Jul 17, 2012I wrongly did wipe my Lumia 800 (059M359).From there, everytime I configure my device, and begin to transfer more data to it (like 2, or 3 GB data), it freezes... and when I restart it (just pressing power button), it comes back totally empty (like a hard reset).
Not surprising, I found another guy who has exalt the same problem. The only difference is that he has initiated the wipe on Windowsphone website, and me at OWA website.
I took the device to the Nokia Care Point last Saturday, got it today, where they have updated firmware and OS version. But, again, when I started uploading data to it, it stopped working again, and I lost all my daily configuration.

I can access the device from Desktop Manager, and I can run exe.Autoloader/factoryreset from the Windows command prompt.
However, this does not remove the Verizon phone number from the device. Verizon won't work with the phone because the screen is cracked.
What's the correct way to wipe the Verizon data from the command prompt?

May 13, 2015I have searched for Galaxy S6 GPS problems in google, and I have noticed that some owners experience a lot of signal loss/searching in their phones. What I have found annoying in my case is that whenever the GPS signal is lost, Google Maps puts me in a wrong location that I have not been to for a while. I have lived in that location before, but I have since moved and no longer stay there. I have purchased the phone after moving.
After a bit of experimenting I came to the conclusion that the building I currently live in blocks the GPS signal, since whenever I am in the balcony/near a window I get a signal and I'm put in the correct location in Google Maps. As soon as the signal is lost, Maps automatically puts me in that old location. This has also effected Google Now where I'm given incorrect travel times, but not my weather location (set on current).
I have set 'Home' to my new location, I have also tried deleting my location history from google, tried a few GPS fixing apps, reinstalling Maps, and also installing other map applications like Here and Waze, which behave the same way and give me the same old location as my current.
At first I thought it could be a GPS hardware defect in the galaxy, but I turned on my old HTC One (M8) and it acted and behaved in the same way putting me in my old location. So it seems to me there's something in the Android OS perhaps since Here and Waze act in the same way. I also tested with the Maps app on iPhone 6 and it gave the correct location although not 100% accurately. So is there anyway I can make Maps at least remember my last location before signal loss?
It is also absurd that my laptop can pinpoint my correct location while connected on Wifi while my phone with GPS, wifi and cell network cannot, which in conclusion seems like an android bug or something with location history in my google account which as I said already tried deleting the whole history.
Also note that the GPS and Maps work perfectly fine whenever I'm outside the building and I have location discovery on GPS, Wifi and cell network.
BB Curve 83xx :: Phone Completely Stops Giving Alerts?
May 19, 2010For some reason, about every other day, my bb completely stops alerting. It is set to ring, but stops ringing for phone, email, bbm, gtalk, sms everything. A battery pull seems to solve the problem temporarily, but it is getting irritating. Any ideas? Oh, and I am back on a curve, gave up my storm.

1. Power off phone.
2. Press Volume Down & Power.
3. Click Reboot to Bootloader.
4. Click Boot to Recovery Mode.
After extensive researching and contacting HTC directly, I found out that I am supposed to get a few options where one of them is 'Wipe Cache Partition'. However, all I get is a black screen for a few secods, then an icon of my phone with an exclamation mark on it. That appears for about a minute, after that the phone reboots.
Any reason that's not working? I'm running Lollipop 5.1 and Sense 7.0.

Sep 14, 2015So my wife in her infinite wisdom, bought a Galaxy S6 off some guy at her work to replace my aging HTC M8. The catch being that he forgot his Samsung credentials, so he couldn't log in, and therefore is selling the phone to make up for his stupidity.Before buying it, she checked the IMEI and its clear, along with the fact that the guy had all the original stuff that came with it, and it was almost brand new.
Now my question is, how can I bypass this? How can everything be erased for this isn't an issue? I've odined it to a fresh ROM, even Nand Erase All, but its still stuck with it. I know previous versions there was ways around it, but I can't seem to find one with this.Currently running AT&T build G920AUCU2AOF3, which I believe is 5.0.2.

When the maximum attempts had been used, the phone went through wiping and my phone was totally reset. My BBM listing and contact listing were all lost and even my BBM pin was changed. My phone was previously backed up on my computer but the computer is identifying my phone as a different divice. is there any way to get my computer to load my contact lists on the phone after it had been wiped in this way?

Since I've already activated my new phone, if I use ADM it finds my new phone and not my old phone.

Last Monday night, I called the phone not too long after it was stolen and it went straight to voicemail. Later that night I suspended service. I went ahead and called the insurance I have for the phone and got another s5 delivered on Wednesday for a $99 deductible. I activated the phone that evening and it's been working fine since then.
I tried installing android device manager app on my new s5 and it wasn't able to locate my stolen s5 and my current s5.

2 days ago my friend brought his 9700 for me to upgrade OS. I used security wipe, then tried using BBSAK to wipe the OS and it asked for password. Then I used AppLoder to install the new OS and it asked for password again.

Like many others, my request to erase is still pending, is that just because they have not connected to wifi? And if he/she goes weeks without accessing wifi does this mean he/she can see all personal information on there?
