I'm using the real player to stream a bbc radio station, it's streaming at 64 bit rate, however my friend has a e71 the same link using real player stream at only 20 bit rate (a third). Does anyone know how to adjust this (as it's costing me 3 times as much). The only difference I can see is the real player version, where can I download older versions of real player or can someone recommend an apps will can stream.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just uploaded a movie (*.m4v) to my phone in a directory I made called movies on my SD and the video player can't find it. It only says 'No Videos' How come? I even tried to move the movie to the / but that didn't help.When I use a file explorer there is no problem finding the movies and playing them, but the phones movie player can't find them. how I can get the movie player to list my movies so I can play them without using a file explorer to find the movies first?

A few days ago the video player stopped displaying the mini controller (play/pause, rewind, forward) at the bottom of the screen and I can no longer swipe to control volume or brightness like I used to. It does this for all types of videos, whether they are my own or ones streaming from the internet. How can I get this feature back? I'm not sure what I did to make it go away!

I had some avi files that were choppy in every video player and the only media player that played them smoothly using software compression was MX Player. Also I noticed that MX player would allow you to software decode video and audio seperatly, meaning you can use hardware decode for video and software decode for audio.

View 19 Replies View Relatedwell out of the blue my storm has quit streaming video altogether. i get the error occurred while attempting to play media message. whether its the mobile Internet site, or any site that will stream videos. they just wont work. i have java enabled, i have it set as blackberry browser. i've rebooted my phone several times to no avail. quadruple checked every setting i know and nothing has changed from when it worked till now. i have a 9550 running seans 451 hybrid. Internet did work when i installed this hybrid also. the newest app that i've installed is pattern lock. but Internet videos worked right after i installed that back a week ago. i would really appreciate it if someone could provide insight as to what's wrong. i'd rather not re install my os unless neccescary.
