Since yesterday my C7 will not charge through the wall charger. I have tried a different charger and different wall point. I have also tried cleaning the contacts.
The phone does charge through the USB cable with the PC though.
It is only one month old and bought from new on Orange contract. However I am not in the UK again until November.I have tried a different charger and different wall point.
I hold a Nokia Lumia 800 phone. When I try to charge my phone using the electric/wall charger, the phone indicates that it is getting charged, however it isn't! The Diagnostics application confirms this. The phone does charge fine through my laptop.
I took my phone to the Nokia Care Centre and they replaced the charger. However, the problem still persists and Nokia Care now is completely clueless on what to do next.
I've ordered two Bionics - they havent arrived yet, but I've read two reports online that only the Moto wall charger works effectively for charging the phone. One person in particular couldn't get the phone past 40% charge without switching to the Moto charger.
This makes me think the myriad micro-USB cables and chargers I have at home, in my car, and at work (where I usually charge via USB) aren't going to work w/my Bionic, including a charging station/organizer I have conveniently located in my kitchen.
My iPhone will not charge with the wall charger it came with. The phone will charge with my car charger and when I connect it to the computer. Should I replace my wall charger, and how do I go about doing that?
My MotoACTV came without a wall charger. I have two available at home, on generic, that states an output of 5.0V+/- 5% ans 300mA +/- 30mA. The other is the iPad one, wich states an output of 5.1V and 2.1mA. Can one of these be used safely? I can't find specs for input charge in the device manual...
I have an interesting problem: my Nokia 500 won't charge by using wall charger, even though I charged it day before. Charging by using USB is perfectly fine.
I've had my N8 three weeks now, and the last few days I seem to have a problem charging the phone. When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. I also tried plugging the USB cord into an outlet via an USB adapter, and nothing happens.
I tried plugging the phone into my computer via to charge and it seems to be working at the moment..
But this is unacceptable. I will not be around a computer all the time. Why isn't my N8 detecting when I plug it in using the provided wall charger? Is this a hardware issue? Do I need to return/repair it? Is this a software issue and Nokia plans to fix it in an upcoming update?ve had my N8 three weeks now, and the last few days I seem to have a problem charging the phone. When I plug in the wall charger, the phone fails to recognize that I plugged it in. No charging message, no beep, nothing. My BlackBerry Playbook's wall charger is no longer functioning.. Will I be able to get a free replacement? I'd call but apparantly BlackBerry charges thier customers for phone support..
With all the problems bb having I tryed to reboot my mobile by pulling my battery, yes the battery was low but when I put it back in my phone was dead I have tried charging by usb and wall charger, my computer wont find it and I don't know what to do I also tried a new battery sill no good!
my iPhone 4s won't turn on unless plug into wall charger, but after I did that my phone showed some things wrong like the clock changed to 7AM, no network service (keeping searching), wifi disabled (can't click), then a minute later it went freeze. What happen and what can I do? Now I'm out of country, What can I do?
Out of nowhere my phone will not charge using the wall charger. It will charge using the computer usb connection. I hadn't had the computer usb hookup connected for a long time bit I downloaded some photos. Ever since the wall charger hasn't worked.
last night my phone just stopped recognizing every android wall fharger i have. 3 other android devices all work fine, only thing not charging is my x2. As of now the only way to charge it is by plugging it into my computers usb port.
Twice in the past week it seems like the charger (OEM Blackberry Wall Charger) actually killed the battery when charging overnite !! Put it on charger overnite as usual and the first time it happened i looked at the phone in the morning and it said something like "shutting down due to low battery" Put it on the car charger and finally powered back up but then would not recognize the media card, had to do a battery pull to get it back. Couple days later got some wierd "OS system failure" message in the morning but this time didn't lose the media card. Both times when i left the phone it showed that it was charging. Haven't left it on overnite anymore but seems to be fine when i use the charger for a short period.
I have a macbook pro and updated my blackberry to version 5.0.0.593. after I've done this, the wall charger doesnt work on the blackberry anymore. The battry only gets charged when i connect it with the usb to the macbook. I bought a new wall charger, but the same problems remains. Whats strange is, that blackberry shows the flipping clock (as it always did when I connected it to the wall charger and it loaded the battery) plus it shows the blue charging symbol on the top left.Last night, when I got the red battery symbol I connected it to the wall charger again, but I went out because of low battery.whats also strange is, after I pull the battery and put it in again, i get the following error message after the blackberry has loaded: "Uncaught exception: Index 4 >=4"
My BB Curve 8520's battery charges so slow. I thought that maybe my battery is just so drained since I usually charge when my battery is dead. But i have noticed that in the succeeding days, it really charges so slow. And today, as i speak, is the worst.I have started charging at 10am and until now (time here in the Philippines is 3:30pm), it is still low battery. Thus, it has been 5 hours of charging.
