Cseries :: C3-00 Restart On Opening Collections.ovi Store App?
Dec 27, 2012I have a couple of softwares installed in the ''collections'' folder of phone memory.I am not able to access it lately,as the phone restarts when i try to open it.I cant delete it as it is a system folder.I have tried restoring to factory settings which didnt help.I have latest firmware.Even ovi store app closes few seconds after opening.

May 8, 2012Well, the title explains the situation best. Many people have encountered this same problem and most of them had the problem solved with a few exceptions. I guess I fall in the exceptions category.
I bought a C5-03 last month. I am planning to visit the UK and my flight is tomorrow. So I downloaded the map the whole UK with voice files for female voice and with street names, just a few days ago. I didn't install any app since then and didn't even connect to the internet with the phone. I used the system for few hours in total and got acquainted. Last night, when I entered Ovi Maps, it just closed after 3~5 seconds, without giving any chance to select any menu or option.
I browsed for solutions on the net but none of them worked. So far I have tried formatting the memory card, restoring factory settings, reinstalling phone software through Nokia suite 3.4 but none of them seems to work. Someone claimed the problem to be solved through reinstalling the OVI Maps software, but I couldn't even find any entry for Ovi Maps on my phone, neither on applications manager nor with other uninstallers.
IPhone 4 :: Malware Opening Tabs In Safari And App Store Applications
Aug 30, 2014My phone was given to me by someone else but I did a complete reset and deleted their data and started using the phone.Everything was fine until I went on to a few questionable websites. Having clicked a few links, I found that new tabs were spontaneously opening in the safari browser and the app store kept kicking me out of my web session and inviting me to install some app.Â
As far as I am knowledgable, the phone is not jailbroken (if it was this would have been rectified when I did the reset, correct?).And as far as I know, the phone is very much safe, as long as it is not jailbroken, from malware etc. I did yet another reset, several intact, and I had a similar issue. This time though when I did the latest reset I did not include my iCloud and apple id credentials during the set up for fear of getting hacked. Â
The problem now is I have the issue on the phone, there is a lot of data, numbers and pictures I would like to transfer to my computer but I am 1) fearful of connecting it and 2) afraid to type in an email and password to send my data to myself, or even sync everything with iCloud.Â
The phone is also terribly slow, I don't know if this is a malware problem or if it is, as I read others have said the same online, the phone being too underpowered to support iOS 7.Â

Sep 8, 2011I have this problem after I upgrade my C6-01 to Anna, before at home screen when I press the camera button it open camera app, and takes photos when app is open. Now after update, the button only work when camera app is running. So every time I want to take a picture, I have to open menu, etc... And that's all, its the only bug I detect after Anna update.

Jan 14, 2012I lost the Ovi store icon from my phone today. I can see Ovi store app when I check application manager>installed apps. But it is not there in the menu. So I cant access it by any means. I tried installing the new qml store client. Even that gets installed but not available thru menu. I can confirm it is installed in the phone memory as I can see it in the installed apps list. But no way I can use it since there is no icon for it. Also I have lost my internet search engine which is used to search web content thru native browser.
