Nokia :: E72 - Real Player To Stream A Bbc Radio Station
Jan 27, 2010
I'm using the real player to stream a bbc radio station, it's streaming at 64 bit rate, however my friend has a e71 the same link using real player stream at only 20 bit rate (a third). Does anyone know how to adjust this (as it's costing me 3 times as much). The only difference I can see is the real player version, where can I download older versions of real player or can someone recommend an apps will can stream.
Nokia E72-1 Software version 021.024, date 17/10/09. Type: RM-530
how I can listen to radio which uses Real Player? I tried to download the beta, but was told it does not support the Xoom. This really feels like the early days of Windows Mobile - which ran on guess and a prayer..
I have an iPhone 4 that I want to plug into my car so I can listen to my favorite online radio station. How do I do this? And is all I need is an A/C adapter? Please list all possibilitys.
I'm new to N900. Prior to posting, I could not find any topics on real player and hence, the posting of this query. I tried installing realplayer into my N900 but could not install as the message "file corrupted" appears. How can I install real player into my N900?
does anyone know if its possible to install real player on the n900. http://www.Internet.com/watch?v=78yi2mxrlu4, this isn't a video of the n900, its just me mixing some scouse house.
I do not know why, real player started to work wrong. whenever I play a video, it plays for 5 seconds and after that the image frezees and the audio keeps playing.
From just a few days i can't open any video file by real player. Then i tried to open it from video centre.Same problem.I onLy hear the sound.Even i can't open that 3gp file which was played good by both real player and v'd centre before the problem started.

I have this 5530 and just noticed some problems with the software.. i dont know i it is a problem or what..
Phonebook - You can save a same number to a new or existing contact. With my old nokia phones, when you try to save a number that is already in your phonebook, it will prompt you if you would like to either continue or update the number... but with the phonebook for the 5530, it doesnt prompt the user.
Logs- i chose to keep the logs for the last 30 days but when i open my logs, it only shows the logs for aroung past 10 days.. i tried waiting for few hours for the information to load up but still it cannot go farther than 10 days.
Real Player- i transferred video files from my PC to my fone.. when i tried to play it on the phone, it says file not supported.. i checked the file format and it seems that the format is listed on the compatible formats for real player.
i already updated the software of my fone but still the same problem
I am a hardcore user of nokia c5-00 for almost 9 months. I am happy with everything except for the fact that the inbuilt real player cannot play rmvb files without flaws. Whereas i have a another player which plays the same files like charm.
I'm looking for a free player of video stream file but seems dont exist.Someone told me that Real Player is already installed in N97 mini but my N97 mini don't have this software, ca you explain?

If you have an FM radio why would you download an app for a certain radio station? Are the radios any good reception wise?I cycle a lot and use my radio during my rides(not on road either..).
Up till a few months ago I regularly used TrackID on my Sony Ericson W580i to identify tracks on my local radio station (DJ's are USELESS they never say what the tracks are called!) But the last few months I keep getting the message 'Service Not Available' after the sound sample has been sent to wherever it goes. I understand the service itself is free, but in order to use the service you need to send the sound sample to get it analyzed and you have to pay a 'data transmission charge'. Has Sony discontinued the service? Or have they updated the Track ID system and I need to update my phone? Would save me having to text the DJ's for the track names.
I wanted to watch a video in Sockshare but it says real player needed. I wasn't sure if you are able to download real player on an iPhone through the Internet, or if there was another way to go about it?
Im using a Sony Erickson vivaz and i tried to play real player via using this phone but sadly i cant.i just wanna ask is there a real player apps for this phone?
ICS update has changed something for the bad on my Droid Bionic!! I can't get music to stream to car radio using the radio controls (2012 Sorento). I had no problems with Gingerbread.......it worked just fine. I tried FDR and got a slight improvement in that the music would stream but I would have to start it with the phone. Tried re-pairing phone and car which didn't work. I have experienced the music stream stopping after 1song or several songs.
I am trying to watch my team play Italy in Eurocup and my TSN subsription won't play on my iPhone. Has this Apple/Flashplayer war not been resolved? How can I live-stream to my iPhone?
I myself have Slacker Radio its pretty good I don't use it often anymore since I just added my music from my windows media player.....I was wondering besides slacker what other radio broadcast for the bold? And do they have sports? Espn? And if so which one's are free?
I'm a spotify user. In my car I use a Pioneer bluetooth radio player connected to my lumia 950.
I can control the spotify app (play/pause, next track,...) with the radio's control buttons. When I turn off the car, the track stops playing, when I turn the car on, the playlist/track resumes. But this only works for like 5-10min.
If the car is turned off like over night etc. and I turn it on, it correctly shows the connection to my phone, but the spotify app does not continue to resume the playlist (spotify app is still "running" in the background). Even if configured to open the spotify app when the phone is connected to my cars radio player (via gadget app).
--> I need to open the spotify app on my phone, press play there. --> Now it is possible to control it via my radio again.
How to teach the phone to just "play" when it is connected to the radio and I press play? Or just to continue playing when reconnected? The spotify app has like all permissions it asks for... And it seems not to be a problem with my car's radio player, because it's the same story when testing with my bose soundlink...
I just bought a X6 phone with vodafone and tried to download a realtone ringtone from my vodafone live and got the message that "your phone is not compatible with the content you are trying to download"...my prev phone was nokia N95 and I was able to download ringtones all the time. How do I make my X6 compatible for realtone ringtones?
I've had my Nokia x6 for a while now and lately it's really starting to act up. Every now and then it just reboots itself. The menu (that appears when you press the on/off button) pops up real quick and automatically chooses the "turn off"-option. This happens more than 10 times a day. But it won't shut down if the lock button is activated, the display just lights up (which is REALLY annoying too). I've tried to do a soft reset and a hard reset (although the hard reset didn't delete my songs) and the problem persists! Should I try to format the the discs (or whatever they're called) or is this undoubtedly a problem that needs to be solved by my local Nokia Care Center?
I've been reading a lot about Nokia Messaging and some sources say that it is a real push email service like BIS but some say that it needs to maintain an active connection all the times to ensure instantenous delivery of email. What's the truth? When I choose 'push' on my Nokia E72, it is connected to the internet all the time and only pretends to be real push, but I was wondering whether it's because my operator is not supported. Also, what difference does it make when your operator supports Nokia Messaging? As far as I know, my operator is not supported, but I easily set up Nokia Messaging with my Nokia E72. So, doesn't it mean that the only thing required for the Nokia Messaging to work is a data plan? Why does Nokia make announcements about starting to offer Nokia Messaging in countries where there already is internet in mobile phones?
