My 5800xm reboots whenever I try opening Themes menu. I had downloaded a theme from Ovi store and then this started happening. Any suggestions other than a hard reset or reinstalling phone firmware?
View 4 RepliesI'm comparing to my 5530, On the contacts bar it nicely blends into the back ground, on the 5800 is a dirty oversized white block with the contact in the middle, no blending in or anything, same on the email, a horrible big white square, nothing blended in, I've tried different themes, and reflashed but no good.

I just wanna ask why when I'm trying to download themes from m.tehkseven.net using the phone's browser when I tap on the theme I want, it didn't start downloading instead they bring me to a white blank page with lots of weird looking letters (I have no idea what it is) but when I used my N97 to download it's fine no blank page or anything.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Nokia 5800 express music less than a week ago. Right from day one I got problems like auto reboot and mobile hang often. My phone came with software v 40.0.0.005. I took it to the showroom where I bought this phone and they advised me to update latest software and that will solve the issue. I updated to v 50.0.005. But within another one hour I ended up with same problem. I am seeing pink horizontal lines before reboot. It automatically reboots while messaging and when I try to do something with maps. It hangs often when I see any video file. I took it to nokia care again but they formatted my mobile and installed v 50.0.005 but am having the same problem again. How do I solve this issue.Is there any option to claim for a refund?? Any option to replace handset?? Preferably different model? I find lot of problem in using this phone which is not user friendly.

About camera:
When I turn on the phone and go to the camera it works. I can take few photos and close it. But when I try to run it again there is only black screen. I have to reset my phone to open it once again.
About videos:
Very similar problem. I can watch few videos, but If I close the player and run it again, there is only sound and black screen. I must reset my phone to watch it again...
I have FW v31 and it's the newest software provided by my operator.
When I start my phone the accelerometer does not work, if i push the app button the menu stays over there, if i start the phone and push the button in landscape mode the menu stays there and if i push in portrait mode it stays there forever, but the car game works fine, I had this problem with Nokia 5800 that I sold and now I have the same problem with 5800 Navigation Edition.

I just downloaded the latest version of Ovi Maps for my 5800. I've seen loads of articles which show a menu screen like the one below, but I don't get this. Why not?Also, if I try to bring up traffic information, it tells me that I need to pay for a licence. I thought this was all supposed to be free now. I only downloaded the program last night, so I assume it's the latest version.

Tried camera through apps does same thing and it does not show it open also. It will not play any videos just sound. I watch bbciplayer a lot on my phone and all I get is sound it just comes up and says unable to play video or sound but I can hear the sound.
