After an update, I've been unable to run OVi in my Windows XP Professional 2002, SP3. I get The following Application Error:The instruction at "0x670573e3" reference memory at "0x00000068". The memory could not be "read"..No success after fresh install or repairing, even after deletion of any OVI related folder.Any help?

I dont have any problems with my phone as such for calling purposes.But I do have problems connecting to internet via my PC running windows 7. All the drivers are correctly installed but the phone wont dial a connection. I get the error.Error 692: There was a hardware failure in the modem (or other connecting device).

I was able to use Ovi suite fine before I recently reinstalled XP on my system. But now when I connect the N8 I get the "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" error. Have tried uninstalling and re-adding the hardware, but keep getting the same problem. Have tried installing drivers from the download on the Nokia site, version 7.1.34.0, but it refuses to do so, telling me I have more up to date drivers already installed (although the installed ones seem to be 7.1.32.62, which is older, isn't it..?)

I have bought this mobile phone for one month, and I can't use the app manager.I have searched in other forums but I didn't find any useful answer.So I going to explain my problems: Always that I run the app manager it prompts a message that says: "Operation fail" maybe it's not a correct translation, I have the phone in Spanish. Ok if I press the download icon it appears that there are not available applications, if I do the same with the update icon appears the same text and the "operation fail" message.If I try to download anything from the OVI or from maemo.org, It start to do it but a few second later it pront the next message: "Impossible download ........" "don't find the package from the app" this appears with everything I try to download.Someone can help me? maybe I need to do something in my mobile.The only thing I have done is upgrade it to the software version: 10.2010.19-1

I will be using it on Simple Mobile, but I haven't purchased the SIM card or service yet (I will when my Virgin Mobile month is up). I've played around with the phone though, hoping to use it on the WiFi network at my college. I heard that the Mango update may allow me to access hidden SSID networks--is this true? Anyways, I was syncing the phone with the Zune software, adding music and such, and tried to update the phone because it said an update was available (not the Mango update...but I was going to try to force the Mango update after updating to the version it wanted me to--7.07 I think?). Every time I try to update it, it takes forever saying "installing" then it says it failed, with the error code C0000005. Is the update failing because I don't have a SIM card in the phone? .
Update: just tried again...this time it got through installing and restoring/restarting the phone, then it said the update failed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen up connect my Atrix to my computer via the USB cable, I get the message, "Do you want to scan and fix MB860?" as wells as "Do you want to scan and fix SD card?" This happens on a Windows Vista and on a Windows 7 computer. The problem is not that I do not disconnect properly from the computer, as I always click that "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the tray (isn't that what they call it?) down on the right of the Taskbar, and then click the proper choice before unplugging the cable. If I tell it I do want to scan and fix, there is never any problem found after the scanning.

I bought an app at the BB App World a few weeks ago but I cant open the application. When I try to open it, I got screen message saying - Uncaught exception: Source y offset must be greater than 0. I tried reinstalling the app, battery pulls and even emailing the customer service team who made the app but still no answer from them. I have no problems whatsoever if its a free app but I actually bought the app for USD 2.00. Its not much but its still money.