I usually plug into a computer whenever I am at work or a lot of time at home, but I have recently discovered that I cant charge off my wall adapater anymore. I have tested multiple wall chargers, as well as multiple cables, and while they all work on a computer USB port, and the chargers can charge all my other devices fine (including a HP Touchpad that has higher power reqs than the phone), the phone refuses to charge off the wall. I have gone into the Android recovery and did a factory reset as well as clearing the cache, but no go.
My 3gs will now only turn on if it is plugged into the wall charger. When it finally turns on, it gives me the "Requires Activation" message then a screen comes up that says plug phone into itunes. Plugged into my Mac Computer, and doesnt even recognize it. Also immediately after taking phone off wall charger, it shuts off.
(1) When connecting to wall-charger at night, device does not automatically enter bedside mode, even though specified in settings. When manually entering bedside mode, the screen goes black after several seconds; unplugging the device reveals that the device is in bedside mode, but isn't known because of black screen.(2) When connecting to USB-charger to my PC, the phone enters bedside mode and stays in bedside mode like it should.Device info9550Verizonv5.0.0.1015 (Bundle 1656, Platform 4.2.0.442)Apps and free spaceFile free before battery remove/replace: 116765295 Bytes File free after battery remove/replace: 118299711 BytesDid a battery pull fix your issue
I bought an iphone 4s about a month ago. I noticed sometimes when the phone was plugged to the wall charger it did not display as if it was charging. Last week it started never charging unless it was plugged to the computer. I tried another iphone/ipad chargers with no luck, all of those devices did charge with my charger.
It only started happening 2 days ago. When I plug my iPhone 4 in to charge, either through the wall or plug the USB into the laptop, I'll get the same message, " Charging is not supported with this accessory". and it'll stop charging. I don't understand why. It'll work eventually but I have to pull it out and in a few times and not touch the phone until it's fully charged otherwise it'll stop charging and that message will pop up again.
I put my phone on charge last night and went to sleep. Woke up this morning and my phone was off! Dead! It didn't charge because this happened to it. I don't get what it is. Could it be I need a new charger? Because to be honest, the part that slides into the plug is bent a little and has rust and dirt inside it but I can't clean it because I can't get inside it. And the lead where the part is where you plug into the phone is a bit messed up but I haven't had a problem with it since 2 days ago.
Just discovered that my C5 cannot be charged using USB wall chargers. Tried apple, philips, belkin chargers- none of them work with C5. When plugged in, there is no notification or beep but a mild shock can be felt at the back cover! Strangely, it works fine with computer USB ports.
had my wildfire for a week and so far very pleased with all functions while but charging with the wall charger last night i noticed i could not get into the phone it was a blank screen so i unplugged the wall charger and the red notification light was still on but screen was blank so i took the battery out and put it back in the device. then it booted up ok
I've recently purchased within the last 2 weeks the Blackberry Bold 9780. For some reason I can't get the phone to charge in any Car using the 12v cigarette lighter. I've had no issues with charging it from the Mains and the USB port on a PC. When plugging into the Cigarette lighter, the charger's LED lights up to indicate that there is power being received to the charging unit and after inserting the mini USB connection into the Phone, I get the connection bleep and the clock appears, however after all of this I still get no charging indicator on the battery. Also sometimes when I re-connect the cable I get the below message from the phone:
`Some USB hubs might not provide enough power. Plug the hub into a power outlet (if available) and re-connect your Blackberry device. Try connecting to another USB port (different computer, USB hub or travel charger). Verify that your USB cable is securely connected to your Blackberry device and USB port. Verify that your Computer is standby, hibernate or sleep mode. Verify that Blackberry device USB drivers are installed on your Computer`.
I've now tried three different car chargers all supported by Blackberry - I've sinced purchased one of the Mini USB Chargers that plug into the Cigarette lighter Mini-USB cables - still the same issue... I've tried charging in other cars - also my wife owns a HTC Wildfire and she's able to charge her phone from the Mini USB charger I have recently purchased.
I've spoken to Orange who don't seem to have heard of any issues like this - I've since asked Orange to replace the phone which I'm hoping to receive within the next 24hrs...
I have a 3rd party charger, that charges fine my phone, Kindle etc. It's able to do 2,5A (5V) on output. But when I connect it to PB nothing happens, the screen lights up, but the battery is not charging. I think the problem is not because of not enough amps, it's more than original wall charger. But I have no idea what's the problem... Is it too much amps and PB, instead of using just what's needed, will just disconnect the charger at all?
My Lumia 950 doesn't charge well on the CR-201 in car charger. It connects and disconnects every 10 seconds or so, making usual chime, when it connects with monotonous regularity. That's makes a nuisance when bluetooth streaming as the chimes stream too. Flicking to ringer off stops that though.
It charges fine using the DT-910 desk standing charger. So I don't think it's a case issue, though I have a Mozo case on order.
