I use the Opera's mail client on the PC for my mails. I wanted to know if there are any programs for nokia 5800 that can sync and retrieve/download new/old mails from the PC to the phone.

I just wanna ask why when I'm trying to download themes from m.tehkseven.net using the phone's browser when I tap on the theme I want, it didn't start downloading instead they bring me to a white blank page with lots of weird looking letters (I have no idea what it is) but when I used my N97 to download it's fine no blank page or anything.

My version is v31 and I bought my phone in spain but when I opened I said made in hungary when I check the code if there's some update it tells me that v31 is the most recent one can I download the firmware and install it without the NSU? or there's anything else to do?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got a nokia 5800 xpressmusic few months back. Phone's software is updated to version 40.2.005 and latest ovi maps v 3.04 is also present. I wanted to get the free navigation service and and connected my phone to ovi suite for downloading country maps. However, got the following error after clicking on the "update maps" section: Cannot find maps or voice guidance files in your device. this is due to either of the following reasons:
-Your device doesn't support the nokia maps application
- The maps and voice guidance files in your device are corrupted."
I have 2 nokia 5800's. Both on Virgin Mobile. 1 has been updated to v40.0.005 but mine is using V31.0.101, i like the look of the new version but why cant i download the new software. i have tried using *#0000# and downloading the so called up-to date version straight from the Nokia support site but it wont give me the new version.please help.

Many of the apps like: Touch Guitar, Piano, Flute, SmartGaurd and etc., are not working on my mobile which I bought very recently. They either give an error saying,"App expired on Jun'10 (but we are still in June 2010 Month)

get installed without any issues, but are NEVER working (when tried opening, nothing happens on the screen) Also followed the same instructions specifed on the website as, "Download on your PC and then transfer it to your device using the Nokia PC Suite" apart from trying to install from Memory Card.
I read everywhere, including Nokia website, that I can download the official WLM client for my 5800 from Ovi store. However, I cannot find it anywhere, no matter how hard I search. When I search for "windows live" in Ovi, the only results are Nimbuzz, eBuddy and IM+. Where do I find WLM for my 5800?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having major problems transferring my music to my new Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic. I have downloaded all my music onto the Ovi plalyer but when I connect my phone a message pops up on the phone asking me to select USB mode and choose between, 'PC Suite', 'Mass Storage', Image transfer', or media transfer. No matter which one I choose I can see no option on the Ovi player where |I can sync the phone and transfer my music to it (as per my ipod and itunes which is pretty straightforward!)
I'm assuming I can actually do this through Ovi player?I have managed to transfer my music onto the phone from windows media player but it saves into a 'music' folder and not onto the music player. The only way I can access this music is by going into 'applications' from the main menu, then, 'file manager' then 'memory card' then the music is listed but it's driving me mental by not being on the proper music player.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed Nokia Messaging on my 5800 and it was working fine for a month or so. Now it has simply stopped syncing. WiFi / TMobile connection does not matter. Even if I click on "Send/Receive" it does not connect. (the connection indicator at the top-right is always grey - indicating no connection.)
So I deleted my GMail account and recreated it on the email.nokia.com website. Now when I try to send/receive it atleast shows the green 'connecting' icon and then goes back to grey. If I look at the connection info it says 'sync failed'. The logs show 'Sync stopped'.
Was using PC Suite 1.1 without a problem, then upgraded to Ovi Suite 2.1 and now can't sync Calender. Everything looks as though it's going fine... the task bar says syncing and gets right to the end, before displaying error code Sync Cancelled 80043c93

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a 5800XM phone and I had apps from OVI that I downloaded. I restored it to factory defaults and updated firmware which were both successful. However, now I can't download apps from OVI that I have downloaded before the restoration to factory defaults. I can download other apps from OVI fine. Only the apps that I previously downloaded have the "Download" button disabled or grayed out.

Why is taking so long to sync what must only be a few KB of data? I have less than 100 contacts in there.
It's a joke...and another reason I'm never buying another Nokia again as long as I live.
I delete mais on Blackberry 9300, but those mails are still exist in Outlook.If I delete mails on Outlook, it sync to BB normally.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently had to reformat my memory card as the camera refused to work with the memory card inserted. I took off all pics, videos and music and saved them to the computer. However, when I've gone back to the Ovi store and into the "my stuff" tab, I cannot click the download button on many of the apps (mainly the ones that I actually use which makes it even more annoying). My husband has told me to go into "settings", then "application manager", then finally into "installed apps" and delete the files for the apps that I would like to reinstall (to reactivate the download button again). fantastic idea, but the file names don't give me any sort of clue as to what app they're for. I asked if it would be quicker and easier just to delete everything from the "installed apps" folder, at which point my husband nearly had a breakdown and told me not to do that as there were files in that folder that relate to firmware downloads and could cause more problems by deleting them.

Its served this purpose very well.I know from past experience it doesnt like being taken away from my router....I did this by mistake a week or ago and I wondered if this would throw the settings out. It didn't seem to...till yesterday.When I send now it just shows a constant "loading" strip but doesn't send.

i want to buy a nokia phone but hesite between two phones : E72 and E75, does anybody could sould me to buy, i want in this order:

at the start of my search i would absolutly the N900 after seeing lot of but and battery life i go back to another phone and see that best battery life is normal phone with keyboard not with touchscreen so i hesitate beetwen the E75 with big screen and new E72.

Also can only download apps if via 3G - again have to disconnect from home wifi. Also cannot use the iplayer - probably because over wifi? Anyone else have this problem?

1.When i delete any mails from my gmail inbox folder it's going into to delete folder.After Deleting the mails from the delete folder or empty the delete folder when i do syncronise then again the same mails are geting in the inbox and all mails folder.This is the issue i want to get solved?

I have bought this option and my account remain INACTIVE !! So what can I do to reactive it? When synchronising on my N97 i have : "certificate expired"
