i have had my samsung slyde for not even i year and i have taken it in three times for repairs with the software crashing, another girl there has the same phone and was taken it in for the same problems. has anyone else had the same problem?

Picked up my S6 almost 2 weeks ago and the AC app crashes on me several times a day. This never happened with my old Droid DNA. Clearing the app data didn't work, neither did reinstalling.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a new phone, the Samsung Galaxy s6. I was really excited as I had heard nothing but good things.
Unfortunately the reality is very disappointing. My phone restarts itself all the time (6x in the last hour alone) and there are constant 'Unfortunately app x has stopped working' messages (15 in the last hour). The applications that crash are everything from FB to the keyboard to the Play Store, nothing consistent.
I have tried starting in safe mode to check if it was a third party app causing the problem, deleting the app cache, wiping the cache partition, a soft reset, a hard factory reset. Unfortunately nothing works and the problems continue.
I'm running Android version 5.1.1
Im trying to update my firmware through kies, but it just stops at around 13% done for ages and then tells me the operation has timed out.

The phone laggs A LOT, randomly freezes, takes forever to send text's etc. The phoen is unlocked and is being used with BELL. My question is, who can I contact with regards to warranty repairs? Is there a way to contact RIM directly? or do I have to go through one of the providers?

After I realize that when I was able to text to my girlfriend, it seems that her messages or her reply could not easily sent. It takes almost 15 minutes then all her txt will pop out. I mean it. All of it like 18 message or more and what worst is that same message only. When I ask her how many times you send this message, she said 1 time only. It never happens once only but it happens everyday. I already check the settings but there's no problem with it. At first I thought it was just a network error or something to do with network but when my girlfriend decide to change phone with me and with different SIM card, the problem is still arising and it is confirm its not something to do with the network. View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Galaxy S2 on the 21st of July from Carphone Warehouse on a new contract (Panther 30). I've been with Orange for a few years now but it was time for an upgrade.Ever since I've had the phone, I recieve duplicate txt messages from anyone who txts me. It could be Iphone users, Blackberry users, other networks, you name it. I even get multiple txt messages from competetions (you know, when you try win all that gear on The Gadget Show and they send a conformation txt acknowledging your entry). I can recieve up to 5-6 of the same txt message throughout the day (they usually come in quite quickly) and I can even get them days after me first recieveing the original.I went back to Carphone Warehouse for their help but they suggested I rang Orange first to find out if it was a network problem or handset issue.Orange were useless at first but then I got through to technical support team 2. An action was opened and so we tried different solutions.
1. Factory reset of the handset. Didn't work.
2. Put my SIM card into another phone (Samsung D500). Suprisingly this worked and I didn't recieve any duplicates the whole day, which indicated it was indeed a handset problem. We agreed that I should go back to Carphone Warehouse and get a new handset but if the problem continued then I should get back in contact with the same chap in techincal support team 2.
3. Went off to Carphone Warehouse. Got the new handset. Unfortunatly the problem remained. It actually got much worse!
4. Got back in contact with the chap at Orange and he could see on his system that there were error codes and that the recieved txt messages weren't recognized at being recieved, therefore would be sent again and again. All the information we had was sent off the tech boffins at Orange to see if they could think of a solution.
5. Finally Orange came back with an answer, which was that I should try a new SIM card (register it and everything). So they sent one, which has only arrived this morning (took 8days). I've recieved the Orange txt that should come within 24hours and then deleted it and turned the phone off. BUT NO! This hasn't worked either. I've already recieved duplicate txt messages from someone. Three of one, and two of another txt.
I usually have 3bars to full signal where I am so it's not as though poor signal is causing this. Everyone else in the house is on Orange too and doesn't have this same problem. I never did either on my old Nokia 5800. It doesn't just happen at home though. I could be anywhere.

my 8520 curve won't read it's SD card? i know it's definitely not the card as my wife just got a new BB also and it came with a brand new card that can't be read either. Thought i could live with it. but can't. You can't have any music, video content etc. My first blackberry died in a pint of guiness (don't ask), i took the sd card out before the insurance claim and had my fingers crossed that it would have survived the black death, but when my new replacement BB came it couldn't read the card. which i thought was down to the black stuff - initially.However since then i've tried different cards leaving me to believe i may still have the data on the original and that the phone or card reader is cream-crackered?

