I am very happy with my New E7 however after the Anna update I am no longer able to log into the Ovi store. I get the following error when trying to log in "Unable to complete the operation due to a connection error. Please try again later"
I cannot download or log in. Everything else is working just great its just the store which is starting to prove troublesome. I can access the store with the same user account on my computer.. Its just from my phone..
I received my new Nokia 5800XM yesterday and was told in-store that the GPS would work automatically. So went home and tried it for the first time, it discovered my position in under 5 minutes, and I was super excited as I got the phone solely for the purpose of navigating my way around the new city I had just moved to. However, when selected the "drive", "walk" or "search" options it didn't give any results for my searches for addresses. I tried a bunch of variations on the names of places and even used google maps as a reference of how to write out the addresses but it has a standard "no results found" every time. It also jumps between "searching online" and "searching offline". I visited the Nokia website to see if I could find a solution, and subsequently upgraded the software on my phone, downloaded the maps installer, the map loader and the multimedia transfer. I then deleted all the existing maps and installed the map for my country and a voice.
It is still, despite having no problem with connectivity, not giving me any search results. Is there some place that you set the phone to search the maps installed on the memory card? As I think that the phone searches online and the connectivity might be interrupted? really have no clue about these things. searched everywhere and couldn't find setting for this. I can scroll through the map and manually select a place, after which the GPS works fine except - the voice isn't working! Does it talk out loud? or do you need your headphones? This is fine if you're going somewhere that you know, but that's kind of defeating the point of having GPS, no? Another small problem is that I have a constant flashing little envelope in the right top corner, it says that "SIM card is full" - but I can't find a directory for the SIM card? It's been flashing since the moment I put the SIM in the phone, but never did it with my old phone. Any idea where I can access the SIM information and delete some of it?

1- when i opened the gallery and songs the device gave me the message "searching for music and podcasts" so i waited but the message has been for the last 3 hours.
2- when some one calls me when the device is locked it gives me 2 options to answer and to unlock the phone using the touch screen but however i touch any option nothing happens.
When I try opening the camera on my phone I get the error message: " Could not start the camera, close other applications and try opening the camera again". I did a reboot, did OS update from Blackberry Desktop Software, checked menu button on phone for open applications..How do I fix this?

At first my Ovi store worked fine, but now when i try to use ovi store i get an "application initialization error”. So I restored the phone back to factory settings and tried again, but now when i try to download and install Ovi Store again, it says "Secure widget UI: Feature not supported" right after I install the program. If I try to open Ovi Store, it just jumps back to the menu without any other notifications.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy phone was given to me by someone else but I did a complete reset and deleted their data and started using the phone.Everything was fine until I went on to a few questionable websites. Having clicked a few links, I found that new tabs were spontaneously opening in the safari browser and the app store kept kicking me out of my web session and inviting me to install some app.Â
As far as I am knowledgable, the phone is not jailbroken (if it was this would have been rectified when I did the reset, correct?).And as far as I know, the phone is very much safe, as long as it is not jailbroken, from malware etc. I did yet another reset, several intact, and I had a similar issue. This time though when I did the latest reset I did not include my iCloud and apple id credentials during the set up for fear of getting hacked. Â
The problem now is I have the issue on the phone, there is a lot of data, numbers and pictures I would like to transfer to my computer but I am 1) fearful of connecting it and 2) afraid to type in an email and password to send my data to myself, or even sync everything with iCloud.Â
The phone is also terribly slow, I don't know if this is a malware problem or if it is, as I read others have said the same online, the phone being too underpowered to support iOS 7.Â

I always use WLAN and am able to access the internet (including the Ovi store page) at all times. However, once I click "download" and it asks for the username and password, it always has the error "Network Error - Please Try Again". I receive a "PC Sync was unable to locate your Outlook message store" error message. By searching this board, it appears that this is a fairly common problem. I have never had any nokia products on it prior to my attempts.Connecting via USB (no errrors or problems reported with this).Does anyone have a bonafide solution for this? This really sounds like buggy software to me.

However, on this particular device, I cannot even get to the menu for email accounts. Every attempt results in the following ianane OS message; "Your device had a problem connecting to the server." I'm then required to either try again (a never ending loop) or cancel.
I suspect this has something to do with my provider (AT&T) because I had similar symptoms on another device (same model, w/o enterprise security policies). I was able to fix it on the other device by deleting the IMAP Service Books and then doing a hard reset. It doesn't work for the problem BB.

When the transaction was confirming i saw an error that the verification with server has failed but i get 2 sms messages with "Thank you for buying...". In sms i can read my transaction code but i still cant download my game and i LOST MY MONEY !
