It's actually my mum's nokia 5800. I just wanna ask why when I'm trying to download themes from m.tehkseven.net using the phone's browser when I tap on the theme I want, it didn't start downloading instead they bring me to a white blank page with lots of weird looking letters (I have no idea what it is) but when I used my N97 to download it's fine no blank page or anything.
View 10 RepliesI'm comparing to my 5530, On the contacts bar it nicely blends into the back ground, on the 5800 is a dirty oversized white block with the contact in the middle, no blending in or anything, same on the email, a horrible big white square, nothing blended in, I've tried different themes, and reflashed but no good.

Both on Virgin Mobile. 1 has been updated to v40.0.005 but mine is using V31.0.101, i like the look of the new version but why cant i download the new software. i have tried using *#0000# and downloading the so called up-to date version straight from the Nokia support site but it wont give me the new version.please help.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm unable to download themes to my Samsung S6. When I select one to download a pop up appears on screen for a fraction of a second (it's such a small period of time, that I can't read the text displayed on it). The pop up then disappears and the theme is not downloaded.
I'd disabled some applications on my phone as they were hogging memory, and I think that might be something to do with it; so I've re-enabled all of the Samsung apps but I'm still not having any luck.
I have recently updated my nokia ovi on the cellphone. Now I am not able to download any app which I had previously downloaded too.If I go to 'my stuff', and select an app, the download button becomes grayed and is disabled.

For this i have deleted the installed files from the Application Manager and now when i goto the viewlog in the Application Manager all the installed files are still shown in the log in which most of the themes are still shown as installed. View 7 Replies View RelatedEver since I updated my Nokia 5230 software from version 10.xxx to 12.xxx to 20.xxx and yesterday to 21.xxx, I'm have not been able to install any sis/sisx theme onto my mobile and have also checked the application installation settings. Its goes through the entire installation and finally reads "No Access Unable to Install" finally when i remove the memory card and put it onto my frnd's Nokia E71 / 72 and install it to the memory it goes through and i'm able to use the theme. I've downloaded these themes from non-Nokia sources but expect support as both my frnd and me updated software yesterday to 21.xxxx for my 5230 and 31.xxx for his E72. He able to install themes but i'm not. Enclosed is the snap shot of the same. Couldn't get better than this Pls help expecting and early reply

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a nokia 5800 xpressmusic few months back. Phone's software is updated to version 40.2.005 and latest ovi maps v 3.04 is also present. I wanted to get the free navigation service and and connected my phone to ovi suite for downloading country maps. However, got the following error after clicking on the "update maps" section: Cannot find maps or voice guidance files in your device. this is due to either of the following reasons:
-Your device doesn't support the nokia maps application
- The maps and voice guidance files in your device are corrupted."
Some useful apps are exclusively available on Nokia website when you select the Product 5800 in Download Applications tab. Many of the apps like: Touch Guitar, Piano, Flute, SmartGaurd and etc., are not working on my mobile which I bought very recently. They either give an error saying,"App expired on Jun'10 (but we are still in June 2010 Month)

get installed without any issues, but are NEVER working (when tried opening, nothing happens on the screen) Also followed the same instructions specifed on the website as, "Download on your PC and then transfer it to your device using the Nokia PC Suite" apart from trying to install from Memory Card.
I read everywhere, including Nokia website, that I can download the official WLM client for my 5800 from Ovi store. However, I cannot find it anywhere, no matter how hard I search. When I search for "windows live" in Ovi, the only results are Nimbuzz, eBuddy and IM+. Where do I find WLM for my 5800?

However, now I can't download apps from OVI that I have downloaded before the restoration to factory defaults. I can download other apps from OVI fine. Only the apps that I previously downloaded have the "Download" button disabled or grayed out.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've recently had to reformat my memory card as the camera refused to work with the memory card inserted. I took off all pics, videos and music and saved them to the computer. However, when I've gone back to the Ovi store and into the "my stuff" tab, I cannot click the download button on many of the apps (mainly the ones that I actually use which makes it even more annoying). My husband has told me to go into "settings", then "application manager", then finally into "installed apps" and delete the files for the apps that I would like to reinstall (to reactivate the download button again). fantastic idea, but the file names don't give me any sort of clue as to what app they're for. I asked if it would be quicker and easier just to delete everything from the "installed apps" folder, at which point my husband nearly had a breakdown and told me not to do that as there were files in that folder that relate to firmware downloads and could cause more problems by deleting them.
