I am looking to get a phone with SIP function.I am thinking either E66 or E71.When I turn the wifi on and with the SIP registered.How long can the battery last?Which model last longer?
View 15 RepliesI've a Nokia 5230 since a week. I knew it has no wifi when I bought it. For some use, it would be nice to have wifi function (free hotspot without France per exemple), so I'm looking for solutions on Web. I've found an application "bluetooth-wlan-convert" (!!!) but I can't install it on my 5230 to test it (not compatible). I also have seen a microSD card with wlan function but it seems to work only on Windows CE or Linux based smartphones (http://www.chipchick.com /2006/09/spectecs_micros.html). If the price was acceptable, do you think if it could be use on Symbian based phones with an appropriate application ? Do you know other way for having wifi function on phone without wifi?

And sometimes it simply tells the caller that I am engaged. I don't understand it, but would prefer incoming calls to override the podcast playback.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post to this forum and i am really hoping for some help. I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Phone. It is about 7 months old and has developed a really annoying and frustrating fault over the past few days - progressively no getting worse by the hour it would seem. The phone freezes after receiving a text, phone call, internet usage or just generally pressing one of the function buttons. Some times if you wait long enough it does free itself but more often than not it will end up me removing the battery to reset the handset. Nothing appears to work properly on it anymore - the battery appears to drain within hours of charge. Really fed up with it now. Carphone Warehouse and Orange are blamming each other ( no change there). Yes i can take it to a repair centre who will either do it on site ro send away. I have completed a soft reset but has made no difference. I am now tempted to do a complete hard reset once backing up my contents etc

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've had my LG G3 6 months now, and overall I like it - but I *loathe* the swipe to answer calls function! 9 times out of 10 it doesn't work and so I keep missing calls whilst furiously swiping & jabbing my finger over the screen. Is there any way I can change it to something more simple, like pressing the home key? I've looked through all of the settings and googled, but can't seem to find a way around it.

I have a k850i Sony Ericsson and I am so proud to have it. The problem is that lately it is too slow. I think it has a virus. I scanned it and proved it. Do u think if I cleaned it. With an anti-virus it will cease to function.

The phone will still vibrate and function fine except for ringing or letting me know about alert/alarms. I am on the latest firmware 45.4.13 but this issue has been ongoing for the past 3 firmware upgrades I have done. I have done factore resets multiple times and ran nothing but stock apps for a full month but it contnues to happen. Honestly it does not bother me to remember to reboot by phone each night but i have missed two VERY important calls because I was in another room and did not hear it ring.

In the morning the alarm rings, and I like the snooze function, I snooze several times (5 minutes).However, every now and then, the phone will not ring after a few snoozes, but will remain silent (and I get late).Usually does it after 25 minutes (5 snoozes),I cannot switch the phone on - I have to take out the battery, and put it back.Then it will immediately ring - usually shows the last snooze time, but of course I will have to set the time.It has been to the service, but this problem has remaind, but it is very annoying, usually it is very important not to be late!

However, when people call me, it does not show them as a saved contact, it just shows the number.This is frustrating and is a continuation of a long list of problems with my E66. Normally if i touch the left arrow under and then spacebar u get the search lamp with more symbols now i have to touch them at the same time. whats wrong? if i do the arrow first and 1 sec later the spacebar is doenst work, then got a space. So the Spacebar( more symbols ) only work if u touch them at the same time.( leftunder arrow and spacebar )
