Is there a way to use my N8 as a microphone for my PC for chatting? My desktop has neither a webcam nor a microphone. So i found an application(epocCam) to use my N8 as a webcam for my skype. PS: I tried the mobile version of skype on my N8, but it does not support video calls)

Usually, Google Talk supports multiple clients being active, you can have it running at the same time on your PC, on your laptop and your android phone. But not on your N8 phone! The client on my Nokia works, but as soon as another client is started, say, on PC, it disconnects.

View 8 Replies View RelatedTwo moths ago, there was an update to nokia chat. I've installed it, but afer that nokia chat ceased to function. When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.

I have just installed my ck-200 and all works absolelty perfectly EXCEPT no one can hear me! The microphone in the onscreen display does not appear to be working. I have doulbe checked all the connections - it was a very simply plug and play install, but I checked again anyway and all is plugged in.

I didn't find any trace of such digital mic, be it analogue or digital... the in-built mic is of course not stereo, and the mic in the remote isn't also, leave apart being 'digital'

I have Nokia 5800 phone and I've just bought a BH-108 bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, when I connect the headset to my phone, I encounter a pretty much peculiar problem - the phone doesn't get any sound from the headset microphone. I can clearly hear anything through it, but the phone can't hear me, nor can the people when I call them. When I am calling, I can hear the person otherside, but they can't hear me. When I try to use a voice command the phone just doesn't get my voice and I get "no match found". I am sure that my headset works properly, because I gave it a try with few other Nokia phones and they got my voice normally.

Yesterday everything was fine, but today when I make or receive calls, people can't hear me speak, while I can hear them perfectly. I tried the recorder, but when I make a record, again I don't hear anything when I play it, so the problem must be in the microphone. I haven't dropped or hit my phone, no accidents, nothing. I even tried the ovi chat and i got the same problem. It says "Authorization failed" with a NOKIA banner on top. I wonder if it is the problem of NOKIA server or just my phone?
