i had simply updated my Neo V (GB 2.3.4) firmware to build number 4.0.2.A.0.62. But now i find that my Wifi gets automatically switched on , even though i prefer it switched off most of the time..this happens at least thrice a day...i keep switchin it off and later i find it switched on again.

Ever since I connect my gopro to my z3, I don't get auto connect to my house wifi. I will need to disable the mobile data traffic and only then i can connected to my house wifi. Previously, when i reach home my z3 will auto connect to my house wifi without me disabling any mobile data traffic on my settings.

I checked on Wifi Alaways on . But as soon as i m out of wifi signal it will go off. I always forgot to turn it on as a result of it . Could it be from one of the app i installed ? I m pretty sure nothing wrong with the product as i can use it when the wifi is on.

View 6 Replies View RelatedXperia Neo V. The Wifi function suddenly shut down tonight after I activated the 'Auto Synchronize' function in the settings. It appears that everytime after I try to turn the Wifi on, the screen is not responding and there isn't any wireless signals it can search (while there's actually several wifi signals), it's like the phone is dead, and I had to wait for like 10 seconds before the it started to respond. I tried to turn the phone off and restart it, but it didn't work. Other functions works well, only that I can't connect to internet since the wifi is not working.

I have pretty bad wi fi reception in my bedroom, however it's just sufficient for my phone to detect it and connect, but it drops out and syncing/downloading/loading web pages is very slow ad often fails.

I have always wondered on my Blackberry Bold 9700 under Options-SMS Text and go down to Network To Send Over and it gives me 4 options:
Circuit Switched
Circuit Switched Preferred
Packet Switched Preferred
Packet Switched
My Network is Circuit Switched Preferred, but i would like to know if anyone knows what these mean and which is the best for SMS Texts to be sent over using which one?
I've got my S2 now for maybe 2 weeks now and only now I noticed that my Wifi hotspot function is not working. I tried that with 2 different SIM's (in different countries) with the same result. Tethering via USB works fine. I can switch on the wifi hotspot (open or secured) and I can even connect to it. On my Win7 machine I have a connection for a few moments, after that I lose connection and at the end I lose connection to the wifi hotspot.
On my blackberry I can connect the first time. That connection stays open for maybe a minute. After that it automatically disconnects and I cant connect anymore until i restart the hotspot. When I switch off the hotspot it takes a long time and it ends with error (the status under wifi hotspot). If I just enable hotspot and disable it again it is without errors. So this seems only to happen when a client actually connects... I tried already a factory reset and read somewhere to enable bluetooth before enabling the hotspot, but the problem stays the same ...

I noticed that the phone is getting hot after making some photos and video. When I recorded a 4K video the camera switched off after only 2 minutes with massege Overheating! I saw that many others had the same problem. My question is is there a chance to fix the problem. Can I return the phone and change it with another one?

Once a battery level comes down to 20% and if i try to do something after that, then it just shows me a warning for battery low and pressing OK makes mobile getting switched off automatically. It wont get restart again until and unless I wont put it for charging. When the phone get restarted then the charging level will start charging from 20% which is quite strange. I already removed the battery, cleaned the points many time but problem didn't get resolve.