Rogers tells me that there's nothing they can/will do, except sell me a new phone. Since that's not an option, does anyone know where the phone can get repaired at? Rogers was no help at all.It's a sharp nick out of the plastic at the top, actually sharp to the touch. The screen and everything else is ok.I don't know what to do here, the phone is new and I don't want to spend another $400 to buy it considering I just got it 2 months ago!

Went into my local VF shop and they said to check there has not been a never firmware update but Kies finds nothing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

The phone's trackball doesnt work(clicking the trackball scrolls up), and the volume up doesn't work either. I'm not really going to use the phone as cellular device, but I would rather just have it on my desk as a souvenir...in working condition as a backup.So I've decided to buy a new housing for it, probably fixing the trackball problem, and then this is where I'm not sure. Would the new housing fix the volume bar problem also? Or would I have to actual replace parts on the phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just got a G920F from an aunt at UK, so I have a Vodafone version of the phone, but when I received it, every app is crashing, I mean every app. Like Facebook, Google Play, Google+, Messenger, Instagram, everything.
I tried flashing the stock rom so I flashed G920FXXU2POGJ, a vodafone 5.1.1 stock rom and it still crashes. Btw the camera doesn't crash so it's okay. But everytime I use facebook, shareit, app crashes. So, flashing the stock rom wasn't useful. The next thing I did was flashing G920FXXU2BOFJ, a UK international 5.1.1, because I assume I cant downgrade the android version (just like in i9505). and everything still crashes.
Mail app constantly crashing? I have 2 accounts on mine, a hotmail account and an exchange account. I do have the exchange account set to all mail instead of just a few weeks. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. 30 days just isn't going to cut it, so All mail it was.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSince I replaced my Iphone 4S - 64 GB for a new one due to broken screen, my Iphone has been crashing with the use of any app, e-mail, and anything else. I spent most of the last weekend doing what Apple asked me to do. Soft reset, hard reset, restore to factory settings, open it in security/recovery mode, and anything else. After all this, I still can not read e-mail, or check facebook, or add new contact, play music over bluetooth, or any other function on Iphone other than place calls.

I am trying to connect/synch my N97 to PC's running Windows XP or Vista. Generally the app crashes shortly after synchronizing a few items or right at the start. Also, when I connect the phone the system continues to "find" an MTP device and keeps asking for a reboot. I regret to say that this is an extremely disappointing piece of software by a worldwide maker. It is painfully slow to download and install, and in the end it does not even work.

1. Before, I have been using the nokia internet services support plug ins (2 of them - web services internet support package and nokia internet services support package) version 1.07. I updated from the previous version 1's because i read to do this on nokia's conversation application installation instructions. i noticed that going back to the version 1 is best since it allows me to now be able to send a voice message when i was never able to do this before.
2. my Jbaktaskman is always crashing now with the new FW.does anyone else have the same expriences or have found a solution to this?
i really wish that there would be one FW that would just make everything else work great. NASA is letting go of some engineers. Nokia, pay whatever you need to to get a flawless FW package out there. Otherwise, i go to apple.

I purchased my Nokia E72 around 4-6 months ago and I love it as a phone. It does everything I need it to.
The problem I have is that it doesnt receive incoming calls 100% of the time or let me do outgoing 100% of the time. It randomly hangs or crashes and does not allow the incoming/outgoing calls. When it is like this I can use my phone with every other function possible and there is no sign that it isnt working.
The only time I can see that there is a problem is when I switch it off and on again and then I have many "Missed call" messages popping through.
Therefore I miss many calls for personal and business and I need to swithc my phone off and on maybe 3 times a day.
I dont understand why it does this as I have never dropped or damaged the phone in any way.
After using the phone for about a few weeks, it's crashing at start-up. I'm using the latest firmware, but when it starts up, the white screen appears with the NOKIA logo, and the phone stays like that. I have already done:
* Hard reset with death grip
* Format mass memory
* Reinstall firmware
Even when i don't install any 3rd party apps, it still has this problem. Its very ennoying cuz i have to a hard reset to get the phone working, and in about a week it has the same problem all over again. So i have to hard reset every week!
please help my firefox keep getting crashing when i try to open it, even i try by removing n re-installing it but same error. any1 know how to resolve it?
