BB Bold :: Cannot Check Mail Or BBM When Using ONLY Wifi ...

Sometimes I want to use my wifi to access emails or twitter or bbm. This is when I have a large mail, or when my mobile network is down. I have unlimited data package with my provider, but sometimes the network is slow, and I want to use Wifi only.
So, I switch off network, and try to browse ONLY through Wifi (having setup wifi in the BB).
I can browse at this condition (like use browser, or some App like What's App), but I CANNOT check mails, nor use BBM or twitter or facebook. It simply won't work if I switch mobile network OFF. Says Radio OFF.
Can this be done? Can I access mails ONLY through Wifi?
I try to check my mail via Mail application at Nokia 302. So I try to add new Windows Live Hotmail account, insert login and password, but after that the system said that I inserted incorrect login or password.
I thought that Mail application can't see special symbols (#,!,...), but I have such problem for password with only small letters and digits.
I have really wanted this feature, i dont like waiting 15 minutes to see if theres a new email, i love how my mac checks for email every minute, and i wish my phone would do this too. does anybody know how a package on cydia that does this? even if i could get it to 10 minutes it would be better.
I cannot check voice mail as it blacks out constantly as I try to press option keys, ie 7 to save. This is very frustrating. I need it to stay active longer than 2 sec. before blacking out to save the battery
I have five email accounts linked 3 Gmail, one MobileMe, and one Live.It's taking like 2-3 minutes to send an email (even one with just a few words), and when I open Mail, and hit the refresh button, its taking several minutes for it to go off "Checking for mail". Any ideas? I've tried resetting network settings.This is an iPhone 4 w/ iOS 4.0
Love my new Lumia 900. One odd issue I can't solve and AT&T can't solve. They referred me to Nokia. When I check a voice mail and delete it, I get a blank text message from 1-(000)-000-0000. I get one for every deleted voice mail. AT&T says there is no setting for this.
I really struggle with the wifi on my N900. When I want to see emails I have to disconnect from the wifi and change to 3G otherwise get an error message. Also can only download apps if via 3G - again have to disconnect from home wifi. Also cannot use the iplayer - probably because over wifi? Anyone else have this problem?
is there any way to check my email on a C3-01 only using wifi connection? ( I never connect to internet by network due to crazy costs!) When I try to check I get a message saying "communication error, please try later" I know there is no communication problem 'cos I can go to web pages etc ( while on WiFi)
I brought a new BB 8520 last night. Now I am trying to connect my BB device with wifi, it shows that my device is connect with wifi. But the moment I try to use internet on it, it gives me a message that check your settings. I did the settings again and again. But no result shows. How I can use it.
My phone connects to my home wifi network, but then when I go to open and use any app internet related, it doesn't work and says to check my connection. The sync icon in the top screen is constantly going, so I thought maybe it would have something to do with that (I am really not good with anything technology related so I don't know). I did a hard reset and nothing changed. Also, I am able to connect wirelessly on my laptop and other devices. It was honestly working one minute, not working the next. I didn't download or make any changes to anything on my phone.
The wifi antenna regularly turning itself on to check for signal is a cool feature, but it opens over running applications causing the background application to freeze (most notable with my flashlight app) or run without me and not accept any input (many games). Set this to only request to connect to a network if no other apps are running.
This is really bothering me.I have a yahoo mail account set up on my phone - It has been on there for over a year - it has always worked this way - If I get an email (the phone goes "bing") and i read it on the computer - and responded and delete it on the computer it would be removed from the phone the next time i looked. Recently I began noticing that the message is not being delated from the phone if I delete it from the mailbox, and I can't figure out why.
Basically I want to be able to read the message on the computer and hit delete and for it do the same thing on my blackberry and vise versa. Now it seems to work if I delete the message on the BB then it will not be in the Mailbox on the computer.
i am using bb since 4 years. i now switched to bb bold 9700 which has wi-fi and 3g. i need help on following topics, sorry if this is repeat question but i searched all possible solutions on website but remained failed.
1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.
for some reason my blackberry bold touch 9900 doesnt spell check anymore (when a word is spelt wrong it has a dashed line underneath the misspelled word and gives you suggestions or correct spelling suggestions), how do i reactivate spell check for my sms and emails? its really starting to bug me, because my auto correct still works but spell check doesnt!
Now that Google Sync is dead, I think I need to sync my google calendar and contacts with my bb using BIS. Mail is syncing correctly. But BIS gives me no option to sync calendar and contacts... there is no box to check for these.What am I missing? Should I be looking elsewhere other than BIS? BB 9790 OS 7.1.0.523.
After updating to the new software my Bold 9930 does not have spell check on it anymore... I looked in the options menu under Typing and Language and Spell Check is not there. Word substitution is still there however.
Is there a data usage counter on the phone that I can check to see amount of data upl and download? I know att provides it but I want to check usage during my Intl trip to London.
I can connect with my Black Berry to Wifi, but when I open the browser I always get the message Can not connect, check the network settings. I got the problem with every browser I try. It seems that my device can't create an IP adres.

Just tried to sync my blackberry with outlook and got the following error code 0x0043ac9. I have read some solutions about the problem of having the SMS one thread issue, but I really have a different problem.My incoming SMS, comes under different person name, as Example when I have to SMSs from two Users User (A) and User (B), the sms sent from user (A) shows up in the thread of User (B) which is a big mess.
More over when I choose options >> View Folders >> SMS Inbox Then I can see the real sender of the SMS but still when I press open or delete, I can't do anything
I did something and now all of a sudden my spell check function is underlining almost every word (even those spelled correctly) and making bizarre correction suggestions. The options for changing spell check settings are limited and haven't resolved the issue.
