Yesterday i bought Xperia Z5 dual, i like it, it is a fantastic phone, i liked every thing in it but i have one problem, THE BATTERY. the Battery runs out quickly. when i use snapchat in 5 minutes the battery lose at least 3% also in youtube and games. Wi-FI scaninig, location, NFC, bluetooth are off, the brghtness is under 40%. i don't know why, is it from my phone or is it a mistake from the company.
i find myself having to charge my phone at least once a day, its an xperia ray (st18i) how can i make my battery last longer? i've tried various apps to try and increase my battery life but none have been as effective as id like and i still have to charge frequently.
I've been having a problem the last few days. My GPS icon stays on continuously and ***** the battery dry. I've seen issues where it will stay on for 12 hours. Even though I thought that was abnormal, it would eventually turn off and resume normal function.
Now it is just running non-stop and the only way for me to stop it is to manually turn off the GPS.
my iphone 4is over heating and the battery life is diminishing very quickly ive rebooted the phone deleted the apps that where open and turnede it off for an hour but it still is doing the same thing with in 5 minutes the battery life has gone from 66% to 59%?
I’ve got a BlackBerry Curve 8900 (ATT, running 4.2.0.108), and have had it since Oct. 2009. Battery life has always been OK - 24 to 48 hrs. between recharges.
Today though, after pulling it off the charger this morning around 8:00 a.m., I’ve noticed that I’m down to about 5% charge by 2:30 p.m. I have made no phone calls today, and have only sent/received a couple texts and rec’d two emails. I've never used a holster, have downloaded no apps, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both off. No keys appear to be sticking. Absolutely nothing, to my knowledge, of any significance has changed on the phone since October, yet all of a sudden --literally, overnight --I am experiencing this greatly diminished battery life. The only even remotely precipitating factor I can think of is that I did a battery pull yesterday, after deleting some old photos and emails.
I’ve searched the forum, and most of the suggestions are along the lines of “turn off bluetooth/wi-fi/update OS,” but as noted, I never used those anyhow, and the OS has always been good to me.
I've recently bought Xperia z2 but right now i'm having severe battery drain issue. At the first day it showed me average time of one & half day but right now its draining much faster & i'm only getting battery life of 13-14 hrs, only using wifi & music app. stamina mode is active but still no progress. How to reduce battery drain? i've seen some post in this blog where people said they are getting battery life of around 4 days.
Since I updated my Xperia X8 to Android 2.1 it is very quickly discharging. It lasts about only 1 day. And when I have a call it takes about 6 % from charge. I have all application closed and tried all advise from guide.
on my second blackberry bold 9900 it drains the battery in a day or less have changed out the battery once before the battery runs very hot according to the installed software , dont have anything running in the background does anyone have a similar problem? also it wont hold the bluetooth pair with my Kia forte
before 2 days iam purcharced z3plus.but i canot get 1 day battery life.me allready chekked stamina mode is on.its active.but iam cheked that used mobile continuesly.battery life only got 5 hours.if one hour mobile using 20 % charge will gone.whats this issue.
I have Neo and found that battery life is nearly doubled when using 2G as cell standby use drops from 48-50% to 13-15% which I like. I also have a -89 to -93dBm 10asu signal strength which believe is good. But when on 2G there is no data connection, so does the Neo not have EDGE or is the phone faulty in respect to data and 3G data as I can only assume that is the cause of the poor battery life.
I bought brand new X10i . then make full charge before use. I just to test see how long battery . In first day, I use only 5min calling. Then put aside, battery down 50% Second day (whole night charging) , I don't do any thing. Only call for 5min In the afternoon, battery 0%. How could they say 5h talk time ? And 140h stanby?
seems a bit odd but my phone uses a lot of battery when i'm checking facebook, reading the first page of news updates and posting a status takes about 5% battery. i know setting the network mode to GSM only helps a lot but slows internet down and i hate waiting lol , so i'm just wondering if there will any improvments to this in future updates? 5% battery for 5 mins on facebook isn't spectactuar.
