Xperia Z2 :: Battery Life Drains Really Fast By About 10% In A Few Minutes
Jan 19, 2014
My battery life is horrible. I can barely get a day done and when I stop using it, the battery drains really fast by about 10% in a few minutes. I'm a huge Sony lover and the fact that I can't get the actual amount this Z2 is capable of is really frustrating. pÂ
I was received a pic from a friend via Whatsapp and shortly after that,I can't open both my Whatsapp and album.I suspect the file containing virus and I scan my phone with pre-installed AVG Antivirus. But,it shows my phone is free from harmful file.I successfully removed the pic via Photo app and then I realise my battery life is draining too fast than before.
I listen to audiobooks on my commute. Worked fine for a year, but battery life has faded. Now, even with a new battery charged all night, I only got 10 minutes of playback in the morning. I don't use other apps, make few calls & emails. What's my next step?
When I leave it on standby for 8h I notice that it uses 40% of the battery even-though wifi and Bluetooth are off. How come? One time I left for 2-3h. Bluetooth and wifi on and even-though Bluetooth wasn't used (only gets through when a call comes in while I'm driving) and the internet just a little bit it used almost 50% by the time I was back. I'm pretty sure thats not normal.I wonder if the battery doctor app will do any improvement to that.
I upgraded my BlackBerry 9900 Bold to OS 7.1.0.694. After this update, the battery drains in a few hours. Before upgrading, Iused 2g network because the battery lasted longer. In this version can not switch networks, is always on 3G. The device heats a lot.
I got a task killer , thking it would help. but I barely see a diffrence. This is my first smart phone, maybe its all smart phones that the battery drains really fast.Any tips or anything I could do to make it last longer ...!?
I have a 3GS IPhone on 5.0.1. It's been working well for several months, no issues. This past weekend I dropped the phone, but luckly there was no physical damage, and it seemed to work fine afterward. But I noticed that it started to drain the batter much faster than it had before that. I go from 100% down to zero in about 6 hours just by having it sit in my pocket locked. It's also noticably hotter than before.
I Have iphone 4s and it is a big peoblem for me now because its bettery drains too much fast and it becomes too much hot after some time. I am too much worried about that. I dnt knw what can i do now with that.
Initially, my phone worked quite well; battery lasted very well; daily charging was sufficient. Then, something changed a few months ago that has vastly increased power usage. Battery charge does not last past three to four hours. I even replaced my battery -- to no avail. Challenge continues. I am close to discontinuing phone usage and replacing brand.
i got this issue with my iphone since yesterday. It woked me up as usual and i noticed that it was realy warm but haven't thought much about it...was too early So i go to work as usual...then i noticed that the battery drains realy fast (like 1-2% in a minute of usage) and getting very warm on the back right beneath the rear camera (same spot is getting hot while charging). I also noticed that the auto-focus of the rear cam isn't working (also manual focus doesn't work).
I upgraded to IOS 5.1 and also reset it to factory defaults and also generate a new profile for it so no old settings are used. But the problem sill persists :/ As long as it is in standby everything is alright if i use it (even browse through tabs) it starts draining and getting warm
my battery drains fast and i'm actually wondering if there's some hidden applications running at the back of the program.. i already try pressing or holding the menu key to see all the applications open and running but i only have 5 applications open the messages phone home browser and the BBM i tried closing the BBM but it's still there so i'm wondering that it's normal. so now i don't know what to do. i also bought a brand new battery for my 9650 but it's the same it drains fast i can only use it for 2hrs.
I have bought a new iphone 5s after i have updated to 7.1 and 7.1.1 its battery drains too fast. I have turned off background apps refresh also turned off all the apps still the problem exist. At standby its it drops 6 to 8 percent after all background apps are turned off.
I Have been experiencing in the last three months some serious battery issues. My battery goes from 80% to 20% in half an hour!!
The battery is so bad that it drained 10% while writing this discussion believe it or not!! Even though I tried everything to minimize my usage like turning off LTE and location and keeping brightness at minimum. Its driving me crazy because I've going around every where holding my charger because my phone goes from full battery to zero in a two hours or three if i'm using it lightly. What should I do? Keep in mind that the warranty expired several months ago.
[URL] ... I try this, works fine for a day, then my battery drains so fast an shut down, when i try to charge it says "custom binary blocked by FAP lock" i can't find OFE stock, can i use OF7 to revert all?
I bought this iphone a month ago and the battery was fine for the first few weeks. Now it seems to be draining faster. I've turned off all the settings that save battery life, i've restored and set up as new, i've reset all settings, i've tried calibrating the battery i've tried EVERYTHING!
Within the last week my iPhone 5c has begun to get warm and also the battery drains very fast. I have done all the usual things like closing apps, turning off WiFi etc .
My phone is slow and overheats then the battery drains super fast. i also seem to have a problem with the google playstore. I can't log in as its giving me the error feedback...
I charged my phone to 100% last night and unpluged it last night before going to bed. 10 hours later, when I got up, my battery had went down all the way to 68% and with no apps running in the background... All while my iPhone's currently running on IOS 5.1.1. I never had this problem with IOS 5.1, when the battery would only drop to around 97% overnight.
Everybody is aware about strongest point about Nokia fones. Because of easy usage and battery life. After installing Nokia Belle in my Nokia N8, i feel that my battery drains down very badly. ITS ALREADY BEEN POSTED BY MANY NOKIATES. I need some suggestions to gain battery life. I have followed all the methods to increase my battery life (using only 4 home screens, using battery Monitor to check which applications use more batter life, screensavers => off, digital clock, background black, theme black, Mail widget off, Search widget off) but i seriously dont understand the funda behind 'Battery Monitor' application, my 70% of battery life is taken by 'Background'; Anybody knows what does this background actually means in 'BAttery Monitor' application? I am not sure why my battery is getting empty very soon, it wasnt lik this when i was using Symbian Anna OS.Everyday when i sleep by 11 PM and in morning my mob is switched off ( No problem with my battery since it wasnt like this with Symbian Anna OS). Can somebody explain what are all the background application is running with Belle OS ?
I am not sure what happened I have not installed any new app or not using phone constantly. My bettery use to last for almost 2 days with my regular use and not I have to charge it everyday.
I gave my sister my old curve its about 1 1/2 yrs old. the day i gave it to her the phone worked just fine but after she flew back home the battery would only last her a few minutes. i told her to try a new battery but it still has not changed anything. i even got her to upgrade to 5.0 just to see if it would make any difference but it doesnt.
she barely uses any apps, and mostly uses the phone for emailing.on standby it will every 10minutes or so the battery life will go down by 10%, and after a few texts or a minute or two on a call the phone will just die. she can pretty much just use it when its connected to a power source.Seems like a phone issue but there is no warranty on it
My iphone was working well and one day it started to drain really really fast. almost 1% per 3 minutes, without using any app. I've done everything i have to do to improve my battery life:Touch ID, Location Services, Notifications, Background App,Brightness All of them disabled. So , i made every kind of restore that exists (network settings, without any Security or Icloud copy). I've disabled my Icloud Account too. and the problem persists, i really dont know what to do.Â
I bought my Iphone 5S, in December 2013, so i cannot imagine that my battery drain in that way. In 4 hours , i have to charge it again, with a minimal use.
i recently got my new htc one m8 and been using it for one month the battery got worse now i go to sleep in the night with 80% battery on my phone and wake up in the morning with 58% or even less what should i do i got warranty for my phone
