I really struggle with the wifi on my N900. When I want to see emails I have to disconnect from the wifi and change to 3G otherwise get an error message. Also can only download apps if via 3G - again have to disconnect from home wifi. Also cannot use the iplayer - probably because over wifi? Anyone else have this problem?

Instead I receive a message "Incorrect Number".The problem is this. My mobile service provider has given me a number to check my balance and last 3 call charges by dialing the following numbers:

*143#
But the above numbers are identified to be invalid in Nokia N900.
I have a client who says she is unable to either check her account balance or load a recharge voucher. when she types for example *556#, she gets an "invalid number" response.

View 9 Replies View RelatedJust bought a device and found that I cannot connect to the home WiFi internet. It's terribly sad, because the main reason of buying this product was exactly i-net. When I connect it asks me to input "preliminary" (?) PSK code. Then it tells me that PSK key is wrong. I can connect using Nokia 5800, PSP, both laptops and my PocketLOOX 570, but N900 cannot. Even if I go to "set up coneections", and go step by step. It can see the wireless itself, no problem. when I set up identification, I choose WPA-PSK (is it correct?) and print in the key. Then same story happen. It cannot connect , and says "connection error", or something like that. That's it. What am I doing wrong there?

(Yes/No are the possibles answers). Well I click No to connect to the internet while I am in offline mode, but nothing happens then! It connects without a problem without a SIM card or when I am not in offline mode. Is that supposed to happen? No Internet in Offline Mode?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi realy your help in this one, now i live in Lebanon, and i'm searching for a n900, but the other day my freind told that you can't check for your balance in your phone operartor, is that true, were i live, you need to recharge your phone in before you make phone calls, send messages etc, and to see how much dollars(or what ever its called) you still have in what you have recharged, you need to press *11# and than the green button, and than a message shows up showing you your phone operator balance, is it true that that can't be done on the n900? i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.
View 23 Replies View RelatedSometimes I want to use my wifi to access emails or twitter or bbm. This is when I have a large mail, or when my mobile network is down. I have unlimited data package with my provider, but sometimes the network is slow, and I want to use Wifi only.
So, I switch off network, and try to browse ONLY through Wifi (having setup wifi in the BB).
I can browse at this condition (like use browser, or some App like What's App), but I CANNOT check mails, nor use BBM or twitter or facebook. It simply won't work if I switch mobile network OFF. Says Radio OFF.
Can this be done? Can I access mails ONLY through Wifi?
is there any way to check my email on a C3-01 only using wifi connection? ( I never connect to internet by network due to crazy costs!) When I try to check I get a message saying "communication error, please try later" I know there is no communication problem 'cos I can go to web pages etc ( while on WiFi)

The sync icon in the top screen is constantly going, so I thought maybe it would have something to do with that (I am really not good with anything technology related so I don't know). I did a hard reset and nothing changed. Also, I am able to connect wirelessly on my laptop and other devices. It was honestly working one minute, not working the next. Its served this purpose very well.I know from past experience it doesnt like being taken away from my router....I did this by mistake a week or ago and I wondered if this would throw the settings out. i want to buy a nokia phone but hesite between two phones : E72 and E75, does anybody could sould me to buy, i want in this order:
1/ good web browsing and mails speed
2/ GPS compass for wikitude drive
3/ playing game as uae4all with good speed
at the start of my search i would absolutly the N900 after seeing lot of but and battery life i go back to another phone and see that best battery life is normal phone with keyboard not with touchscreen so i hesitate beetwen the E75 with big screen and new E72.

1.When i delete any mails from my gmail inbox folder it's going into to delete folder.After Deleting the mails from the delete folder or empty the delete folder when i do syncronise then again the same mails are geting in the inbox and all mails folder.This is the issue i want to get solved?
