With 4.0 to 4.0.2 the speed at which the iPhone 4 took pictures was amazing. Now with 4.1 it seems to take longer, not much longer but long enough that you can easily miss a shot.Even with HDR off it still takes some time to take a photo. On 4.0.1 I could take several photos super fast, but now the shutter comes over the screen for like a second which is much longer than before.I even tried to take a series of photos in quick succession and one turned out blank. Is it just me or is it just a result of 4.1 and the HDR feature (even though it's off)?
When I leave the camera app, my phone is apparently accessing my camera and taking a picture. The photo isn't saved in the gallery, but then I go into the task manager, I see a photo of wherever I was when I left the camera app. Is there a way to disable this?
my iphone 4s camera, It was working well with close ups, and focusing but all of a sudden is very blurry and cannot focus on close objects. I've tried restarting the phone and turning it off and then back on. Nothing is working
Sometimes, when I'm going to take a picture and it identifies the objects and people, the camera gets stuck and it does not shoot in the moment I press the bottom but 2-3 min after.
Here is the picture where the problem is most obvious: [URL] ....
As you can see, there are 5 green dots in the picture. I understand that when taking direct pictures of a sundown etc., that there might be some lens flare in the picture, but these dots are caused by the lights of a CHRISTMAS TREE! (How many people are going be taking pictures of their Christmas tree in the coming few weeks..?) Also, no matter how I positioned my camera, the dots still continued to show in other pictures as well, forcing me to delete them. Â
What are my options here? Buy Photoshop and edit the dots out and accept that a 899€ phone has a bunch of camera issues, or is it possible that apple could at some point fix these lens flare issues in an update?
why my iphone unable to take video, and the camera doen't have any function .. only taking photo.. ohh unexpected .. please anyone could share any information with me... also my iphone often unable to charge battery just appear battery whin thin layer red only...
When I take a photo, and have pressed the tick button to accept it. The camera app closes down and I'm back on the main screen of my phone, so I've then got to re-open the app to take another photo. I know it never used to do this, it's only been the last couple of months I've noticed it. It started doing it before the update to 5.0.1 so I know that didn't cause it... How to stop it from closing down after accepting every photo.
I was just sitting watching tv and my G4 was on my desk where it had been untouched for a least an hour. I heard what sounded like the camera make that shutter click sound but didn't really pay too much attention to it. Then a few seconds later I heard it again so I got up and saw the phone was on, the camera app was open and it had taken a couple of pictures. I know there are some apps that claim they can access the camera so is it possible somebody has access to my phone? I've only had it a week and bought it brand new. Have I been hacked?
I've had my E72 for a little over a month now, and I'm pretty satisfied with. I have recently come across an annoying problem though: When the phone has been turned on for some time (30-60 minutes) the camera starts to lag after taking a picture. The duration of this lag can be up to 40 seconds, and it is pretty annoying that I have to wait for that long between shots. If I turn the phone off and then on again the problem goes away for a short period and then returns.
My camera kept going off taking random pictures then i went to telus got a download and it has done it once so far then this morning it went to my password as it does after its been inactive for an hour and this time i cannot use the keys to type in my password. And it wont let me use the keys on the touch screen.
I returned my first htc one because it was having some bugs however my new one is driving me nuts... went to dinner with my friend and i was using every mode possible to get a good night outdoor picture (being that the htc was so hyped about being able to take amazing pictures) every single picture came out blurry.
I tried every mode! normal mode, night more and HDR mode. also it took a couple seconds for the picture to take after i tapped on the screen to take it (i had it under the setting to tap to take a picture) HDR lag was even worse. Here is a sample picture of my friend (this was one of the clearer shots). Also every picture looks so pixelated.
