With 4.0 to 4.0.2 the speed at which the iPhone 4 took pictures was amazing. Now with 4.1 it seems to take longer, not much longer but long enough that you can easily miss a shot.Even with HDR off it still takes some time to take a photo. On 4.0.1 I could take several photos super fast, but now the shutter comes over the screen for like a second which is much longer than before.I even tried to take a series of photos in quick succession and one turned out blank. Is it just me or is it just a result of 4.1 and the HDR feature (even though it's off)?
My 3Gs is simply slower on WiFi signal vs 3G. I can go to a site with 3G and move faster and load quicker than when on WiFi. Now, I'm a goob when it comes to understanding things so, maybe the WiFi is slower due to people using it, etc.
But in typical fashion at the airport, restaurant, etc., 3G is what I usually use to search and do things on. Of course, at home, I cannot test it as we only have an Edge signal...
Any idea if I am correct in feeling the WiFi should be faster than the 3G signal?
After updating to ios 7.1.1, i feel regret, apps work slower than usual, wifi is slow and everything seems worse . Can apple downgrade my iphone to ios 7? I should not have downloaded ios7.1.1....
My N8 keeps on getting slower and slower when it comes to turning it on and turning it off or when trying to load a app E.g. camera? What can I do to make this faster I don't download apps I just mainly use my phone for the camera and texting / calling and emails?
I have problem since my Z3 updated to lollipop. When I tried to load my contact, it seems took too long for high end phone like Z3. Especially if the phone connection somehow disconnected, I found that to open again my contact need time for loading.
My 9700 achieves a steady 6+ mb and my new 9780 unbranded (RIM) struggles to achieve 2mb. I have tried router channel changes and WPA - WEP and removing all security. The results remain the same.
I have been to other wifi locations with both phone's and test results are the same with the 9780 always being slower.
I waited and waited for the OTA. No issues on install, and I do love many of the new features. However, my phone is generally slower to respond. Where it would once keep up with my swipes, pokes, and keystrokes, it now seems sluggish at times. Exceptionally slow when hitting enter from the google search widget. That is, the time from when I hit search until the time a webpage is loaded is much slower than before with both Chrome and Browser.
I'm facing a strange issue on my N5. After the update to Marshmallow, the clock is getting slow. I have tried to malually fix the time, set it on automatic and even automatic time zone; but no prevail.
With the recent blurb from RIM about the new up and coming webkit browser, I started playing around again. I currently have Opera Mini Beta 2 and Bolt 1.7 on my Storm....along with BB browser of course...
I just don't see how folks can navigate quickly with Bolt. That screen is so little and trying to get that little pointer in the right place is frustrating. I have read that Bolt is supposed to render better, if a little slower than Opera. I must just have too big of fingers for Bolt...
Prior to the Cyan update the uploading from camera roll or just after a pic was very fast. Now it opens the Facebook page when you upload and if you leave the page it stops uploading.
I received my Vibrant on last week. I've installed less than 10 apps.Which is not heavy,(emails, weather, three games.) After this, all of the reponse has been slow.Especially, when the phone is screen locked, and I try to use the phone I press unlock button on the side. Screen come up slower than the first time. And also, when I talking on the phone through the ear, and I try to hang up(the phone is getting away from the ear, it supposed to show the menus, like add call, dial pad, end call.)This screen comes up little slow now.I went on to check the apps running and nother were really heavy software running. Should I try to reset the factory reset? Any recommendation? I know, this is not a major problem.(maybe I should not say these are the problem) but it was fast response but, why it does response little slow?
have a Xoom that is consistently force closing the browser when I visit certain javascript animation sites, including our own web site with animations.(Animations built using jquery 1.4.4 but tested on 1.6.1 as well.) These sites did not cause force closes previous to the Android 3.1 update. The issues are also occuring for our customers with Xoom tablets recently updated to Android 3.1.An example site that crashes:http://css-tricks.com/revealing-photo-slider/Also, we found that if we follow the instructions here for turning off OpenGL (hardware acceleration) support in the browser,http://www.intech-bb.com/how-to-improve-asus-eee-pad-transformer-browser-speed/the force closes do not occur and javascript animations are in fact smoother and better than before!! However, Adobe Flash support is also lost if OpenGL is disabled.
I read a few articles dating to 2010 saying that iPhone 3G could update to iOS 4.0, but when I try to update my 3G through iTunes or manually, it won't. So, I was wondering if it still could update the software.
I UPDATED MINE not knowing that itll be a big problem this phone my friend gave me is now useless, i feel bad about this it is my first iphone, and i thought uppgrading it will be better, now its totally useless, it is locked and cant even go to the apps, i never did a jailbreak cause i dont want it it was workin fine before, i hope apple support this kind os problem cause they are the one gave the updates so they shud support it, im not the only one who updated my phone and having problems, ive been up for hours just researchin on what to do, there are many users out there like me with the same issue. please do something apple e cant just sit and wait
I hit the "Reset All Settings" button on my Jailbroken 3.0 3GS and basically it would never reboot again (the Apple sign would repeatedly keep coming on but never actually reboot). So I put it into DFU mode and had to update it to 3.1.3. Good thing my last sync was September 8th, I'm definitely doing more syncs from now on. Anyways, will I be able to jailbreak again with 3.1.3 on a 3GS? I know the dev team is always coming out with new ones but I just wanted to make sure that this doesn't mean I'll ever be able to jailbreak again (basically I'm stuck without a jailbreak and really want one back, so I'm asking when's possibly the soonest it'll come out)?
I have updated iOS 5.1 and iphone 4s does not seems to be working, I tried my HomeSeer/HS Touch app and I see the Home screen for a sec, blinks to black, then to the Home Screen again, then back to black and so on
Trying to update my partners iPhone 3 with the latest software but iTunes is telling me that the latest software is 4.2.1 - even after I select Check for Updates.
Can I update an iPhone 3 to the latest software (5.1)?
I updated my iphone 4 from version 4 to version 5. Now I am not able to activate it. It says the sim card is not compatible. I would like to restore it to the pre-update status. How do I do that?
I have an iphone 3gs that's been working perfectly since I brought it. I recently updated to the latest software update and since then the phone keeps switching itself off after a couple of minutes, I cannot restore it as it don't stay on long enough is there any thing that can be done
