I have two usbs in my car. One directly to my audio system and other is a cigarette lighter to usb (2.1amp). Both won't charge my BB9900 but it charged my BB9360 curve and my friends BB8300..
On the usb connected to the radio i get a pop up saying this usb doesn't have enough power to charge, on the inverter (Cigarette lighter to usb) nothing happens as if the USB isn't connected to anything.
My Bold 9900 loses power and can not get recharged, I tried to remove battery also reset unfortunately not working. I got this phone a couple of months ago.

Suddenly without updating anything i plugged it in my computer to charge it and as soon as i connect the connector the phone shuts down with the red light flashing. I reopen the phone to charge it into the wall... Same thing as soon as the connecter enters, phone crash. So I have no way to charge it. I thought it was a battery default so I bought a new battery. Same thing happen, In anything i try to connect the phone it crashes. I wanted to reset the OS but how can i do it if i cant plug the phone.

Last night my 9900 died. I plugged it in to charge it and when I woke up this am the screen was black and the red light was flashing intermittantly. I have tried pulling the battery, I have tried connecting it to desktop manager.
I really do not want to lose all my contacts as I use this device for work.
My phone just couldn't charge and before the battery died, my phone said that it was using too much power to charge. I bought my HTC One from Phones 4u last September and to my luck, when my phone has problems, the company stops functioning. I have tried using different cables/plugs to charge but to no avail.
I emailed HTC and they haven't replied after 3 days. I'm not entirely sure what are the procedures for sending my phone for repairs, but I will definitely call them soon if they don't reply.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a N97 that charges OK when I plug it in computers USB port or in a (powered) hub.But I also have a USB power adapter that I can plug in a wall socket and it has one USB port (5V/1A) and nothing happens.Same happens when I plug it in my car using a USB adapter.
Since every other phone/MP3-player/device that can be charged via USB works with these, I have to assume that this is something with my phone...
had my phone for 3 days now, i noticed that charging it was kinda annoying from a dead phone, last night it died and i was going to do a full charge cycle, i put it on change before i went to bed, it vibrated to say its connect and i left it, woke up this morning unplugged and it wouldnt turn on so i left it a couple of minutes and tryed again still nothing, i tried plugging it to my computer and it came up saying i need some drivers and need to format the phone i ignored it, the battery symbol came up then the vodafone screen left it for a while then tried turning it on again and nothing just black, not vibes or nothing, now i dont even get a vibe when i plug it into my my computer or power source....

It's served me well, but my poor Nexus 5 has seen it's last days it appears. It didn't quite make it 2 years, but I still don't regret it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have had my 9900 for just over a year after upgrade from a 9000. I loved the phone until two weeks ago I did a upgrade to Blackberry Appworld. Once the upgrade completed it asked for a restart and then the phone became a brick. It would not restart and the red light just flashes. After contacting support and following suggestions to try and make the phone connect to the desktop software without success I took the phone back to Rogers who sent it away to the repair shop. The result... not able to be repaired. Somehow this is now the customers problem because something that no one can identify went wrong with the software upgrade process. No support from Blackberry just what Rogers has to offer which is that I can do an early upgrade to another phone for more money.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use my 9900 for listening to music whilst running, yesterday it rained and although it was in my pocket there was a lot of moisture on the phone (yes my fault I know) anyway phone was working OK then it went off so I took the back off made sure the battery area was dry and it started up OK. I though all was well till I plugged it in to the mains charger when it switched off and now won't start. Also after around 20 seconds there is a battery icon with a red cross come up over it ?I have taken it apart and it all appeared dry but it refuses to start, I have tried plugging it in to PC with USB and mails lead and neither make a difference. Still no charge, but this time, at least the charging light came on for a very short time. Since I have very small crack in the screen, they say the warranty is voided. View 10 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I need to reboot/reset my i760 (Winmob 6.1, Spb Shell) it will not finish the boot cycle. I turn it on, I get the Samsung logo, the dark blue static Verizon wireless screen, then it about a half a second into the next screen (where the Verizon wireless logo "floats" down to a light blue screen) the system powers off. You can just see the red check in the logo start to draw and head down and the system just goes off.I thought I had solved it by pulling the battery for about 30 seconds, but now that doesn't fix the problem anymore. The only way to make the phone power on is to connect it to a power source (charger or cradle). Then it powers on normally.It does not matter the charge on the battery at the moment - I've had it do it any charge level, including 100% just off a overnight charge. This battery will normally last me 2 days of hard use.Any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months ago and I never had problems charging my device. But just the other day, when i got home and charged it, when i woke up, Led - RED light blinking and wont turn on. I used a different charger ( brand new) but still the same. I tried connecting it to my laptop to charge but still, no good. BB desktop says that device was not connected (obviously since it has no power). I searched online and tried the "kickstart" they're saying where in I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove battery for 10 mins and put the battery back and wait for another 2 hrs - still no good . Although when i tried that, I saw the charging icon for a few secs during the first 2 hrs but didnt see it again.
Has anyone got a suggestion? Would you know if I need to replace my battery or have this fixed? We dont have BB service center here in the Phillipines. Dealer would normally send the device to Singapore to have it checked/fixed. I cant afford not to have my phone because of my job and I have files stored in it..<sigh>
my bold 9900 screen will only work when on charge.when unplugged it freezes,goes dull and wont respond.if you plug it back in it still does not work. it wont turn off.if you leave it to go flat or remove battery then plug it in it turns on again!

I removed the battery to reset it and now a red LCD light is flashing and the phone starts to turn on you know when you first turn it on and it says blackberry then the line starts to load it just keeps doing that! I can't go to my network provider at the moment because im in Australia!
