I'm having this problem: Yesterday I Uninstall my Python S60 2.0 from my device from Application manager. I downloaded it before some days from SW Update direct from my phone, but now there isn't there. So I am wondering is there any place to download it or I don't need this application ?
I am willing to accept I have no clue when it comes to phones ect but I was wondering if someone can help as im trying to download some apps and a few have come back saying I need python 2.5 as a minimum.what is python?where can I get it?
I have a nokia 5630,and so far I have installed python 2.0.0 and the script shell from the official website. Some python apps install and are working fine. Other python apps do not work at all.The icon appears after install, but nothing happens when i try to run the app. This happens whether I try installing on mem card or phone memory.Do I need a different version of python instead?Which one do I need? Will it let me use any python app?
When I enter Software Update from the phone the only update that appear is Python for S60 2.0.When I mark it and push start update it begins.Downloading finished.Installing.and then 1 Update Failed. Yestarday I was uninstalled Python 2.0 from my phone, and then I find only version 1.9.7 and install it. Now when I try to download the newer version, which I can't find from the internet it failed?

Ever since I got my Nokia 2320 (which for some unknown reason is not listed on this site) back in December, it ran slow when I turned it on and took a few minutes (up to five) to what I call "recall the messages and remember it could send messages." But lately the time it takes to recall the messaging is longer and longer. A couple days ago it took me 27 hours. This time, its been 30. I read on another site about a guy who had this same message on this same phone and it had been 3 days and the problem had still not corrected itself. I want to know what is happening, why, and how to fix it. I called my carrier customer service and have been on the phone with them on and off for about a month about it. They have NO CLUE what it is.
I am having an issue with a weird error code that I have gotten since day 1 of owning my torch. Everytime I do a BP when the phone boots up I am getting an error that says, "122 Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code. Activatet=6"
I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.
Have tried to set up my pop3 email on my 6700 slide using the same settings I've always used on previous phones/pc and for some reason emails just won't send. However my main problem is that I keep getting a message flash on screen saying 'Unable to send message:[Email address]. As soon as I clear it, it comes back about 2 seconds later and just won't go away. Stops me doing anything on the phone as I have to keep clearing the message every few seconds. I've gone into drafts/outbox, every folder I can find in 'Messaging' and there's no copy of the email to even delete it. I've even gone to my mail server on the web and the message isn't showing. From the mailbox itself on the phone, I've tried to folders under 'More folders' but there's nothing showing - no sent or drafts folders. How can I stop this error message appearing every 2 seconds?
for some reason my Nokia N97 Mini doesnt tell me when I have a new message, nor vibrate. I always have to go to 'Messaging' to see the red star by Inbox to see if one is there. Before I never had this problem but now I do.Is there something I did or a button I accidentally pressed?
I try to install some apps like: MarableMaze and LightSabre, but when I try install them apperar: Component 'Python for S60' missing. Continue anyway? , and if I install it . the app doesn't work. I try to install Python v1.4.5, and I tried with 1.9.7, now I am with 2.0, but still not working. What should i do?
I have a small problem with the message details on text messages specially the time. When I receive text messages, it shows the right time (current time) in the inbox but when I try to check the time with message details, Its late by 4 Hours. I tried using my time zone, turn off autoupdate, etch and it seems nothing happened, its still the same. I Hope you know a way to fix this one or if you can make or find a way to fix this.
I recently upgraded to firmware v51 after updating i m experiencing a strange problem """"while pressing O it types L ---- the key just below it-----""""" and with other keys too pressing something and typing something else...
Following on from my post "Nokia N97 is this the worst phone they have ever made?" I have discovered yet another problem with my USELESS N97. I have always set it to save my message in the Mass Memory but why, and I really don't know, now I get error messages saying the memory is full and when I check the damned thing has reverted back to the default setting of saving them on the phone memory.I HATE THIS BLOODY PHONE !
