I usually plug into a computer whenever I am at work or a lot of time at home, but I have recently discovered that I cant charge off my wall adapater anymore. I have tested multiple wall chargers, as well as multiple cables, and while they all work on a computer USB port, and the chargers can charge all my other devices fine (including a HP Touchpad that has higher power reqs than the phone), the phone refuses to charge off the wall. I have gone into the Android recovery and did a factory reset as well as clearing the cache, but no go.
My MotoACTV came without a wall charger. I have two available at home, on generic, that states an output of 5.0V+/- 5% ans 300mA +/- 30mA. The other is the iPad one, wich states an output of 5.1V and 2.1mA. Can one of these be used safely? I can't find specs for input charge in the device manual...
last night my phone just stopped recognizing every android wall fharger i have. 3 other android devices all work fine, only thing not charging is my x2. As of now the only way to charge it is by plugging it into my computers usb port.
I've ordered two Bionics - they havent arrived yet, but I've read two reports online that only the Moto wall charger works effectively for charging the phone. One person in particular couldn't get the phone past 40% charge without switching to the Moto charger.
This makes me think the myriad micro-USB cables and chargers I have at home, in my car, and at work (where I usually charge via USB) aren't going to work w/my Bionic, including a charging station/organizer I have conveniently located in my kitchen.
My iPhone will not charge with the wall charger it came with. The phone will charge with my car charger and when I connect it to the computer. Should I replace my wall charger, and how do I go about doing that?
my iPhone 4s won't turn on unless plug into wall charger, but after I did that my phone showed some things wrong like the clock changed to 7AM, no network service (keeping searching), wifi disabled (can't click), then a minute later it went freeze. What happen and what can I do? Now I'm out of country, What can I do?
My 3gs will now only turn on if it is plugged into the wall charger. When it finally turns on, it gives me the "Requires Activation" message then a screen comes up that says plug phone into itunes. Plugged into my Mac Computer, and doesnt even recognize it. Also immediately after taking phone off wall charger, it shuts off.
When I put my Atrix in my HD dock and the dock is powered on, the Atrix automatically brings up the widget clock in landscape. When the dock is powered off, nothing happens (screen stays off). Is there a way to start the widget clock mode manually -- I do not want to leave the Atrix charging all the time. I notice that there is an app to start the car dock view. Is there one to start the landscape clock widget? The Atrix is up to date running 2.3.4.
I thought I saw a setting that offered your choice for assigning a Wallpaper for the Homescreen and the Lockscreen separately, but now for the Life of me I cant find it. Is it available or am I getting confused with the SGS2? and if it is, I do I access it.?
I've had my N8 three weeks now, and the last few days I seem to have a problem charging the phone. When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. I also tried plugging the USB cord into an outlet via an USB adapter, and nothing happens.
I tried plugging the phone into my computer via to charge and it seems to be working at the moment..
But this is unacceptable. I will not be around a computer all the time. Why isn't my N8 detecting when I plug it in using the provided wall charger? Is this a hardware issue? Do I need to return/repair it? Is this a software issue and Nokia plans to fix it in an upcoming update?ve had my N8 three weeks now, and the last few days I seem to have a problem charging the phone. With all the problems bb having I tryed to reboot my mobile by pulling my battery, yes the battery was low but when I put it back in my phone was dead I have tried charging by usb and wall charger, my computer wont find it and I don't know what to do I also tried a new battery sill no good!
Out of nowhere my phone will not charge using the wall charger. It will charge using the computer usb connection. I hadn't had the computer usb hookup connected for a long time bit I downloaded some photos. Ever since the wall charger hasn't worked.
I hold a Nokia Lumia 800 phone. When I try to charge my phone using the electric/wall charger, the phone indicates that it is getting charged, however it isn't! The Diagnostics application confirms this. The phone does charge fine through my laptop.
I took my phone to the Nokia Care Centre and they replaced the charger. However, the problem still persists and Nokia Care now is completely clueless on what to do next.