I have a Neo V and it was with GB in start, then upgraded to ICS and now with GB again, but this time the battery life is lower than in the start. So how to have better battery life?
i am.almost 50 % of battery gets drained out by phone idle & cell standby . it doesnt even work for 24 hrs when m nt using gprs services n the brightness is also low. How to increase the battery life .
Am I the only person who is really disappointed with the battery life on the Z5? Â I've 'upgraded' from an LG G2 and I expected the Z5 battery to be as good as or at least comparable with the G2 but it would appear not. Â It's actually quite funny how bad it is, especially when you consider Sony's claim of it lasting two days. I'm not even getting a full day out of it with moderate usage!
I got my Z3 in March and when I got it I loved its long battery life. I'm a very heavy user of my phone and managed to get 8 hours of screen on time out of it in between charges. I'm not sure if it has been gradual or sudden but I've noticed that lately, the battery life on my phone only lasts for about 3 hours of screen on time. I use my phone for the same things as I did when I first got it.
When I got my phone it was preinstalled with 4.4.4, I got the 5.0.2 update in mid-april and I got the 5.1.1 update a few days ago.
Normally xperia x10 would runout of juice by evening(overnight charging). So life was about 12/16 hrs.I rooted my phone, put setcpu on it. After lot of experiments found the best setting: set to max/min to full. Now my phone is left with 50%+(sometimes even 80%) by evening.Theoritically variable CPU should be better, actually has behaved otherwise and phone is more responsive too.
I am owner of SE Xmini for about half of year now. I updated my telephone to ICS.For last few days, i had a problem with device like it turned off and on alone, like restart for about 2- 5 times / day. And i see, that my battery cannot hold more than 20 hrs. Talk time is 37 min, so i dont use telephone a lot and i dont play games or something. I am also noticing, that Android OS spends much energy. Is that normal ? I try to disable programs in background, but they turn on alone by themself. I tried also everything about display and i also don`t have 3g signal turned on. BT and Wlan is always disabled
How to save battery life in Sony Ericsson Xperia ? I disabled Wireless settings , bluetooth etc even after that it is not possible to watch movie or video songs or play games for more than two hours. I found one useful tip to save little bit - "Wait till your phone gets switch off(I mean your cell battery comes to 0%). And then charge it fully". It will sure gives you a good battery life. But it doesnot work most of the time.
I've read many posts about poor battery life since the last Lollipop update and am suffering the same issues! However, mine appears to be because the phone is constantly awake and WiFi is constantly on. I have 'extended standby' enabled which should kill the WiFi when the screen is off, should it not?
My battery life is horrible. I can barely get a day done and when I stop using it, the battery drains really fast by about 10% in a few minutes. I'm a huge Sony lover and the fact that I can't get the actual amount this Z2 is capable of is really frustrating. pÂ
I have a Sony Xperia Ray that recently starting draining the battery very quickly. I used to get around 36hours use out of it before charging but in the last week I been only able to get 3 - 4 hours max before it is completely drained. I purchased another battery and upgraded the Android OS to the lastest version but am still experiencing the same behaviour (short battery life).
I bought the Xperia Mini some days ago. First thing I did was to update it onto Android ICS. I listen to music quiet often. What I encounter is that when listening to music (with earphones), battery life is pretty bad. Mediaserver is eating up quiet a big chunk of my battery's capacity (have a look at the attached screenshots). I am using a 32GB microSD-card.
By the way, I have already contacted Sony support, who told me to disable the "play on device" app (did not solve the issue).
Have had my experia x10 for almost a year now, and battery tended to last for 2 days (using for calls/ texts/ internet) In the last few days though- I have fully charged my phone overnight, not used it at all during the day, and it has a completely dead battery 6 hours later. I've not got any applications running except for Cardio Trainer, but have always had this running.