If anyone has any ideas other than throwing under the wheels of a lorry let me know, I'd be very grateful. Nokia have said that because this is a different problem to the one its being returned for repair AGAIN it can't be done at the same time.Am I missing something here or what? I know I'm from the Emerald Isle but we're not as stupid as people think
After updating to FP2 the phone was working well but after some days each time i boot up the device it always says "System error"i tried to hard rest the device but that didn't work ,also i tried reinstalling the software via nokia suite but with no luck so: if i reflashed the phone myself will that void my warranty?
Im getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.
I have Nokia N97 Mini handset and I am facing problem in it with Battery Low error message, when ever I call someone or I receive any call.Battery works fine in case of standby mode, or even when I do SMS chat for whole day. Even if I listen to music for 10 to 12 hrs, the mobile works fine, no issue of battery low. But during that if I receive any call, then suddenly it displays the battery low error message and the mobile is switched off.I try to check everything of it. The mobile functions normal and in good condition in following cases
1. Wife Connectivity 2. Bluetooth data transfer 3. Sms chat for lets say 12 to 14 hrs. 4. Video play for 2 hrs. 5. Music plays for 10 to 12 hrs. 6. Clicking photos or recording Videos. 7. Browsing internet.
But it only falls down in case of Call. Either I receive call or make a call. I don't know how to Rectify this problem. I had once shown to Nokia customer care, but even after that the problem still remains.I even try factory restore settings and hard format of OS. But still no improvements.
I have been using my N8 for one year. I have not faced any problem so far except this one. For the last couple of days, Whenever I start to speak on the phone , in a few seconds time, call ends and I get same message."CONNECTION ERROR"
I have recently purchased a E63 in India. My earlier model was 9500 Communicator. I have transferred all the data from 9500 to E63 and all files etc. are opening properly, except files in the folder 'My Documents' which are 'Word' or 'Excel' files.
Whenever I try to open the file it says "File Format Not Supported".
I'm trying to send text but its keep saying RESEND and when I check memory says messages 14kb to 26 kb even though its empty and after 2 3 times resend it says GENERAL: MEMORY FULL. CLOSE SOME APPLICATION AND TRY AGAIN.But in ma cell its 48mb space free
When I select a WiFi network from the E72 home page, it shows me the option to "Start web browsing".(The other 2 options at this stage are "Search for WLAN" and "Switch WLAN scan off". When I select the option to "Start web browsing", I get a list of bookmarks for the browser. But when I select any of those bookmarks, I get an error message "WLAN: WLAN connection already active. Close it and try again". Has anyone seen this before ? Any clues as to how to solve this?
My n97 was working perfect til i installed the latest updates, since then all i get when i try to make a call is "connection error" and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, I cant receive phone calls either it goes straight to voice mail...The phone was sent to a repair center where they fixed my charging problems, replaced the camera lens and never bothered with the "connection error". Ive sent several emails to Nokia but no response, the phone is almost 6 months old and is on Vodafone, Ive tied another sim card in it and still no joy...Plz help as £300 is not good value for a 6 month old phone,
So this is a new problem, never had this before. I often use wireless, but sometimes it has poor signal and is impossible to use so I also use simple mobile internet. Usually the phone using opera mini asks if you want to use mobile internet (not wireless) but now it almost never does, so I get the connection error message as there is no wireless, but I also cannot use my mobile internet. Just today it gave me problems because of that. bassicly, I cannot use internet, unless I have good wireless signal. And I have mobile internet as priority number 1 in my settings. So is there something else to do? This problem is appearing and dissapearing. Thought could be from bad wireless, it kinda locks itself on it or something, but turning off the phone doesn't help.I hope I gave all the neccesary details for someone to understand this
I just got my phone yesterday and everything seems great apart from an annoying little problem! When I am on the home screen there is a flashing message icon in the top right hand screen and when i click on it it says sim memory full - i have copied all my contacts across onto the phone. Can someone help me with how to get rid of it?
I'm running Windows XP with all the updates, I'd previously installed PC suite for a UK Nokia 5000, I've now got a UK 5230, I've connected to it via bluetooth and a USB cable, but now cant connect with either. I've tried to update or reinstall PC Suite, but each time I try I get the messageOlder version of Nokia Connectivity Driver cannot be removed. Contact support I've uninstalled PC Suite, but now it wont let me re-install it.
