Is there any video player for mms, rtsp, and http streaming links? Default player plays avi, mpg, flv, mkv, etc but it doesn't play rtsp or mms links. Corecodec Coreplayer works on my old phone (N79) , but it isn't compatible for Nokia C6-01 and can't play any link.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been able to set a streaming solution through VLC to my nokia device and can stream netTV, movies, DVD discs, webcam from my personal PC. Through the tests, i've found that the maximum resolution is width=352, height=288 which is 11:9 aspect ratio. Of course i can set 16:9 ratio which again has the limitation of the width=352. Every pixel above 352 makes the nokia response in "Unable to play video clip".So obviously there is some limitation in the resolutions through live streams. When i play a video from the Memory Card, 640*360 is supported without a problem.The problem is, that i have access to several streams , which are live TVs and i can watch only those, that are below 352 pixels wide. Those that are in resolution 448*336 don't play, although the format and the codecs of the stream are the same as with the 352*288.So, is there a way , that i can remove these limitations, or at least allow the Real Player to play streaming links with higher than 352 pxls width?

I had some avi files that were choppy in every video player and the only media player that played them smoothly using software compression was MX Player. Also I noticed that MX player would allow you to software decode video and audio seperatly, meaning you can use hardware decode for video and software decode for audio.

I used this with absolutely zero problems when I was running 4.6. I recently upgraded to 5.0 (681), and now none of the streams I used to use work. I get an error message, saying that it could not be open.Any suggestions as to A) how to fix it or B) a free app that will stream custom URLs? My phone has been reset several times since I first noticed this problem, and it is still an issue, so a battery pull/reset is not solving this at all.

View 6 Replies View RelatedTo the apps developers at Nokia,first I must say the new lumia 800 is an awesome phone with some great features but there are two significant issues:
1. No flash player support, I understand apples issue with flash but surely microsofts wp7 should support flash as standard.
2. No iPlayer app or support! This is scandalous and I have to use my ipod touch for this. Any smartphone released for the UK needs iPlayer as standard. This is really disappointing.
So please app developers sort this out as this is the only reason I would not recommend this phone to anyone else.

I want to get rid of these for good. Any one have any ideas?I have tried removing them from the service book only to have them reappear on my phone. I can't delete them from applications because they aren't actual applications only links to get the application. So far flicker, bing, my space, social beat, slacker radio, NFL mobile, skype, back up assistant, and my verizon have all spontaneously appeared on my phone. If I wanted them, I would have downloaded them myself.

I thought there might be some issue with my laptop so I tried my phone THROW option with other laptop also, there also the same problem is occurring.
