I have been used Nokia phone for several years, and my current used phone is Nokia N97.I ever to know when will Nokia Symbian change the message function into conversation style like iPhone or others. Will N97 firmware update to v31.xxx and change the message function?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

I just downloaded the application Ibird Pro and it installed. Now when I try to use it the splash screen appears and then I get the message that "Ibird cannot function without a SD card"There is a 16 Gig SD card installed in the Bionic. Why does it not see the card and what can I do to fix this.

Since, I do not have a subscription for multimedia messages with my service provider, the message remains in the outbox and never gets sent.
Can someone advice why the text message converts to multimedia message? How to prevent this from happening everytime I send/forward text message to more than 10 people from the contacts list?

In the morning the alarm rings, and I like the snooze function, I snooze several times (5 minutes).However, every now and then, the phone will not ring after a few snoozes, but will remain silent (and I get late).Usually does it after 25 minutes (5 snoozes),I cannot switch the phone on - I have to take out the battery, and put it back.Then it will immediately ring - usually shows the last snooze time, but of course I will have to set the time.It has been to the service, but this problem has remaind, but it is very annoying, usually it is very important not to be late!

For some use, it would be nice to have wifi function (free hotspot without France per exemple), so I'm looking for solutions on Web. I've found an application "bluetooth-wlan-convert" (!!!) but I can't install it on my 5230 to test it (not compatible). I also have seen a microSD card with wlan function but it seems to work only on Windows CE or Linux based smartphones (http://www.chipchick.com /2006/09/spectecs_micros.html). If the price was acceptable, do you think if it could be use on Symbian based phones with an appropriate application ? Do you know other way for having wifi function on phone without wifi?

Normally if i touch the left arrow under and then spacebar u get the search lamp with more symbols now i have to touch them at the same time. whats wrong? if i do the arrow first and 1 sec later the spacebar is doenst work, then got a space. View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using PC Suite 7.1.40.6, under Windows XP Pro SP3. I have a 6600 fold phone, with the latest firmware (5.60). I connect via USB cable. PC Suite works perfectly apart for one thing. I cannot get the Sync function to work at all. If I run it, the program starts, and shows the phone as being properly detected and connected. However, if I press the Sync button or the Settings button, absolutely nothing happens! No error messages, just nothing. The only thing I have which I can sync with is Outlook Express, but surely even if I had no compatible programs installed I should still get something when I press the Settings button at least? I've tried repairing/reinstalling PC Suite and no difference. As i said, all other functions work fine.

I was wondering if it was possible to get around this by changing some settings so that either -the phone will emit sound through both the 'headset' and the output part where you normally put your ear when phoning. -the phone will ignore the 'headset' altogether and only emit sound the way it would if no headset were inserted.
