I have a strange problem here. I recently installed some new themes into my phone. But now I cant delete the themes in anyway. I have tried application manager but when I try to uninstall it does nothing.

For this i have deleted the installed files from the Application Manager and now when i goto the viewlog in the Application Manager all the installed files are still shown in the log in which most of the themes are still shown as installed. So i want all these themes to be uninstalled. Is there any way to sort out this problem. Another thiing I want to format my nokia n73 phone memory.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi had downloaded several apps and themes from ovi store. i tried all possible menas to locate them. also ion Settings>App Settings>Installed apps. but they are nowhere to be seen and some apps to which were compatible with anna and not with belle also when i connected my phone in mass storage mode. i found sys/bin folder and others containing old apps and some information which are not compatible with belle. so is it safe to remove them because they are just occupying space.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm comparing to my 5530, On the contacts bar it nicely blends into the back ground, on the 5800 is a dirty oversized white block with the contact in the middle, no blending in or anything, same on the email, a horrible big white square, nothing blended in, I've tried different themes, and reflashed but no good.

When I try to install or uninstall something it's says: Unable to start operation. Installer already in use.....Also A few days ago I had a problem with OVI store and I installed it but the shortcut is steel in the Application menu. ( if try to enter in ovi store it says that I have to update the application and if I try, I get an error). Is this a virus or a software problem? What should I do?

I just wanna ask why when I'm trying to download themes from m.tehkseven.net using the phone's browser when I tap on the theme I want, it didn't start downloading instead they bring me to a white blank page with lots of weird looking letters (I have no idea what it is) but when I used my N97 to download it's fine no blank page or anything.

However, before I try to install the new software, I read on here that it is a good idea to uninstall old versions of nokia maps/ovi maps.The phone has Ovi maps 3.01 installed but when I go to the Application manager, ovi maps is not listed?Does anyone know how I can uninstall the old version?

View 5 Replies View Related- It now takes several seconds to respond to key presses so every feature of the phone is running at a delay.
- SMS messages aren't being received in "real time" and I need to periodically turn the phone on and off again to receive them.
- "Messaging" itself has the largest delay and key-presses are at about a ten second response delay and if for example you select to mark today's messages as "read" then "processing" appears at the bottom of the screen. No matter how long you leave it "processing" it never completes, crashes and closes messaging.
- Having never previously locked up my N8 now does this at least twice a day when trying to answer a call - the touchscreen does not respond to me and the call rings out and eventually goes to voicemail. I run my own business and these are potential customers who my N8 is refusing to answer calls from.
- My N8 will now no longer pair with my bluetooth headset - which it has done for the past year. It's not the headset because I can pair and use it with both my desktop and netbook computers.
- Programs keep crashing and exiting on their own (e.g. Opera browser)
- Other previously working programs now will not start/open/launch at all. (Blackballer - app for rejecting certain callers).
- Other installed programs that have been set to "auto start" now do not auto start and must be launched manually.
I have not installed any "new" software since updating to Anna and all aspects of the phone were working normally before I updated. (I've found the WiFi connectivity temperamental but haven't had the need to used it since updating to Anna).I am presently syncing and backing up my phone using the Ovi suite but I would like to restore my phone to how it was before the Anna update but I'm not really sure which of the options I should choose (factory settings?)I have a class 10 memory card which contains several GB's worth mp3's and camera images - I have opted out of backing up the memory card on Ovi suite. I have installed paid-for apps installed via the Ovi store and I would (of course!) prefer not to lose them in any reset/restore procedure.In a nutshell I do not want to lose my mp3's, camera images (stored on memory card) nor do I want to lose my sms messages or installed paid-for applications.
Does anyone know how to uninstall Facebook, Twitter and Skype on the N9?? Have tried to delete but it doesn´t work, also tried to delete them in File Manager without any luck. I know you can put them way down on the start page, but since I really hate that kind of stuff I want the programs off my phone!!!

Public transport is useless unless you are traveling to those cities - it should be optional to load as are the maps.When I check via Nokia Suite on my PC I can see those apps listed as installed (see pics.). View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a used 5800, and yes, it is a old, 2,5 year old phone with latest software, works good. Only problem is that the vibration doesnt work. No matter is it on or off on profiles, it doesnt vibrate. And it doesnt vibrate even when i turn phone on, like my old 5230 did always vibrate when it boots up, my 5800 doesnt. What is wrong, why vibration doesnt work when someone calls or sends message, or not even vibrating in boot up, boots normally, no vibration.. Is the vibration function broken?
And my model is 5800d-1, is other models always too 5800d-1, or is my different and if yes, what is difference to other 5800's? This is a 2,5 year old Black and Red 5800. Using 52.0.007 firmware.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOkay, I know what you're thinking...USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION! But I have and I have tried all the solutions I could find on google and here. I've tried turning it on with just the bat, bat/mem, bat/sim, etc charged my phone and what not and still nothing. It just won't turn on.I even tried hard resetting it but nothing works. When I press and hold the power button it just vibrates once and doesn't do anything. When I hook it up to the pc, it recognizes that there's a nokia phone there...I think...but it only does when you click and hold power and i vibrates.

But then when I start to reinstall the apps I've lost. I've only installed ViewRanger (1.7Mb), and the memory has already dropped to 28Mb. I daren't install anything else. Is there any way to stop this problem recurring?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter recent upgrade to v 60.0.003, my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic does not seem to be working properly with my car bluetooth kit. It connects to the car kit alright, and the incoming call's ringtone is heard on the car kit and the call can also be accepted by pressing the green button on the car kit but the call voice (both mike and speaker) remains with the phone and does not come over the car stereo. If I look at the phone screen during the call, there is an option to activate the speaker but none to transfer the call to bluetooth device. I have tried fiddling with options in Accessories - > Car kit, as well as the bluetooth options, to no avail. Tried re-pairing but that didn;t help either.
