Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Music Player File Edit?
Jan 6, 2011If you download music in mp3 format from, say, TubeMate, it gives you the chance to enter the artist and the album etc in an update box when you do it. The subject is usually the title it brought with it. However, you can leave these blank of course.
Unfortunately, having stored them, I can't find a way back in to edit this information. I downloaded some stuff and didn't bother with the artist to start with as it was in the title. However, if you don't enter the artist then the track doesn't appear in the alphabetic list.
how to get back the fields to edit? I've read all the manuals I can find on the X10 mini pro, and I know that a long press does different things to a quick tap, but I've tried everything and failed.

Dec 14, 2010I just uploaded a movie (*.m4v) to my phone in a directory I made called movies on my SD and the video player can't find it. It only says 'No Videos' How come? I even tried to move the movie to the / but that didn't help.When I use a file explorer there is no problem finding the movies and playing them, but the phones movie player can't find them. how I can get the movie player to list my movies so I can play them without using a file explorer to find the movies first?

Jul 11, 2011I have several MP4 encoded movie files that played perfectly with my DX but won't play with the default Video Player app on my DX2. It gives me the error: File cannot be displayed or played.MoboPlayer, a third party video player, will play the files fine. QuickPic's player will not. Nor will the bundled app RockPlayer Lite.I reformatted the SD card within the DX2 (it was the same 16 GB card that I took from my DX) before I transferred any video files to it.Anyone have any ideas about what I can try? I would rather use the default Video Player app.Also, the playback using MoboPlayer seems a bit choppy. I was expecting much smoother playback on the DX2 with it's dual core processor and improved graphics accelerator hardware.

A few days ago the video player stopped displaying the mini controller (play/pause, rewind, forward) at the bottom of the screen and I can no longer swipe to control volume or brightness like I used to. It does this for all types of videos, whether they are my own or ones streaming from the internet. How can I get this feature back? I'm not sure what I did to make it go away!

I had some avi files that were choppy in every video player and the only media player that played them smoothly using software compression was MX Player. Also I noticed that MX player would allow you to software decode video and audio seperatly, meaning you can use hardware decode for video and software decode for audio.

Jul 13, 2010How do i delete the playlists that i create in my xperia x10 mini. I can't seem to delete them. I created a few playlists then used the media go app to delete them. But when i disconnected the phone from my computer the playlists were still present. I believe that playlists aren't stored on the sdcard. delete these playlists. And can the SE team give a fix in the mediaGo software so that it is able to display the playlists that aren't there on sdcard and allow me to modify or delete them.

After that neither Media Go nor Windows Explorer recognize my phone as a unit anymore. especially since connection still works perfect towards another computer. Where should I start to look - have tried to update the SEMC HSUSB device drivers in windows but I didn't manage to find newer ones on internet than the existing ones, (5.1.2600.0)? I've latest version of SW on phone and run PC on XP SP3.
