Before phone recovery (in PC Companion) made backup of contacts and messages via 'backup and restore' (and contacts via 'export to sdcard' too). After recovery complete I tryed restore messages and contacts from SBF file with 'backup and restore' tool. But it alert me 'cant read selected restore file'. How can I extract messages from sbf-file? It's very important for me.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a major problem with my Xperia Ray at the moment, it just refuses to read my SIM card. In fact, it doesn't even ask me for my PIN number, it just boots as normal but I have no connection to any network. I've tried using the SIM card in another phone and it works fine, therefore the problem is with the phone itself.I'd recently had my phone network & bootloader unlocked by wotanserver using the test point method - because of this I thought the DRM keys would be fine (e.g. TrackId & Timescape still worked). However, when I was updating from GB .42 to .62 OTA (to flash a GB ROM) my phone brickedSo, I searched high and low for a solution and ended up using s1tool to restore the locked bootloader. Then I used flashtool to flash a stock ICS ftf file. It seemed to work (the phone rebooted) but it was then I noticed that the SIM card wasn't being recognised. Also, in the Flashtool log I noticed that a blue line was there saying 'this file is ignored simlock.ta'I've tried everything I can think of to fix this.

I opened my back up file (.sbf) and was affronted with this error message. "Cannot read selected backup file". I've tried downloading OI file manager and it doesn't open through there either. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy school uses ICA files to access programs. When I click launch app from the website it will prompt to only download and save the launch.ica file in firefox. I then proceed to click the downloaded file from firefox download window but then citrix gives me a cant read file error.
I currently have away around this by creating a custom .desktop file so that I can launch it using the file manager. Originally the file manager did not recognize what to use to open a .ica file. Not sure why it cant launch the file through firefox.
I have some troubles trying to transfer videos into my phone and I keep getting the error "Cannot read from source file.". I was able to transfer videos into my phone in the past without any problems until this started. Could it be something wrong with my USB or SD card?

View 2 Replies View RelatedEverytime I plug my iPhone 4s into my computer and try to sync with iTunes, I get an error saying, "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone "xxxx", Go to the summary tab in iPhone options and click restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings". I have done this and still get the same problem. I use Windows 7. I have tried running both on and off administrator mode and with and without my Zonealarm firewall. This phone has never been jailbroken.

I have located the backup files on my PC, which is under some geberrish file name in my hard drive. I have two backup files, one from 1 week ago, one from this week. How can I choose to restore from the file that I backed up a week ago?
I tried plugging the phone in and go through itunes, but itune only gave me the option to restore from the backup file from this week (which is no good because the new backup file has nothing in it for some reason, 0MB of file ).

I touched restore all factory settings and now I don't have any contact. I need them. I have installed Ovi Suite and I went to the restore tab menu but there it said you don't have .nbu backup.
I don't have it but I need my contacts.
I updated my Bold 9900 last night and was restoring settings but something happened and the program froze. Now the desktop software is not recognizing the bakcup file. Is there anything I can do?
