Recently my 700 phone as weird problem. When I connect the data cable with PC nothing happens. The nokia suite or data transfer, media etc., nothing works. The connection manager usb shows not connected. I tried soft reset, restart etc but nothing works. The data cable is ok, I checked on my another 603.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot get the media transfer to work with my 808 pureview, it worked fine with my E7 running Anna, but it just get stuck "searching for device" when I plug the 808 in. If I set the 808 to media transfer I get the message "your 808 is not in a mode used for media transfer" then when I swtich it back to Nokia Suite, media transfer gets stuck looking for a device?

"Could not sign in. Nokia Ovi Suite could not connect to the Nokia account server. Make sure the internet connection is working properly and try again."
My internet is connected! I manually sign into Ovi.com with no problem. No proxies or anything like that. I have repaired and re-installed the Nokia Ovi Suite on my PC several times and updated expired certificates as was recommended in some threads here. Still no luck! it used to work like a charm before
Currently touring overseas and internal memory was getting filled with media, transferred to SD card but found an empty folder after completion. Is there any way to find the lost media or reattain them? I really hope there's a solution as I lost quite a few hundreds of photos...

View 9 Replies View Related I have installed the latest version of PC Suite and the Upgrade Program. It links correctly with my 5800 Express Music Phone and updated the Firmware succesfully. However I can no longer play MP4 videos on Windows Media Player 11 or Windows Media Centre. I did not tick any of the association boxes when installing the software. Only the playback of MP4 files is affected. I was able to transfer a Video to the Phone. I have tried re-associated mp4 files back to wmp but still no luck. I have ended up uninstalling the Suite and doing a System Restore to get back functionality.
I liked the Suite very much but if it causes problems with my Media Centre and wmp there is no use installing it. I would very much appreciate any suggestions on how to sort out this problem and what may be causing it. OS is Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit version. I am connecting the phone via the USB Cable.
i'm facing a trouble transfering my music from my notebook to my nokia 5230, using Nokia Ovi Suite of course.it seems that Ovi put the music in my smartphone, but checking on the phone i don't see any file. checking on the memory card details (App->Office->Files Management) in the Music folder i can see those files, but they are not in the Music Player...
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe N8 is supposed to be used with OVI Suite, but if possible, I'd also like to be able to use it with PC Suite. The latest version of PC Suite won't allow this (not compatible) but an older version seems to accept the N8. I saw in a discussion at Nokia Beta Labs that I can also install a late version of PC Suite. It's 32.2 megs in size. (The newer versions of PC Suite install on my computer, but tell me to use OVI Suite for my N8.)
With the version I downloaded from hotshare installed, PC Suite recognized my N8. It also displayed a message saying PC Suite must be updated to support new features, and told me to click on "help" and then the update link. I did that, and the next message was "Do you want to install PC Suite on your mobile phone (N8-00)?"
I have a couple of pictures on my old 6010. I wanted to transfer them to my PC through PC Suite, which I use with some other phones these days, but it seems that this app is not compatible with 6010.

So I do and it downloads ok, all 272MB of it, but it keeps on disconnecting when trying to install to the N8. The phone switches off and stays off. View 6 Replies View RelatedI want to transfer all the images from my E75 memory card into 1 directory on my PC. For this, the PC Suite 7 Image Transfer seems like a handy tool. However, I synced the pictures earlier with the subfolders by accident.I then deleted the picture files and subfolders and expected the Image Transfer software to notice this. But the software says that the last sync was done and there are no new images to transfer. I guess the date is in registry or a config file but the PC Suite program directory is a mess so I cant find the file?

When i connect the cable it asks for option & then i select PC-SUITE.
In the phone nothing gets displayed, not even a USB logo & phone is not connected through pc-SUITE.
But it connects very well through MASS STORAGE.

My USB port is working fine as I am able to charge and connect in media transfer mode. It just doesn't work when the OVI suite mode is enabled.how I can work around this please. I use OVI suite a lot as I do most of my messaging through the PC. When will Nokia release a new edition of the OVI Suite that will work well with Windows 8. On once occasion, I was able to reinstall OVI suite by right clicking and selecting Windows 7 in compatibility settings and by running the program as administrator. However, even that doesn't seem to be working anymore.

View 6 Replies View Relatedi just got an Nokia N8 from a friend of mine, and i wanted to fully update it, but whenever i try to update it to Belle it gives an error saying "Nokia update suite service is unavailable", sometimes it reaches 119/124 mb, or 95/100 mb or 21/26 mb and then i get the error.and sometimes it reaches 124/124, 100/100, 26/26 mb but it then says "5000 minutes left to finish download" it stays at that point for about a minute and then i get the above mentioned error.if it matters the phone is from another country than my own.i searched all over the nokia discussions forum and i saw there were numerous similar posts, i did everything it was suggested there but it still hasnt worked.
so how can i get the belle update?
