I didn't find any trace of such digital mic, be it analogue or digital... the in-built mic is of course not stereo, and the mic in the remote isn't also, leave apart being 'digital'
I'd love using my mobile to capture musical ideas on the fly, or outdoor ambiences, but all attempts using the included recorder app are far from acceptable quality, no matter the file resolution or using inbuilt or remote mic...user ' grschinon' states in the thread /t5/Nseries-Devices-and-S60/5800-mic-or-line-level-input-for-recording-audio/m-p/479174 that an external mic can be plugged in it... could anybody please explain how?

Sep 14, 2012I have Nokia 5800 phone and I've just bought a BH-108 bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, when I connect the headset to my phone, I encounter a pretty much peculiar problem - the phone doesn't get any sound from the headset microphone. I can clearly hear anything through it, but the phone can't hear me, nor can the people when I call them. When I am calling, I can hear the person otherside, but they can't hear me. When I try to use a voice command the phone just doesn't get my voice and I get "no match found". I am sure that my headset works properly, because I gave it a try with few other Nokia phones and they got my voice normally.

Yesterday everything was fine, but today when I make or receive calls, people can't hear me speak, while I can hear them perfectly. I tried the recorder, but when I make a record, again I don't hear anything when I play it, so the problem must be in the microphone. I haven't dropped or hit my phone, no accidents, nothing. I even tried to restart it, but it still didn't work.

Haven't tested NFC yet) at random times and I can't reconnect. It always says after that it can't connect and the connections are unavailable.After turning the phone off and then on again, everything is back to normal. I can normally connect to the 3G connection, Wi-Fi and USB.It's pretty annoying as I always have to restart my phone in order to connect via USB or to the Internet when it happens.Anyone else who is experiencing the same problem or has any solutions to this?

The phone works fine with BT devices that were already paired but won't pair new ones. I've tried the new Headset on another phone and no problems, even my computer pairs with it so it's my N8 for sure.

If any advise comes from nokia maps, the connections interrupt via fm-transmitter completly.During the time of the nokia maps advise both, music and nokia maps, sending the sound via phone. Nov 14, 2012i'm using a nokia n8 phone and i used to keep a copy of my photos and videos on my pc using nokia suite, i just clicked on the gallery sync. button and it was done.i recently bought a new memory card and i started downloading videos by the (Internet downloader) app. i have now like 7gb of videos on my memory card.the problem is that now every time i try to sync. the gallery, nokia suite makes a copy of all downloaded videos on my computer. is it possible to set nokia suite to sync. only the photos and the videos taken by the camera and ignore the downloaded videos?

When I entered it, it just said "Service temporarily unavailable.lease try later". Same thing happened with Social. I hoped that this would get solved with symbian anna, but it didn't. Now, when i enter the app, only the loading screen appears, the one with welcome to ovi, an then nothing. It just exits the app. Note that I uninstalled and reinstalled these apps many, many times, but still, they do not work.
