I have a Motorala CLiq - the first one, still running 1.5, recently i got a replacement for a reason i forgot, it worked fine till about 3 days ago, whenever i plug it itno the wall it doenst charge, or whenever i plug it in to the computer it doesnt even register i pluged something in.

iphone 4 won't turn on. I press top button and still nothing. I plug it in and there is a pic of plug and itunes logo. I hook it to my computer and itunes comes up and says it has detected a iphone in recovery mode. It asked if I want to restore so I hit restore button and it starts extracting. When done extracting, a messages comes up and says this iphone can not be restored error 1656. What can I do now? I bought this phone new in October. It has not been damaged in anyway. It started one morning after charging all night.

I can plug it in but it doesn't seem to recognize the plug...I've tried a couple of them now...no charging, no data transfer. I think the receptacle must be broken in the iPhone itself. It worked a couple of times after I started having the problem but doesn't seem to work at all now...my phone is slowly losing its charge so I need to do something today - because I can't be without a working phone.

It has been able to charge in the wall every time but when I tried to charge it this morning plugged it in the wall it did nothing. I tried 2 other outlets the same outcome. I bought an iphone 4s about a month ago. I noticed sometimes when the phone was plugged to the wall charger it did not display as if it was charging. Last week it started never charging unless it was plugged to the computer. I tried another iphone/ipad chargers with no luck, all of those devices did charge with my charger.

It only started happening 2 days ago. When I plug my iPhone 4 in to charge, either through the wall or plug the USB into the laptop, I'll get the same message, " Charging is not supported with this accessory". and it'll stop charging. I don't understand why. It'll work eventually but I have to pull it out and in a few times and not touch the phone until it's fully charged otherwise it'll stop charging and that message will pop up again.
I put my phone on charge last night and went to sleep. Woke up this morning and my phone was off! Dead! It didn't charge because this happened to it. I don't get what it is. Could it be I need a new charger? Because to be honest, the part that slides into the plug is bent a little and has rust and dirt inside it but I can't clean it because I can't get inside it. And the lead where the part is where you plug into the phone is a bit messed up but I haven't had a problem with it since 2 days ago.

My 3gs will now only turn on if it is plugged into the wall charger. When it finally turns on, it gives me the "Requires Activation" message then a screen comes up that says plug phone into itunes. View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout 3 days ago, my Torch decided it no longer wants to work with ANY wall charger, or car charger for that matter. I have been using it just fine for the past 6 months, and charging it just about every night, topping it off for a fresh charge for the morning.
Now, NO wall chargers work, simply no response. The ONLY way I can charge is via the USB cable and my laptop. This is VERY annoying and no one at the AT&T store seems to know what's going on.
I've tried all kinds of battery pulls and reboots - even upgraded to the latest software, downgraded back - NOTHING seems to be working!
What is the solution to this problem? How can I get it to charge again in my wall and car chargers?
Just discovered that my C5 cannot be charged using USB wall chargers. Tried apple,philips, belkin chargers- none of them work with C5. When plugged in, there is no notification or beep but a mild shock can be felt at the back cover! Strangely, it works fine with computer USB ports.

I had my ear buds ripped out of my phone recently by a jumping dog. Since then, the jack will not "seat" as securely as it used to. Also the start/stop/microphone that is in the earbud cord does not work at all. The jack seems that it is alnost all the way in, but won't seat all the way in. I'm sure that it can be fixed, but have looked inside the jack and do not see any debris inside that would impede the jack. Maybe the jack was damaged by the quick removal, but I cannot be without the phone for the time for Apple to fix it or Squaretrade (warranty) to replace it.