Twice in the past week it seems like the charger (OEM Blackberry Wall Charger) actually killed the battery when charging overnite !! Put it on charger overnite as usual and the first time it happened i looked at the phone in the morning and it said something like "shutting down due to low battery" Put it on the car charger and finally powered back up but then would not recognize the media card, had to do a battery pull to get it back. Couple days later got some wierd "OS system failure" message in the morning but this time didn't lose the media card. Both times when i left the phone it showed that it was charging. Haven't left it on overnite anymore but seems to be fine when i use the charger for a short period.
I have a macbook pro and updated my blackberry to version 22.214.171.1243. after I've done this, the wall charger doesnt work on the blackberry anymore. The battry only gets charged when i connect it with the usb to the macbook. I bought a new wall charger, but the same problems remains. Whats strange is, that blackberry shows the flipping clock (as it always did when I connected it to the wall charger and it loaded the battery) plus it shows the blue charging symbol on the top left.Last night, when I got the red battery symbol I connected it to the wall charger again, but I went out because of low battery.whats also strange is, after I pull the battery and put it in again, i get the following error message after the blackberry has loaded: "Uncaught exception: Index 4 >=4"
My BB Curve 8520's battery charges so slow. I thought that maybe my battery is just so drained since I usually charge when my battery is dead. But i have noticed that in the succeeding days, it really charges so slow. And today, as i speak, is the worst.I have started charging at 10am and until now (time here in the Philippines is 3:30pm), it is still low battery. Thus, it has been 5 hours of charging.
(1) When connecting to wall-charger at night, device does not automatically enter bedside mode, even though specified in settings. When manually entering bedside mode, the screen goes black after several seconds; unplugging the device reveals that the device is in bedside mode, but isn't known because of black screen.(2) When connecting to USB-charger to my PC, the phone enters bedside mode and stays in bedside mode like it should.Device info9550Verizonv126.96.36.1995 (Bundle 1656, Platform 188.8.131.522)Apps and free spaceFile free before battery remove/replace: 116765295 Bytes File free after battery remove/replace: 118299711 BytesDid a battery pull fix your issue
my car has two slots for the car charger. One without a label and the other one labelled with 12V. When I plug it into the one without label my phone discharges even when plugged in, when I use music player and maps. Is that normal? I havn't dared to use the 12V one yet... can I do that or will it kill my phone? And if I can use it: Will it charge my phone even when I use it or will it be no help to switch the slot?
rapid recurrence of the "Disconnected Unplug your charger from the outlet to conserve energy" pop-up message on their Atrix homescreen? The last few days I've been getting this pop-up message quite often (every couple of seconds to sometimes a minute or so apart) while the phone is still plugged into the A/C wall charger. Occasionally it will remain on the screen for minutes at a time, and in fact one time I was able to catch a screenshot of it. The charge cycle is usually complete (90% to 100% indicated). Everything is stock - battery, wall charger, and non-rooted phone on 2.3.6. This is not a loose connection, as I've checked that. It seems to have started occurring around the time the Market was replaced with Google Play Store, and the subsequent update to 3.4.7 which fixed the App Drawer icon issue. Don't know why this would cause what I'm seeing, but just though I'd mention it.
My wife and I both have Atrix 4G phones. I frequently get a Popup window when I unplug the charger reminding me to unplug the charger. This happens both with my 12V to USB adapter plugged into my motorcycle and with the home charger from Motorola. Also, I lose the settings for my home wireless and have to re-enter everything. I've gotten notifications that I'm using up my data plan because I lose my wireless and emails then start downloading over the cell network without my knowing it. I'm about ready to get rid of the so called smart phone and go back to my basic cell phone.
I've had a Bionic since Day 1, charged it the same way, yadda yadda.Last night, I noticed it was no longer charging when I had it on the dock. So, I tried charging it from the wall directly, still not charging.Tried changing outlets, still no go.Plugged it into a USB charger, and it's working.I have it that way in the dock right now, but the old non-usb charger isn't working.Did it burn out? Is it resting?
I have a Motorala CLiq - the first one, still running 1.5, recently i got a replacement for a reason i forgot, it worked fine till about 3 days ago, whenever i plug it itno the wall it doenst charge, or whenever i plug it in to the computer it doesnt even register i pluged something in.
I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?
