BB Torch :: Search Results Not Displayed
Feb 22, 2011When I try to search in any of my personal email accounts, it lists the number of results, and the most recent date, but none of the actual emails display in the search window.This only happens with personal email, my enterprise email search functions normally.Also, I have a Facebook icon in the notification/quick access area that won't go away.I think I clicked in and out of the Facebook app too quickly and it didn't clear. Can these notifications be removed?

Jun 7, 2010this may have been covered already but I'm new here (is that an excuse?).I can't get any search results with ovi maps on or offline, constantly say `No Results Found'. By manually searching the map I can then start navigation that but not by searching. At the moment I am reinstalling he maps via the map loader to see if that works.

Jul 11, 2012Using Voice Search on my RAZR MAXX, using it for the automatic commands, I'm getting odd results. Here's a specific example...
speaking ... "Call Mom mobile" - This comes up w/ the display that's about to call a number, but it has the wrong number. The screenshot has the number blocked out and I aded "Wrong Number" on top of it, but so people could see what stage I'm at.This also occurs using the autocomplete when sending a text message. I type in "mom" and the WRONG contact shows up in the drop down below (wrong name, wrong number). *** It is important to note here that the WRONG contact that shows up in this case MATCHES the wrong contact that shows up w/ Voice Search.This used to work just fine, I've used it for months. But it's recently stopped working.
So, using "People" (which is listed as "Contacts" in manage apps?! - so, under Apps, only "People" is listed, no "Contacts" ... under manage apps, no "People" entry is listed, only "Contacts") on my phone - entry for "Mom" is NOT present. But, an entry using her first / last is there. The number is present, the wrong number is not.Getting online to check my contacts directly with google - there IS an entry for "Mom", with the correct number, the wrong number is not there. If I do a search for the wrong number, it takes me to the correct contact (not Mom), if I search for Mom's number, it pulls up the correct contact (Mom).
Motorola Atrix 2 :: App Search Results Force Close
Feb 29, 2012From the home screen if you go to "All apps" (btw.... I have 6 and a half pages of apps) and go to the second page of apps and hit the "Search" button at the bottom right hand side of your Atrix 2, it will result in a Force Close of the (process com.motorola.home). I have restarted my phone multiple time and have also taken out the battery. I have 3.7GB of free space on my Internal storage.

Mar 1, 2010First off, let me apologize in advance if what I'm about to ask has already been answered (I did a search, but I didn't find anything helpful)OK, so I got a new shiny N95, updated firmware to 31.0.015, installed OVI maps 3.0, so on and so forth. Whenever I try to search for an address I get a (very) brief "searching online" progress bar, but every time I get "no results found", regardless if I'm searching for a full address or just a city.

Jun 9, 2014Just got my M8 Friday and I absolutely love it so far. However, both me and my husband have tried tirelessly to find how to search Google, or the Play Store, or other places in the phone with a search bar. We came from the Droid Razr (talk about an upgrade!) and that had a "GO" button to tell Google to search more than just the drop-down, suggested searches results. Is there anything on the M8 that is equivalent - to make Google actually search what you typed in, rather than having to choose from suggestions (which usually aren't what you want)?

Dec 11, 2014Since iOS8.1, spotlight search no longer seems to be able to find apps on my device.I have 450 apps, and have used spotlight search since it was first introduced to find apps buried in directories on various home screens. I've tried turning off all other areas spotlight search can search, leaving only applications, yet that doesn't work. Most recent iOS8.1.2 update still has this issue.

Jun 9, 2010So after I loaded up 4.0 on my 3Gs, I was playing around, and went into the App store, and next to a few apps, I'll use Pandora as an example, next to where it says how much the app costs, it has a + next to it. At first I thought, maybe it shows if you have it installed, went to another app that I have installed, wasn't there. Then I thought maybe gift the app, but Pandora is free, why would you gift a free app? Then I thought, well this is how you show if an app will be made for multitasking, so i checked Skype, wasn't there. So i was wondering if anyone had an idea of what the + means. And I think it's only 4.0 related because my friends who are still on 3.1.3 don't see it in their app store.

IPhone :: The App Store Won't Let Me Download Any Apps
Jul 2, 20123 days ago, I was able to update my apps. But when I tried to download new apps, it doesn't allow me now. When i clicked on "purchase/free", it just gave me a broken "install" box. Even the screenshot of the apps is broken. I already tried the reset but still it doesn't work. Is it true that Apple has updated the app store, so the 3rd generation software isn't able to get anything from the app store anymore?