I receive an error message saying "cannot zoom in this mode" whenever I try to zoom in when taking a normal picture. This happens whether I'm in auto, beauty face or panorama. I cannot find a setting that controls this. I've had the phone for about two months and could swear this had not been a problem initially. I can't relate the problem to anything I've set on the phone. . a Spring Galaxy S5
My 3Gs is simply slower on WiFi signal vs 3G. I can go to a site with 3G and move faster and load quicker than when on WiFi. Now, I'm a goob when it comes to understanding things so, maybe the WiFi is slower due to people using it, etc.
But in typical fashion at the airport, restaurant, etc., 3G is what I usually use to search and do things on. Of course, at home, I cannot test it as we only have an Edge signal...
Any idea if I am correct in feeling the WiFi should be faster than the 3G signal?
i have had my Blackberry bold 9000 for quite a while and have had no complaints other than the odd small problem but i have been able to work out how to swap the camera lens from taking pics from the front of the phone.
Camera taking forever to take a picture? There is about a 2 second delay on mine that I can't find out how to get rid of. Keep missing out on those moment pics that happen. The camera takes good pics, when I can find a still already.
When trying to take photo, caption comes up 'Could Not Capture The Image'. Camera has been working perfect all year.Have rebooted, repaired and formatted media card. Also update OS. Have deleted any unused Apps.
I have recently bought an Xperia Ray. The problem with the phone is that sometimes it just freezes when I try to take a photo or use the digital zoom on the camera. I have to take out the battery to start the phone. I have already restored the phone once, to see if the problem will go away, but it hasn't.
I have been having real problems with the picture quality when you take pictures of documents. As I am a student, this is quite a big deal for me. Whenever I take pictures of like notes and stuff (in the document mode), the quality is great, but when it comes to zooming in, the pixels don't clear up at all, they remain blurry, so in the end the document mode is a complete useless tool! I have seen other phones like the Iphone 4 or the blackberry torch have great quality even when zoomed in, the pixels clear up. I thought sony was known for its camera!
So I've been having this issue for a while now, and can't seem to figure out what's causing it. I mainly noticed it after downloading the 8.1 update, but I frequently have issues with the camera freezing when taking pictures. What happens is I will let the autofocus do it's thing, and then when I press the shutter, the autofocus thing stays on the screen, and nothing happens. I've figured out that if I just give it time, it will eventually snap the photo, but no photo is ever saved in the camera roll. I thought it was a thing with my SD card, but it happens when I open the camera fresh too, and not only in taking pictures one after another.
So I have an S6e and since last week I noticed that when I double tap to launch or launch from the app the camera can take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute to focus. I try to refocus by pointing it at a few things or touching the screen but it doesn't so anything. I haven't used the camera in a few weeks, could that be it? Sometimes I have to exit out of the camera because it doesn't focus at all but then it still takes a bit to focus on things
I experienced freezing while shooting HDR+ after the initial update, but after un/reinstalling the Google Camera, it seemed fine for a couple of weeks, but the problem has returned with a vengeance. I cannot shoot anything in HDR+ without the camera and phone freezing.
Regular photos snap fine, but when shooting HDR+, the progress indicated gets to about 2 o'clock and then image totally freezes. After a few seconds, it will close and pop up a crash box offering to report or acknowledge with OK. (I've reported it.) Sometimes it will put up a notification that "HDR+ photos are processing in the background, but if you tap that it takes you into the Photos app and there's nothing there and then the whole phone freezes. Yesterday, I noticed the GPS stuck on (was in a basement) at the same time and had to reboot the phone.
I un/reinstalled the update again yesterday and HDR+ worked for a couple of shots, but today it froze again. This is clearly an unacceptable way to manage the problem. I'm tired of missing pictures because the camera app crashes. I was at a major event last week and had Camera crash on launch for the first time. Fortunately, I was able to quickly reboot before snapping a group shot, but if I hadn't noticed beforehand, I would've had a crowd looking at me while I frantically restarted my phone because of a buggy basic app.
Rooted, stock Nexus 5, Android 4.4.2, faux123 kernel (to try and fight the terrible battery life), no GravityBox things which I've seen mentioned as possible causes.
