I have this problem after I upgrade my C6-01 to Anna, before at home screen when I press the camera button it open camera app, and takes photos when app is open. Now after update, the button only work when camera app is running. So every time I want to take a picture, I have to open menu, etc... And that's all, its the only bug I detect after Anna update.

just finished updating my c7 to symbian anna, i have succesfully installed the 2-part updates, and also other new updates like ovi, my problem is the photos menu....when i open the photos menu, the usual you should see there are all the pics taken from phone, pics taken from bluetooth or from the pc, videos taken from phone, and vids taken from bluetooth and pc....
all are allright except for this, my problem is i cant view pics that are taken from bluetooth or the pc...i can view the other pics, and the vids but not the photos from the pc. i can view them using an alternate way, but i have to go to the file manager and locate them..this wasnt the way it should be and will give me a harder time, i want the normal way... what i want is to view them instantly at the photos menu..
I updated my Astound 2 or 3 weeks back, ran fine until 3 or 4 days ago. If I am on a call, another call coming in will lock the phone up. It ends up killing both calls. 2 or 3 times the phone ends up restarting and I have to wait for it to finish. the screen goes dark, the notification light and red and green lights are lit, but none of the 3 buttons will work. I did the update thru nokia on the software update notification, not thru t-mobile. Is it possible this could cause a conflict of the device on the t-mobile network? Is it possible to roll back the update to the original software the phone started with?

Took it to an o2 guru and he had no idea how to help found out, MYSELF that nokia isn't usig the social app anymore and have started using a new social app which I can't download from the ovi store as it not compatible with my C6-01. So I can't use my old social and the new one doesn't work on my phone.

View 19 Replies View RelatedCamera has been working fine before Anna update pack 1/2. Now it doesn't geotag all photos automatically. Some photos are geotagged and some are missing information. Very annoying! If I put Maps application on at the same time, camera geotags photos fine, but not without Nokia Maps. Not very handy open two applications. On camera interface geotag icon can show missing location info, but it still geotags photos.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi have updated my n8 to anna with all the required files. but after update i noticed that the gallery only shows the images that i have clicked with camera not other pics in the pictures folder. when i later moved those pics from pictures folder to camera folder i was able to see them in gallery. now this isnt convenient.

Now for passed a couple of days after making the latest Symbian update, the Camera blacked out. When I turn it on from the Camera button or Software button, doesnt matter I get, black screen and the settings marks of camera view on the screen. When shoot the picture from the button or the screen button, it does take the picture but it is very dark picture, even under a strong light and no colors but blue everything in the picture like a horror movie! When I insist taking photo during this condition, it all gets frozen and I hardly go back to phone and the phone requires a start up to be stabilized again. I get a frozen camera working behind and slows down everything. I have tryed reloading the symbian update, (Doesnt work) I have tryed to format MicroSD (even making it FAT32)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI did the Anna update on my Astound, From information gathered on some forums, it did not install right. It has issues that it did not have before. Since Belle looks to be released in February, I am guessing that a phone not working correctly after Anna, probably should not take a chance on Belle?, In other words, An Anna update did not install correctly, there is no option to reinstall. That would make it very probable that Belle would not be able to correct that? or install itself properly? Doesn't a later update require a previous update to install correctly? I have been told that only Nokia can reflash my phone back to original, I live in the US, it looks like that would be unable to accomplish. I would have to buy another phone just to have this one shipped off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone frequently returns a message "Error! Camera not Available!" when opening any application which uses a camera. This happens specially when the applicatons that scan barcodes are used ("AT&T Code Scanner", "OK Scan"), but not exclusively. Among the apps bringing the camera to a crash there are some of good reputation, like for example "Perfectly Clear". In the emergency mode the camera works OK.
The issue is the same as in this thread for Z1, however it disappoints me that the same happens in Z3 which is so much newer.
The support advised me to clear the data for the camera (Applications menu) and restart the phone. No dice, so they advised to reset the phone to factory defaults. I did it twice, due to after the first time I found exactly which apps caused the problem. It took me a day to restore everything to the original state .
Afterwards, the camera was stuck by "Perfectly Clear", a decent app written by a "Best programmer". I was depressed.
However, there is a solution: simply clearing all the apps running in the background (["three permanent keys in the bottom" | "two rectangles" | clear all], or [an icon with a green brush]). This works without a restart.
for a few days the lumia camera isnt opening..all the other camera apps like proshot is working though..even the camera key isnt opening it after pressing..

I bought a C5-03 last month. I am planning to visit the UK and my flight is tomorrow. So I downloaded the map the whole UK with voice files for female voice and with street names, just a few days ago. I didn't install any app since then and didn't even connect to the internet with the phone. I used the system for few hours in total and got acquainted. Last night, when I entered Ovi Maps, it just closed after 3~5 seconds, without giving any chance to select any menu or option.
I browsed for solutions on the net but none of them worked. So far I have tried formatting the memory card, restoring factory settings, reinstalling phone software through Nokia suite 3.4 but none of them seems to work. Someone claimed the problem to be solved through reinstalling the OVI Maps software, but I couldn't even find any entry for Ovi Maps on my phone, neither on applications manager nor with other uninstallers.
So just recently, i have had problems accessing my themes and the Ovi store, everytime I click on it, it just reboots the phone. My software is up to date. Could it be a virus? What should I do?
