I downloaded skype for symbian for my nokia n97 but when im trying to install it says file corrupted. Also i tried to update ovi store and got the same message.Anything I can do?
View 4 RepliesI purchased my E72 little over a month ago, and I love it to bits but I'm encountering some problems. At first my Ovi store worked fine, but now when i try to use ovi store i get an "application initialization error”. So I restored the phone back to factory settings and tried again, but now when i try to download and install Ovi Store again, it says "Secure widget UI: Feature not supported" right after I install the program. If I try to open Ovi Store, it just jumps back to the menu without any other notifications.

I logged in and when open on the recommended page and then scrolling to the next page it gives an error (operation could not be completed due to an error) after that i can't even log out. everything I do is an error message. Its been upgraded to the newest version. I also completely removed OVI store and re-installed it. But still the same problem.

I always use WLAN and am able to access the internet (including the Ovi store page) at all times. However, once I click "download" and it asks for the username and password, it always has the error "Network Error - Please Try Again". I keep trying a few times, and the connection is timed out.I have this cool phone but I can't play any games on it!

When the transaction was confirming i saw an error that the verification with server has failed but i get 2 sms messages with "Thank you for buying...". In sms i can read my transaction code but i still cant download my game and i LOST MY MONEY !

I've tried wiping the data in the apps manager. It worked fine in 1.6 and I can't remember if I've ever tried it on 2.1.
SE should really unpack this from their phones and offer it on the market keeping it free for SE users, it's a really great piece of software! but then again it would probably make this "authentication" problem more common for SE users if the phone HAS to autheticate it. Ah well..

The only problem is when I open the app store, then click an app, instead of the download page loading I get the attached screen shot. Anyone else seen it? It only happens when I'm connected over 3g, wifi is completely fine. I've been in to the 3 store and they said it's probably an Apple problem, whereas Apple think it's a 3 problem.
