Xperia Pro/Neo/V/L :: Suddenly Got Switched Off & Heated Up
Sep 15, 2011I had just kept my Xperia Pro in my pocket. Suddenly, after sometime I just took my cell out of pocket & noticed that it had heated up a lot suddenly & it was switched off. I was not able to switch it on. So, I'd to forcibly remove my phone's battery to restart it. This thing has happen twice & my cell is just a month old Without using the cell, whats the reason for it getting heated up?

Oct 28, 2015My Z3 has been shutting down automatically. At first I was still able to turn it back on, but then would shut down within 5 min.
Afterwards, it would only be turned on a few seconds while charging. Now it wouldnt even turn on.
I've exposed my Z3 to water (warm) earlier but I am not sure if that is the issue since it still worked after.

May 20, 2015For the past two days my XPERIA Z2 has been constantly shutting down after just a minute or two of using the device. The message displayed says something along the lines of 'phone is about to shut down due to high temperature'.. I am aware that I will have to update my software, but before I do that I need to transfer precious data from my phone to my computer, which I cannot seem to do as the device shuts down the immediate moment the PC Companion recognizes it. I am losing my mind, I really don't want to lose my data, mostly my pictures, i.e personal memories.
How to solve this, i.e backup files before updating the software? There must be some way since the device DOES turn on, it just doesn't stay that way for a long time...
