I just updated the software for my Nokia X6 and it came with the 'quickoffice' application, when I try to use it, says that I do not have application license and asks if I want to purchase it or continue, when a click continue, it does not do anything, so I assume I have to buy the license, is that true? Cannot use it without license?

The installation log shows both these programs installed on 18/08/11 when I upgraded to Symbian Anna but their icons don't appear in my apps.ACTION TAKE SO FAR
1) tried reinstalled firmware through Ovi suite - failed to have programs
2) advanced date on phone to 22/10/11 and using software update on phone... updates appeared for Symbian Anna 1/2 and 2/2 and installation appeared to take place. However, no icon for Quickoffice or PDF.
3) If I go to settings > application manager > installed apps then Adobe Reader LE version 10.00(245) is listed as being on C: phonememory and Quickoffice 6.04(460) on C: phonememory
I am using Nokia 5233 and recently i tried to install Adobe reader and quick office. But i got message like "application not supported".Kindly advice me whether is it possible to install adobe and quick office in 5233 or not.

I just finished applying all the Anna updates and am still missing Quickoffice and PDF viewer. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to get them back?Not sure if this matters but I had the paid version of Quickoffice. Since I installed that a while ago I am thinking the Quickoffice in the Anna update is a newer version.

But when attempting to update catalogue it says cataloguye update fails and now my quick office version reads UNKNOWN VERSION.And still unable to update my ctalogue which is needed to update the quick office to version 6.Can anyone help me on this?And do E72 users need to download anything to enjoy free maps? Before I installed the update, I did a back up of my phone contents. Now, after the update I can't restore the backup because the phone keeps restarting. My Ovi Suite is the latest version (v2.1.1.1). Is this a known issue and when will Nokia be releasing a patch for this update to fix the issue?

was fully charged when i went to bed, 8 hrs later without use its a 1/4 down. now through the day at work using it everynow n again for text message im down to 1/4 left.
I need an alternative to iSmartDialer. Purchased this software for my 3GS same time ago and ended up having to purchase a second copy so it would work on my fiancées phone too. At one point I restored and couldn't find the code and iSmartDialer customer service gave me hell retrieving my key. Now we both have iPhone 4's and the application is telling me 1 code to 1 device without a transfer option. Going to their website, it actually says NO transfers. Kind of funny considering back when we purchased it didn't say anything about no transfers nor did rockyourphone.com.
So at this point, I am not paying another cent to this dirty company and advise others not to either unless you like to buy the application everytime you get a new device. With that said, I am looking for a simple dialing application that will allow me to save contacts to the number pad. So, when you hold #1 for example it calls whoever you have assigned to that key. Anyone know of an application like that?
Can't seem to revert to OS 5 coz my desktop software (fully up to date) can't seem to connect to the device. The USB connection worked perfectly 10 minutes ago before I upgraded to 6. My problem is that I can't use the trackpad to click accept on the licence agreement, the trackpad seems dead itself, can't scroll or anything and the agreement is on the screen all the time..

But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? I cannot move around the window and I cannot get to and tick where it is presumably asking me to 'agree'. All I can think of doing is uninstalling Kies and reinstalling the presumably new version. 2. The unit is currently with 4.54.61, according to the forum there is an update that was released in early Jan. When I try to update using the update feature in the motocast USB software I get a message that there is no available update and the unit has the latest firmware. how or where to get the update?
I've just purchase the X10 mini pro. Really impressed with it so far. However, when i try and open 'Office Suite' which was pre-installed on the phone it tells me there is an update availalbe and to continue i need to download this. When i select the 'update' button, the process begins but after a few seconds i get an error message saying 'installation failed'. I've had no problems opening any of the other pre-installed apps, and have downloaded some from Android Market with no problems.
