i bought a n97 smart phone. its gps doesnt lock any more. my phone F.W is v21.0.045. on the roof connect with 150m accuracy. when i took my ohone on the cooler, the accuracy will 50m. i think the anntena has problem. maybe a dissconnect from board. i get my phones service manual.
View 9 Repliesi tried formatting my phone today and when they asked the lock code i tried entering 12345 which is the default one, but it is not working. when i go to change the lock code and when i enter 12345 there they are accepting it and asking me to enter new lock but when i enter the new one and confirm it they are saying as "code error ". can anyone help me to reset my lock code or fix this problem somehow. and i am also facing the problem of messages going to outbox saying "you have to delete some data 1st and memory is full " . But there is lot of space left in my phone memory and memory card . tried usign both but still facing the same problem .

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new Huawei Android smart watch and I enabled Smart Lock so that as long as the phone and watch were connected by Bluetooth the phone would remain unlocked. If they are not connected, my fingerprint would unlock the phone. But enabling Smart Lock seems to have no effect - the phone remains locked when connected to the watch. I have rebooted the phone multiple times after turning off security and Smart Lock then turning them both back on after rebooting.

I just got my Blackberry Bold 9780 last night and the 'lock/unlock' button on the top left doesn't work at all. It feels somewhat sticky - the mute key on the right side makes a clicky sound when pressed down whereas the lock button just presses in without making any contact. I understand that you can set a password but that is rather inconvenient as you have to wait 1 minute for it to lock and every time I want to use the phone I have to type in a code. I can lock the phone by holding down A/* but then there is no way of unlocking it again. the phone came with the holster because that seems to unlock it for me - but this is obviously less than ideal.What can I do? Is there a shortcut to unlocking like on the Curve 8520 (a/* and the call button)?

Smart Lock for Trusted devices (that is, bluetooth) works fine. however, Trusted places does NOT work EVER.
i can add Trusted places such as Home, my office, etc.... but it does nothing. no matter what, it won't allow me two swipe up to access the phone- it requires my PIN 100% of the time.
Location Mode is High accuracy (GPS and networks).
I've rebooted many times. I've added, removed, and added places... no place ever works for this feature.
In the last week or so, my trusted places and devices has stopped working and I get asked for my fingerprint every time.

I have been using bold2-9700 for the past 2 years and till today I havent faced any problem with it but recently, like 3 months back I bought a new bold 4-9900. It was working fine but by the second month it started giving me hangs and it got a bit slow, I know that was expected so I dint really care much but from the past 2-3 days I have been facing a new problem; my bold 4-9900 lock button is not working at all, I have even checked the settings but I could not find any thing related to it, I am really tensed as it has just been 3 months and it has given me problems.
The second problem I have facing is my scroll is not working properly as well, If I am on the menu then I am not able to scroll up or down unless and until I touch the screen. I went and checked the settings as well but no luck, but I did notice that when ever I open something on the right corner EN box appears and I think that is the thing which is not allowing the scroll to move. Please help me out as I dont want to give it for repair.

I have an iPhone 4 that the lock button stopped working. with out the warrantee or Ins. on it. View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since I updated the softward on my device (about a week ago) my lock function doesn't work. I have set all the same securities as before (Options/Password/Enable) however when I push the "Lock" button on the top of the device it only locks they keypad. If I push it again it simply unlocks the device, it does not prompt for a password. I have to wait for the device to reach it's security time out before there is a password prompt to unlock.
