I opened my back up file (.sbf) and was affronted with this error message. "Cannot read selected backup file". I've tried downloading OI file manager and it doesn't open through there either. Is my back up lost?

May 6, 2011My school uses ICA files to access programs. When I click launch app from the website it will prompt to only download and save the launch.ica file in firefox. I then proceed to click the downloaded file from firefox download window but then citrix gives me a cant read file error.
I currently have away around this by creating a custom .desktop file so that I can launch it using the file manager. Originally the file manager did not recognize what to use to open a .ica file. Not sure why it cant launch the file through firefox.

Jan 2, 2010I bought my mini just 10 days back and today I thought of playing some videos. To my surprise whenever I try playing a video it says something like. "playing partial video .....and only shows a black screen with sound. Not ony it happens with stored videos that it came with, even the new videos taken from its own camera behaves same way. No video only sound. Is anything wrong with my firmware or soething I'm having v10.0.20. I chose this phone for its multimedia capabilities

Its annoying when im trying to record something, Sometimes it will reflect off surfaces.. Also the Camera Shutter noise is annoying.. Interrupts silence when i want to take pictures , At special events.Is there a way to Disable these 2 things?

Jun 18, 2012I have a major problem with my Xperia Ray at the moment, it just refuses to read my SIM card. In fact, it doesn't even ask me for my PIN number, it just boots as normal but I have no connection to any network. I've tried using the SIM card in another phone and it works fine, therefore the problem is with the phone itself.I'd recently had my phone network & bootloader unlocked by wotanserver using the test point method - because of this I thought the DRM keys would be fine (e.g. TrackId & Timescape still worked). However, when I was updating from GB .42 to .62 OTA (to flash a GB ROM) my phone brickedSo, I searched high and low for a solution and ended up using s1tool to restore the locked bootloader. Then I used flashtool to flash a stock ICS ftf file. It seemed to work (the phone rebooted) but it was then I noticed that the SIM card wasn't being recognised. Also, in the Flashtool log I noticed that a blue line was there saying 'this file is ignored simlock.ta'I've tried everything I can think of to fix this.
