Jun 26, 2010I'm thinking about getting an E72, but I have never had a Nokia smartphone before, and would like to ask a few questions hopefully somebody will be able to clarify.
1. I understand E72 supports Exchange and standard webmail apps. What is Nokia Messaging then? Looks similar to a BlackBerry set up. I have a Yahoo! email account which I would like to be able to configure it with the E72 built in email client (not the apps), and sync/reconcile two ways.
2. How about folders within Yahoo! mail? Are these shown in the built in email app?
3. I would like to have in sync Yahoo! contacts and calendar. Are these features supported?
4. Is it possible to open (and log in) Skype at phone boot?

Oct 13, 2014I got a new Nokia Lumia Icon with Verizon Wireless contract. I installed skype and when trying to make International Voice calls, all I see the blue backgroud with Skype call outgoing icon and then nothing happens. Sometimes, the call gets active as in it shows the seconds counter of the call,but nobody can here anything on either side of the call. I do have some credit balance in my Skype account.
I tried re-installing the app but to no avail.
Previously, I had an Android device and when I tried to make same International mobile calls now in it, I am able to connect and talk without any issues. I also chatted with an Skype support team and they also couldn't get much. They said that I am reporting such type of issue for first time and told that one of their tech specialist will get in touch with me once they have completely assessed the issue.
Xperia Z5 :: Skype Mic / Headset Audio Input Stops When Phone Gets Hot
Jul 3, 2010When using Skype video call the phone gets hotter and when it reaches 45 degc (battery temp) the person on the other end of the call can't hear me. My audio input is no longer being picked up.
Happens with either mic or headset use.
Typically takes around 10 mins before this happens, from cold (30 degc) start.
If I exit call and then reconnect the audio works fine again for a short period (1 to 2 mins) of time but will then stop again. If I let the phone cool then audio will work ok on next call for longer, until phone heats up again then it stops.
BB Curve :: Phone Keeps Trying To Load
Jun 3, 2011First of all, I posted this once under someone else's question and probably should not have.My apologies for a second post. My Blackberry Curve 8330 is set up to automatically reboot. This morning, there was a RESET error - little tiny words and letters in the middle of a blank screen. I hit reset and nothing...scrolled to other options and nothing happened with anything I clicked on. Took the battery out and back in...still same thing. Suddenly the screen changed to white with small letters at the very bottom like a computer loading or like your viruscan looks on the computer - going through words and files at a record pace like it is scanning files. After 20 minutes, I removed the battery again. Waited, inserted it and it did the exact same thing - trying to load or scroll through every piece of memory. The phone will not turn on at all. It just goes directly to this mode.

Jun 6, 2011so when i turn on my phone, it takes about 2 minutes for the blackberry bar to fill but it remains there for about 20 minutes. finally, when it's done loading, it brings me to a page which lists my options and applications but not on my homepage, it's just a white backgroup and plain black letters and when i click on them, i get a message saying "error starting...".i have tried tried pulling the battery for a couple of minutes, that hasn't worked. i hooked it up to my laptop, tried restoring it but then it wasn't allowed to access certain files on the blackberry.

May 27, 2015Almost every image, expect images send over whats app or other P2P transfers don't work.
To be more specific, when I search images on google i only get black results, with the image dimensions loading in. I can see whether an image is square, a rectangle or whatever but the image is always completely white or black. This also goes for capcha's used on websites and other images that load in for example pop ups.

Jan 9, 2010First of all, I cannot seem to get the touted video call working through skype. It is a neat feature and I would like to use it. I have read other complain about the poor quality of the webcam, but I cannot seem to get it started, period. How is that done? Secondly, T-mobile lets you dial #646# in order to check your balance, yet the phone says this is an invalid number. Is there any workaround for this?
