Turn Off Hourly Chime On IPhone?
Aug 30, 2014My iPhone sounds a chime on the hour and quarter hour, but only certain times of the day. I've searched how to turn this off, and cannot find how to. I have NOT installed an alarm app.

Nokia :: N97 Keeps Restarting And Turning Itself Off Hourly
Jan 22, 2010the phone keeps restarting itself (it is now up to 5 times a day if not more!!!), and at night it even turns itself off (I mean I wake up in the morning and the phone is off). The other bug is that I cannot exit applications through the "open apps" menu (which is accessed by long-pressing the menu button). When I try to exit an application through there the phone crashes.
I did hard reset, soft reset, formatted E drive (each of those several times btw) and none of this helped. I took it to the nokia care center (the only one in Israel BTW!) and they said that they've never heard of those problems and it shouldn't happen, so they reinstalled my firmware. After that didn't work, I came back to them and they tried reinstalling the firmware again (they thought something maybe went wrong last time) and that didn't work either................

May 21, 2010Has anyone ever seen this notification before? It doesn't seem to link to anything, and only a BP gets rid of it. It always comes back within an hour or two though. It chimes like an SMS when I get it.

Dec 2, 2014It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

Apr 6, 2012I dropped it under a running sink 3 weeks ago. Its been in rice since. Ive tried turing it on but it just stays on an apple logo. Now there a pieace of rice stuck in the charger hole so i can't connect to anything. I took it to apple the guy said since its water damaged $150 for a replacement. But ive heard that if i just say it wont turn on and not mention the water they'll replace it for free. Also the liquid indicators in the adaptor and headphone jack both havent turned red well it still looks white so... also it still under warranty. ^^^Please READ first^^^Will they be able to find out that its water damaged? I wont tell and the indicators are still white?For a free one what should i say? should i say in wont turn on? what they think its just outta charge and i cant charge it because that pieace of rice is impossible to take out.Will they be able to take the rice out? If not would the rice be a reason for a free replacement?Do you think they'll give me a free one?Will they give me an unlocked iPhone? I dont have at&t phone service anymore after this incident my dad canceled the service and is thinking of getting t-mobile.And lastly just for my curiosity. May 20, 2010I understand the maps don't support turn by turn voice guiding at this stage, but I thought ovi maps would at least be able to show a driving view instead of a birds eye view for navigation...Might be a bit of a lamens question, but if anyone could shed some light, I'd appreciate it. Once in BB Maps, click on the Start GPS Navigation, then the BB button, and choose track up. I put the zoom on 2 and it makes for a pretty good voice turn by turn free GPS.

I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.
