THE BATTERY. the Battery runs out quickly. when i use snapchat in 5 minutes the battery lose at least 3% also in youtube and games. Wi-FI scaninig, location, NFC, bluetooth are off, the brghtness is under 40%. i don't know why, is it from my phone or is it a mistake from the company.

Feb 12, 2012I've been having a problem the last few days. My GPS icon stays on continuously and ***** the battery dry. I've seen issues where it will stay on for 12 hours. Even though I thought that was abnormal, it would eventually turn off and resume normal function.
Now it is just running non-stop and the only way for me to stop it is to manually turn off the GPS.

Sep 9, 2010With 4.0 to 4.0.2 the speed at which the iPhone 4 took pictures was amazing. Now with 4.1 it seems to take longer, not much longer but long enough that you can easily miss a shot.Even with HDR off it still takes some time to take a photo. On 4.0.1 I could take several photos super fast, but now the shutter comes over the screen for like a second which is much longer than before.I even tried to take a series of photos in quick succession and one turned out blank.Is it just me or is it just a result of 4.1 and the HDR feature (even though it's off)?

Feb 8, 2012My 9700 achieves a steady 6+ mb and my new 9780 unbranded (RIM) struggles to achieve 2mb. I have tried router channel changes and WPA - WEP and removing all security. The results remain the same.
I have been to other wifi locations with both phone's and test results are the same with the 9780 always being slower.

Feb 20, 2010My 3Gs is simply slower on WiFi signal vs 3G. I can go to a site with 3G and move faster and load quicker than when on WiFi. Now, I'm a goob when it comes to understanding things so, maybe the WiFi is slower due to people using it, etc.
But in typical fashion at the airport, restaurant, etc., 3G is what I usually use to search and do things on. Of course, at home, I cannot test it as we only have an Edge signal...
Any idea if I am correct in feeling the WiFi should be faster than the 3G signal?
I'm on 3.1.2 (7D11) and Carrier 5.6

After this, all of the reponse has been slow.Especially, when the phone is screen locked, and I try to use the phone I press unlock button on the side. Screen come up slower than the first time. And also, when I talking on the phone through the ear, and I try to hang up(the phone is getting away from the ear, it supposed to show the menus, like add call, dial pad, end call.)This screen comes up little slow now.I went on to check the apps running and nother were really heavy software running. Should I try to reset the factory reset? Any recommendation? Aug 14, 2010I do cross country so i run 5 miles every morning. I've been messing around with a lot of apps to track my runs. I started out with nike+ and i must say it is very feature-limited and not accurate (4.4% error after calibration) compared to GPS with the motionX app (~2% error compared to google maps). so far i've tried:
-Nike+
-motionX GPS
and i just downloaded Runkeeper and i'll be trying that out. Any other apps i should try? Runkeeper looks promising so far.

Anyone else have these issues.My husband has the exact same phone and we will be sitting next to each other, he has 2plus service bars and I have no service. His syri works just fine.

Apr 17, 2012My iPhone 3gs (8gb) runs into a so called CRC Error once every now and then while I am on the phone. What happens? While I am on the phone, the entire iPhone crashes and reboots. The error log shows a panic log entry with a simple "CRC ERR!" description. When I just had the phone, this occured almost every time I was on the phone for longer than 5 to 10 minutes. I have sent it back to apple but they did not find anything wrong with both hard and software and shipped it back to me unchanged. After they checked it, I had no problems for a few weeks but today, it happened again...
Since I got the phone back, I did not change anything in the settings nor did I install any new apps. The only thing I can think of is that I enabled iTunes WiFi synchronization the day before yesterday.

It stays charged throughout the day and only would run down - about 30% - 50% if I am talking on the phone while taking the train home (about 40 minutes). Since yesterday, it totally ran all the way down before 2 Pm without any unusual usage - just checking some emails occasionally. It was charged fully this morning and I took the charger to work with me and had to recharge it twice already. How do I find out if the battery is bad?
