My blackberry torch got discharged yesterday and it wont just re-charge. I kept it overnight to charge but no joy, tried a different charger but no juice . After some fiddling I see the red light on the device when I plug-in my charger and see the lightning symbol for a few seconds before it gives way to an empty battery with a red cross. I have tried this procedure various times but no joy.

I can see where it is supposed to go (to the left of the on/off switch) on the top edge of the handset but, there there is a covering over the jack with a usb symbol on it. Touch screen- I know 100% its not the digitizers fault as I have changed it to another one and it still the same thing #probably logic board problem I tryed hard booting and itunes doesnt reconise I t was water damaged but fixed, when the water damage was fixed the touch screen still didn't work.

I hook it to my computer and itunes comes up and says it has detected a iphone in recovery mode. It asked if I want to restore so I hit restore button and it starts extracting. I can plug it in but it doesn't seem to recognize the plug...I've tried a couple of them now...no charging, no data transfer. I think the receptacle must be broken in the iPhone itself. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? I had my ear buds ripped out of my phone recently by a jumping dog. Since then, the jack will not "seat" as securely as it used to. Also the start/stop/microphone that is in the earbud cord does not work at all. The jack seems that it is alnost all the way in, but won't seat all the way in. I'm sure that it can be fixed, but have looked inside the jack and do not see any debris inside that would impede the jack. Maybe the jack was damaged by the quick removal, but I cannot be without the phone for the time for Apple to fix it or Squaretrade (warranty) to replace it.

So I have the Iphone 4 with the new IOS 5.1. Ever since I downloaded the operating system to my phone, Itunes crashes when I plug my phone into my computer. the itunes app on my phone works fine, but is frustrating because I have many movies and music stored on my computer that I cannot get to because of this freezing issue. Before I had updated to the most recent IOS it worked just fine. you would think that apple would have fixed this issue by now because I am not the only one with this problem.
