Jan 11, 2012After resetting my phone C7 I'm unable to update Anna through Nokia Suite. It doesn't show the updates. The nokia suite version is 3.3.84(beta).

Cseries :: C7 After Symbian Anna Update?
Aug 19, 2011just finished updating my c7 to symbian anna, i have succesfully installed the 2-part updates, and also other new updates like ovi, my problem is the photos menu....when i open the photos menu, the usual you should see there are all the pics taken from phone, pics taken from bluetooth or from the pc, videos taken from phone, and vids taken from bluetooth and pc....
all are allright except for this, my problem is i cant view pics that are taken from bluetooth or the pc...i can view the other pics, and the vids but not the photos from the pc. i can view them using an alternate way, but i have to go to the file manager and locate them..this wasnt the way it should be and will give me a harder time, i want the normal way... what i want is to view them instantly at the photos menu..
Cseries :: C7 Astound After Anna Update
Jan 1, 2012I updated my Astound 2 or 3 weeks back, ran fine until 3 or 4 days ago. If I am on a call, another call coming in will lock the phone up. It ends up killing both calls. 2 or 3 times the phone ends up restarting and I have to wait for it to finish. the screen goes dark, the notification light and red and green lights are lit, but none of the 3 buttons will work. I did the update thru nokia on the software update notification, not thru t-mobile. Is it possible this could cause a conflict of the device on the t-mobile network? Is it possible to roll back the update to the original software the phone started with?

Oct 9, 2011Since doing the Anna update the Social app isn't working and neither is communities. Took it to an o2 guru and he had no idea how to help found out, MYSELF that nokia isn't usig the social app anymore and have started using a new social app which I can't download from the ovi store as it not compatible with my C6-01. So I can't use my old social and the new one doesn't work on my phone.

Now after update, the button only work when camera app is running. So every time I want to take a picture, I have to open menu, etc... And that's all, its the only bug I detect after Anna update.

Aug 22, 2011I was upgrading my Nokia E7 to symbian Anna and while installing Symbian Anna update 2/2 the phone told me restart to complete installation. But the installion was still running. I actaully restarted the phone while it was updating 2/2. I did so because the phone told me to restart. When restarted I couldn't find the 2/2 in the update list in the SW update. I can only see 1/2 and the other 2 optional items. but 2/2 was not shown in the update list. I hard rest my phone as I might be able to install them 2 but no luck. Now the phone seems to be working fine and the SW update says I have the latest software. Ovi update says I have the latest software.

Everything is great - phone feels much faster, menus are speedier, looks are stunning, no hitches or data loss during upgrade (except for few applications like Fring which disappeared). So congratulations on your fabulous work on the Belle firmware!A big grouse however is the redesign of the Messaging application. I am used to seeing the good old folder-based view of Inbox, Outbox, Drafts, Sent, etc. as soon as I open the Messaging app (I'm sure that's the case with most people).However, in Belle, when I open Messaging, I see all my messages from all folders in one place (arranged by date & time). This is very, very confusing and not pleasant at all, since messaging is one of the most important things done on a phone, even today.I know I can still see the folder-based view by clicking on the rightmost option in taskbar and selecting "View folders". But I don't want to be doing that everytime.

Feb 4, 2012I did the Anna update on my Astound, From information gathered on some forums, it did not install right. It has issues that it did not have before. Since Belle looks to be released in February, I am guessing that a phone not working correctly after Anna, probably should not take a chance on Belle?, In other words, An Anna update did not install correctly, there is no option to reinstall. That would make it very probable that Belle would not be able to correct that? or install itself properly? Doesn't a later update require a previous update to install correctly? I have been told that only Nokia can reflash my phone back to original, I live in the US, it looks like that would be unable to accomplish. I would have to buy another phone just to have this one shipped off.
