Jan 3, 2012I have searched for about 2 hours trying to find a way around this. I had my phone reset today and have lost contacts, messages and call logs. I opened my back up file (.sbf) and was affronted with this error message. "Cannot read selected backup file". I've tried downloading OI file manager and it doesn't open through there either. Is my back up lost?

Jun 20, 2014I have been trying to backup my text messages so that they are in a readable format on my computer so that I can read them or print them. I have a number of pictures that have been sent and some important conversations I need to save; however, they are taking up a lot of memory on my phone and I would like to delete them, but still have access to them on the computer. I downloaded a free program called Appandora, but it locked up every time it started to save the second text message thread. The one that it did save was in a .txt file and was very difficult to read. I do understand that the texts are backed up when the phone is backed up, but I want them in a readable accessible file.

After recovery complete I tryed restore messages and contacts from SBF file with 'backup and restore' tool. But it alert me 'cant read selected restore file'. How can I extract messages from sbf-file? It's very important for me.

Jun 18, 2012I have a major problem with my Xperia Ray at the moment, it just refuses to read my SIM card. In fact, it doesn't even ask me for my PIN number, it just boots as normal but I have no connection to any network. I've tried using the SIM card in another phone and it works fine, therefore the problem is with the phone itself.I'd recently had my phone network & bootloader unlocked by wotanserver using the test point method - because of this I thought the DRM keys would be fine (e.g. TrackId & Timescape still worked). However, when I was updating from GB .42 to .62 OTA (to flash a GB ROM) my phone brickedSo, I searched high and low for a solution and ended up using s1tool to restore the locked bootloader. Then I used flashtool to flash a stock ICS ftf file. It seemed to work (the phone rebooted) but it was then I noticed that the SIM card wasn't being recognised. Also, in the Flashtool log I noticed that a blue line was there saying 'this file is ignored simlock.ta'I've tried everything I can think of to fix this.

After that neither Media Go nor Windows Explorer recognize my phone as a unit anymore. especially since connection still works perfect towards another computer. Where should I start to look - have tried to update the SEMC HSUSB device drivers in windows but I didn't manage to find newer ones on internet than the existing ones, (5.1.2600.0)? Jan 6, 2011If you download music in mp3 format from, say, TubeMate, it gives you the chance to enter the artist and the album etc in an update box when you do it. The subject is usually the title it brought with it. However, you can leave these blank of course.
Unfortunately, having stored them, I can't find a way back in to edit this information. I downloaded some stuff and didn't bother with the artist to start with as it was in the title. However, if you don't enter the artist then the track doesn't appear in the alphabetic list.
how to get back the fields to edit? I've read all the manuals I can find on the X10 mini pro, and I know that a long press does different things to a quick tap, but I've tried everything and failed.
