May 9, 2015I just bought z3 dual and just moved from windows to android. I am pretty new to android os and I am honestly liking it a alot.
However, I am really disappointed by the battery performance of z3. The phone is running android lollipop the latest.

Jul 3, 2010Yesterday i bought Xperia Z5 dual, i like it, it is a fantastic phone, i liked every thing in it but i have one problem, THE BATTERY. the Battery runs out quickly. when i use snapchat in 5 minutes the battery lose at least 3% also in youtube and games. Wi-FI scaninig, location, NFC, bluetooth are off, the brghtness is under 40%. i don't know why, is it from my phone or is it a mistake from the company.

Oct 5, 2011My stock Xperia Neo, running gingerbread (Received all updates from sony) has following issues. The battery runs out of juice rapidly (3 - 4 hours). Even when I turn the phone OFF (not idle) it drains completely to a point where it does not want to power on anymore. Also the battery wont always charge, and when it charges the phone (not the battery) gets really hot (the part where cpu is located).
I thought the battery had given up after 1 year; So I ordered a brand new battery. When I received this new battery, the phone restarted. But this new battery faced all the same problems. Phone running hot, battery draining really quick (withing 3-4 hours idle, wifi and data turned off). And when the phones powers off due to the battery being completely empty, it does not restart any more and it does not charge anymore.

Jul 24, 2010So the iP4 gets a full charge at night and it's 100%. I disconnect it and leave it idle (nothing is running). I wake up it's at 68%??
Does it have to do anything with me restoring it from a 3GS backup?
If yes, then how can I backup everything (contacts, notes, sms, photos/vids) and then set it up as a new phone then restore that data?
HTC Desire HD :: Bug Which Causes The Battery To Run Down Quickly?
Mar 13, 2011Not sure if this has been mentioned on here before, there is a bug which makes the operating system power hungry all the time, it seems to cause the phone to lag if you try to run more than one thing at once, another thing you might notice is when opening the Gallery the pictures take ages to load. If you want to try changing the setting which cures all the above go to: menu, settings, applications, development then select USB Debugging. Give it a try, you can always change it back again if you're not convinced, I've found Gallery now loads almost instantly, boot up time is really quick, all screens are completely smooth when navigating around, never lags, Iplayer works much better and best of Battey life is massively better. There is another app to show how much power various parts of the phone is using, before the operating system was always around 35% for me, now its always around 2%. Just thought people might like to give it a try!

Mar 24, 2010This just happened recently. I can feel the thing in my pocket heating up. The battery goes from full charge to empty in the matter of a couple hours.
Oddly though, this morning it said I had no service and my phone was normal temp and the battery lasted a long time. Or course i needed services so I turned the phone off and on and the service was back and so was the hot phone.
The phone is over a year old. I've tried all of the trick. Hard Reboot. Reset all of my settings etc.

Jul 16, 2010I took my iPhone4 into the Apple store so they can look at the battery issue I think I am having. Here is a screen shot of the performance of the battery before my visit.
They said the phone needed to be reset to a new phone because I initially choose to use the backup of my last iPhone when I initialized and there is probably a software problem which is draining your battery faster.
Me: Well, Ok. But can you please run a diagnostic on the phone before we reinitialize.
Apple: No. There is noting wrong with the batter, this is a software problem.
Me: Ok.
So this next screen shot is after using the phone after initializing as a factory reset.
I am not seeing any difference in the performance if anything it is a little worse.
Do you all think I have a problem or is this normal performance for the iPhone4 battery? Apples website claims the phone should be standby 300hours, internet, 10hours.
I haven't been doing any heavy use just normal internet use, some angry bird action and a couple video shots.
What type of performance are you all having?

Sep 23, 2011have a curve 3g leass than 6months old however the battery is just draining way too quickly since last 10-15days.
Also the OS hangs from time to time. The phone is revived only i remove the battery and out it back afterwhich battery shows as red, External Apps installed : Whatsapp, Quickpull and foursquare

Apr 6, 2011Recently i have noticed my blackberry battery draining quickly (from fully charged) and only lasting roughly 5/6 hours,not even lasting a full day. The battery has only just started draining this quickly as since i got it (november 2011) as it was a replacement it would last roughly 1 and a half days without charging. I mainly use my phone for bbm,calling,texting and internet. And i close down any active applications that doesnt need to be open.
Few days ago i bought a new battery but its still no change

I have noticed that my usage time since last charge, taken at 1% battery level from a full charge, is about 4 hours and 45 minutes of usage and about 9 hours and 15 minutes of standby time. Is anyone getting battery drain this quickly? I have followed all the battery saving tips from restricting Ping and iAds to getting rid of most notifications and removing a lot of location services except for Maps and Safari. I also adjusted brightness to auto and deselected the "Send usage logs to Apple."

Jun 24, 2012My iphone 4s is only a few months old. After I updated the latest software update I noticed my battery drains down to red every day. This has never happened. My local ATT store said to minimize all the programs on the bottom of the screen. I've never had to do that before so I can't imagine that's the problem?

Dec 8, 2014I keep most of my apps closed, don't send messages, rarely talk on the phone, don't play games or watch videos, don't even listen to music, have set most of my apps not to refresh in the background (maybe I don't need a phone?) and my battery drops to 30% in 8 hours after being charged all night. This is new behavior, so I'm not sure what to else to do.
